I sighed as I looked around the empty house. It'd been a month since we found out we were having a child and we'd just bought a little house. It was beautiful. Full kitchen,spacious living room,two bedrooms,and one and a half baths. Inutaishio had a decorator friend of his do the interior as a housewarming gift. He'd also gave us the number of a wonderful gardener. We'd only been in the house since Friday and Inuyasha'd been off for the weekend. Now it was Monday and I was alone. I didn't know what to do with my time. I decided to clean. After that was done,I decided I'd do some gardening.
INUYASHA'S POV
I smiled as I walked into my new house. Something smelled delicious.
"Baby?"
I smiled as my girlfriend came into the room.
"Hey baby. How was work?"
"Exhausting. I hurt everywhere. What's for dinner?"
"Roast,stewed veggies,and mashed potatoes with gravy."
"Sounds delicious. I'm gonna go get a shower."
She kissed my cheek and smiled.
"Ok. I'm gonna finish up."
AFTER THE SHOWER-KAGOME'S POV
I smiled as Inuyasha walked into the kitchen. I set his plate on the table,followed by mine. After dinner,I walked over to pick up his plate but he stopped me. He stood up.
"Sit."
I did as he told me. He kneeled in front of me and took my hand.
"Close your eyes."
I did so while wondering what he was doing. I felt him place something in my hand.
"Open em."
I opened my eyes and registered that the something was a small black velvet box.
"Yash?"
He opened the box and I saw the gorgeous ring.
"Kagome Higurashi,will you do me the honor of becoming Kagome Takahashi?"
"You're asking me to marry you?"
"Yes. I am."
I took a deep breath and stared at the ring.
"YES!"
He smiled and placed the ring on my finger,then spun me around. When he put me back on my feet,he kissed my forehead.
"I love you,Kagome."
"I love you too,Inuyasha."
SEVEN MONTHS LATER
I took a deep breath as I gave the final push. Inuyasha squeezed my hand gently,looking terrified,but proud.
"It's a girl!"
I smiled as Inuyasha kissed my forehead.
"A girl."
I couldn't believe it. We had a daughter. I layed back,feeling completely exhausted!
A YEAR LATER
"Dearly beloved,we are here today to witness the joining of this man and woman in holy matrimony."
I looked out at all our friends and family. I smiled when I saw my mother holding my baby girl,Izayoi.
"Do you,Kagome Higurashi,take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"Do you,Inuyasha Takahashi,take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"Then by the power vested in me,I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Takahashi! Go on and kiss her,son."
Inuyasha leaned in and we engaged in a passionate kiss. Our family and friends began clapping. This was the most perfect ending I could think of. I was now Mrs. Takahashi,married to the man I loved more than anything,except our wonderful daughter. She was the most precious thing I'd ever seen. Life was perfect. I wondered how I could be so lucky.
