Previously on Bitten…

"Yeah, I guess so. Well nice seeing ya, see you at school," the teen girl shoved Gray out of the front door helping him to avoid an awkward situation as Laxus was probably pouting like a child while staring fish faced after them. "Bring the drinks tomorrow, thanks! Oh, and if you tell another soul, I will eat yours with a smile, BYE!" With that Lucy slammed the door closed and retreated to her room after grabbing a plate of food, disregarding Laxus's shrill protests.

"Sup?"

"Nothing much you?"

"Eh, hungry I guess I skipped breakfast…you got the stuff?"

"Yeah? I think."

"Yay!" Lucy giggled and clawed the book bag from Gray's shoulder and began digging into the small carrier making him jump. The blonde's fingers stilled against a cool metal item then worked a strong grasp and tugged the object from the backpack. Lucy nodded in approval as she uncapped the bottle and took a sip. "You followed directions, good job," She grinned and shoved the thermos back into its pouch, satisfied with the taste. "Yeah, are you gonna keep your end of the deal?" Lucy wiped her lower lip, "What? Being your girlfriend? Sure." Lucy shrugged languidly. "I knew it!" Lucy glared at the new voice and its loudness instinctively. "Knew what, Mira?" The said white-haired teen emerged from the bushes, "You guys are dating!" She smiled in glee, ignoring Lucy's heated stare and answered Gray's question. Mirajane's smile dimmed, "Now sophomore…"Mira turned to face Lucy, "…you are much too pretty to have such an ugly scowl on your face," Lucy pouted to only blush when Gray's chuckles filled the air. "Whatever."

Gray grinned at her to earn a scoff. "Hello," Lucy smiled, "I apologize for my rude behavior. I'm not too fond of loud or sudden sounds, so…" Lucy trailed offering a hand to the senior in front of her. Mira took the hand and jolted but smoothly recovered. "My my, your hands are icy cold. I apologize for my sudden appearance," Mirajane's giggled and blew warm air onto the surface of her palm dramatically. Gray raised a brow. Lucy sighed and placed her hand softly against Gray's cheek and dragged it to the sensitive skin of his neck. Gray smirked, "It feels nice." He gripped her forming fist and pressed it closer to his collar bone and past the cloth of his shirt. Lucy hissed at the downy skin under her fingertips, "Gray?" He laughed at the angry features of her face. "I'm teasing you, that's what couple's do," Lucy pouted and relaxed her stiff hands as he let go, surrendering silently. "You guys are so cute, but you need to get to class." Mira's mood swiftly shifted into her authority aura. "You would not want to be late." Lucy nodded, "Sorry again!" She waved a hand and yanked Gray to the far right of the school building whilst mumbling how agitated she was at the awkward situation she was put in. They entered a small clearing with a rusting bench under a cherry blossom tree both laid atop chiseled stone.

"Blood."

Lucy threw Gray's bag to the ground and stepped closer to his surprised face as they turned the corner fully.

"It's in the bag-"

Lucy let out a feral growl from deep within her throat and further unbuttoned the raven's oxford than what he had done unintentionally and pulled the fabric from his shoulder, showing her need and animalistic side.

"Lucy…" He sucked in a breath at her glowing red eyes that flickered among her once chocolate orbs. Gray allowed the blonde to do as she wished, trusting that she wouldn't hurt him too much. Lucy wasted no time to drop her maw to his flesh. "G-uh," Gray groaned at the sensation of her soft lips, sharp fangs and icy fingers holding him in place. Gray bit his lip as he felt his blood draining ever so slowly, the girl was nearly done after several seconds of drinking her stress away; all she had left to do was lick the would clean as well as let it heal.

"Whoa…" Lucy jumped back at the new voice, being able to only heal one fang's puncture wound with her saliva. "I didn't mean to interrupt," The orange haired student chuckled nervously. Lucy squeaked and jumped behind Gray's back due to her embarrassment. "She likes to play rough I see…" Gray blushed viewing the bruising cut near his clavicle. "Shuddup Loke!" Gray jerked his shirt to a proper placement and quickly buttoned the fabric. "It wasn't what it looked like." Lucy shook her head furiously clutching the raven teen's shoulders behind him. Gray winced at her touch making Loke smirk, "I think it's exactly what it looks like…" Loke licked his lower lip and neared the couple, "…she just gave you a major hickey. Dude, I need a girl that'll play rough once in a while. You're lucky." Gray glared, "Loke, what about A-" The bell rang, cutting off Gray's statement. "Better not be late," He gave a dull grin and rushed off. "That was weird," Gray glanced over his shoulder receiving a nod in agreement. "Well, we better be off," Lucy smirked as Loke did once before while she slipped a ring from her finger. "You better hurry," Gray frowned, confused at her declaration to be answered as Lucy sprinted in vampire speed, disappearing instantly. Gray groaned and crouched to his bag; he picked it up and started a lazy jog to class.

