Hello everyone, I'm back! Now who wants to see some advanced wizardry? Here comes the Opposite version of Eridan Ampora!
Eridan: Raise the wand. Be the wizard.
Oh, you're way ahead of this! You've just been introduced to magic by a friend in a dreambubble (said friend was then dragged away by her frantic and worried older brother, naively waving back at him) and you've gotten hooked! Your name is Eridan Ampora, and you're going to be the best wizard there ever was! You're sure of it!
For your entire life, your lusus tried to get you into things like science (boring mumbo-jumbo) and military things, the latter of which you have come to hate with a passion, as you absolutely love everyone you ever meet and never think of hurting them in any way, and you certainly can't think of hurting any strangers either. They probably wouldn't do anything wrong, if there were talks and other such things to discuss everything that was going on and see how they felt about the situation. You have always been a great stickler for diplomacy.
But you're getting off topic!
You decided to share this newfound love of magic (which is totally, completely real) with someone. The first person that comes to mind is Vriska, who would often play pirates with you when you were younger. Then you remember that now likely wouldn't be the best time, as she and Meenah are having a tea party to commemorate the fact that, six months ago, they had decided to join forces and defeat the supposed Muse of Destruction. Meenah was a bit of a shy person, which was really striking considering how violent and outspoken Feferi was, and she didn't like being around too many people at once. If you went in, the others may go in as well and invade the privacy of the moment, and Vriska would have to calm poor Meenah down and get her away before she started to cry.
You ran through the list of options in your head. Jade is a big fat no. You tried to befriend her, once, but she said some really weird and creepy things that honestly scared you, so you don't associate with her. You could try Karkat, but he's never in the dreambubbles, leading some people to believe that he never slept. With how that psycho was, well, you couldn't blame anyone for the assumption. Feferi didn't want anything to do with you after you told her outright that you could never support her campaign for genocide of the land dwellers. Equius was doing something for Nepeta, and Nepeta kind of scared you, and Kanaya would likely rip your clothes to shreds again...
So you decide to instead show Sollux. He would most certainly be more than willing to watch you practice your magic, and heck, you were best friends! You could totally ask him! You go over to the hold below the deck of the ship where you saw Sollux go a bit earlier, looking for him. You eventually found him on a husktop, laughing a bit at some cat videos. You decide to give the customary greeting.
The customary greeting is hugging the life out of him.
"Hey, Lux!"
Sollux moved forward maybe half an inch and the computer crashed. Then again, this was nothing new, as Sollux Captor was notoriously bad with technology. How he had been able to keep that husktop running long enough to be on Youtube and watch those cat videos, would now forever remain a mystery. Sollux eventually looked back to you, smiling. "ED, hey! What's up?" He kind of cursed under his breath when he saw the husktop screen, but simply pushed it to the side.
"Luuuux, do you mind watching me practice some magic?" You asked him, knowing that it was only polite.
He nodded, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't know that you knew any."
"That's the thing! I don't! I just found out about it from this real sweet human!"
"Alright, cool. Let's see this."
You took the small paper cup out of your pocket and set it on the ground beside the two of you, settling in beside your friend. You then pointed your wand at it, and tried to say the magic words the human had told you about.
"Hocus Pocus!"
At first, nothing happened.
You were starting to get a bit discouraged by this. You said the magic words again, then a third time, and all seemed lost. But then, the cup began to levitate. You watched in awe, completely unaware of the blue and red sparks. You looked back at Solux and grinned. "Look! It worked!"
"Yep, it sure did."
Then you began to float.
You gave a small squawk and flailed, realizing that maybe saying the words multiple times caused this to happen. Then you notice the faint tingling of electricity and the sparks. "Hey! This is your doing!"
"What? What, pfft, no, it isn't, it's your magic." Sollux tried to save himself and then he started to levitate in the air. "Oh no, Eri, you're making both of us float! Come, say the magic words so we can come down!"
You rolled your eyes and shook your head. "This is all you!"
"Is not! Just say it!"
"Alright, alright! Hocus pocus!"
Then the psiionics stuttered, and you both fell down on the ground in a giant heap, the paper cup gently hitting Sollux's head. You swatted playfully at his arm and looked down at him. He looked back at you.
Then you both began to laugh.
I hope you enjoyed that bit of cuteness! Review, please, so I know I didn't give myself diabetes for nothing.