"Sorry…"

The last bell rung, Lucy shoved a binder into her wrinkled duffle bag listening to the familiar boy behind her talk.

"For?"

The blonde questioned as she stood and locked the door of her locker for the night.

"Not picking up on the fact that you were so tense with Mira, or that you need real blood to keep you calm."

The teen nodded as a sign of forgiveness and began walking past the boy still standing at her locker.

"Are you still mad?"

"Mad?"

"You did growl at me," Gray shrugged masking his grin as he could practically see the girls mind go blank at the accusation.

Lucy sneered, "Uh, I, uh…ummm…"

"You, uh, ummm…?"

"Shuddup," Lucy shouted causing Gray to laugh and jump forward to fall into step with his "girlfriend".

Gray waited a bit, the sound of their heels clicking on the cobblestone under his feet driving him crazy as well as the eyes on them from neighboring girls. "Lu, is it okay if I…they're staring…" Lucy stilled at the feeling of his hand brushing hers. "No…kissing is better…better…because I get blood out of it." Gray raised a brow but let her twist his body to face her curvy one as he was still hung up over the uncertainty in her voice.

"It may hurt."

Lucy's eyes again glimmered red as she tugged him closer and pressed her lips to his. Gray grunted at the pain but it disappeared as soon as it was apparent, it was different than any other feedings. It didn't hurt, heck it felt nice to Gray. She let her arms drape along his shoulders lightly as she gently drew in the strings of blood. The raven's hands drifted to Lucy's waist and played with the hems of her blouse before he pulled her hips against his in a harsh manner, his fingers barely touching the smooth pale skin of the small of her back. Lucy gasped in surprise, enough time for Gray to dart his tongue into her mouth and lightly slide it along the surface of her own, leaving a tingling sensation on both of their tongues. Lucy squealed and pushed him away with her palm to his chest. "Gray, what the fu-" Lucy stopped herself, "Hold on." Lucy licked her lips before licking his. She peeled herself away from him and found a surprised look on his face.

"Gray?"

"I'm sorry, I don't know why I…" He trailed off, "It's okay; it was just kind of weird, but I guess I was to blame as well."

"No. I just liked how it felt and I got ahead of myself."

Lucy bit her lip. "I should get home, I have homework to do."

"Yeah."

"Laxus, why does the council want him?"

"Who? Fullbuster?"

Lucy nodded and leaned against the plush cushions of her loveseat as Laxus sat at the island wearing glasses with papers and cream-colored folders at his fingertips.

"I don't know…I can check if there is any information."

A few minutes went by of silence rather than hours thanks to the special glasses he wore.

"Nothing…but I found that your deadline is at the end of the month. If you need help, I'm here-"

"No, I've got this."

Laxus sighed and brought his large hand to his face, "Sure you do."

"I do!" Laxus stopped her short.

"You've made a bet, you're kissing. Lucy, you're getting too involved with this boy."

"I have my ways, he has to trust me."

"We both know that that isn't the main reason for your actions. You're attracted to that boy, but you're too afraid to admit it."

Lucy flinched under his stare. "Nu uh."

"L, you need to figure out your feelings. Romance is not an option. If you find yourself falling, we will take over. He will be forgotten."

Lucy glared, "He's my victim, I want to keep it that way-"

"L! I saw you guys in the courtyard! He wanted to hold your hand but you jumped straight to a make out session," Laxus raised his voice, the papers and glasses were abandoned on the onyx counter top.

"I didn't want him to hold my hand, real couples do that!"

"And they don't kiss?"

"I was getting blood from his lower lip!"

"Did he kiss you though?"

Lucy grew silent.

"Did he kiss you L?

The younger blonde mumbled a bit.

"L."

"He stuck his tongue in my mouth!"

Laxus cringed.

"Is that what you want to hear, Laxus? Do you want to hear of my misfortunes? I'm trying to get away but his blood his addictive. I can't not have it, not now that I've had a taste. And maybe I do enjoy the feeling of a boy pressing his lips to mine. Is it not natural? Mavis! What do you want from me? This is an experience, and maybe I'm screwing it up…but you have to understand that I'm just confused."

Lucy's shouts grew weaker as the fight left her.

"L…"

"We're done here. You obviously don't want to help me through my state of bewilderment. I've never felt this way-"

"L…stop. I just," Lucy looked up at her nickname, "wish that you'd fall for another vampire."

Lucy clenched her fist, her long nails dug into her skin.

"Yeah, I know you do."

"And what about Freed? I've seen how you look at him."

"Who? Oh! Freed-san!"

"You've forgotten who he was…Lucy what has gotten into you. You'd be blushing roses at the mere mention of his name."

The younger Heartfilia bit her lip and refrained from speaking for a few moments before tossing her hair behind her shoulders. She slowly worked to a stand taking her blanket with her.

"Love you." Came her dry statement as she turned her back ending the conversation.

"Love you too," Laxus sighed as a response, "Why does she have to make everything more complicated?" He mumbled as she was soon out of earshot as she had left her home.

XxXxXxXx

Gray awoke to the cold leaking through the blankets, which wouldn't have normally bothered him. He squinted past his black tresses and fiddled with his phone on his nightstand to his side. It read, '5:53' no wonder the usual black skies where lightening to blues.

The raven let out a throaty groan and slammed his head back against his pillow, he had plenty of time left to sleep; he heard another but much softer moan but dismissed the sound as his own.

Again the teen opened his eyes but this time with chattering teeth and pressure on his right arm. Once more the boy checked the time, '6:58' might as well get dressed. Gray turned in his bed to relieve his arm of the pressure but was greeted with long, silky, blonde locks of hair splaying underneath a familiar blonde holding an unfamiliar blanket. "Ahhh!" The male cried out and jumped from the bed waking the now scowling vampire.

"Shuddup, Gr-" Gray leapt from his spot on the ground and covered Lucy's mouth with his hands. "Shhhhh…my mom."

Lucy nodded and slipped from the blanket she obviously brought on her own revealing her pj's. The girl stood clad in her tank top and red panties making Gray blush at her lack of clothing.

Gray turned his head as she wiped the sleep from her eyes as if to save the embarrassment of flushing in front of the blonde. "What are you doing in my room Lu?"

She huffed and did a small jig of frustration, bouncing her assets in the process.

"My brother was making me mad."

Gray nodded and looked down to see his own lack of clothes.

"Gray?!"

"My mom! Hide!" He thrusts her lightly towards the closet at the loud noise making Lucy flinch.

"Gray! Breakfast!" Ms. Fullbuster pushed her way into the dark blue room. Gray gave a nervous smile hoping that his mother didn't notice the closet door closing as she made her entrance known.

"Kay, Mom."

"You're so messy…what am I going to do with you?" Ur tugged Lucy's blanket from his bed in a quick fashion and unknowingly dropped a lacey red bra along with it onto the floor. Gray shoved his fist into his mouth, blocking his suffocated words. The woman folded it in seconds and opened the closet before Gray could react. Ur twisted to see Gray's anxious face, "It's just your closet geez…the Fullbuster men…" Ur chuckled at her joke as she tossed the fabric on the floor. Gray gave a weak grin, "Gray? Whose is that?" Said teen froze at the malice filled voice of his mother.

Gray slowly turned on his heel and found his mom swinging a bra on two fingers with a glare. "Ummmm…"

"A C cup?"

Gray blushed, "Where is she-" Ur stopped herself and went straight to the closet yet again picking up on Gray's recent anxiety as she entered the closet moments ago.

She swung open the painted frosty blue doors and revealed an extensive haired blonde perched on the shelf above his clothes among boxes of books, her long legs positioned similar to that of a pinup model.

"The Fullbuster men…" Ur snarled and left the closet grumbling curses.

"Did you at least use protection?"She called before retreating to the hallway.

"Mom! We didn't do anything!"

Ur rolled her eyes, saying yeah right with her orbs.

"Why would he need protection?" Gray's older brother, Lyon, entered the room. Lyon sucked in a sharp breath at the sight of the other teen getting down from her spot in the closet wearing very little clothing. "Hello," Lucy bowed, "How unfortunate we are to meet this way." Lucy offered a hand to Lyon then Ur with a stoic expression whilst Gray was squirming in the background at the misunderstanding. "Maybe I could grab your number?" Ur sighed and grabbed Lyon by the ear and tugged him from the room with her, 'The Fullbuster men,' was heard even though it was hidden beneath Lyon's girlish shrieks of pain.

Gray cleared his throat and closed the door behind his family. "Your clothes…"

"Your clothes…" Lucy called back, picking up her discarded undergarment she must've stripped as she slept.

Without words, Lucy turned and ripped the tank top from her upper body leaving her in only underwear. Her back was facing Gray but it was enough to send him into a frenzy of hormones. She slipped on her bra in seconds but before she could reach for her tank top she was pinned to the bed.

"Why are you so d*** alluring?" The raven growled into the crook of her neck as their bodies pressed along one another. "Gray?"

"Lucy," her name sent a shiver down her spine.

He dipped so he could lick her neck lightly and nuzzled further against it while he straddled her body beneath him.

"G-Gray, your breakfast…"

"Let me kiss you, once. That's all I need, without drinking my blood, an honest kiss. You can do as you please afterwards."

Lucy sighed but allowed him as she brought her hands to his neck and tugged him towards her, his blood sounded good about now to stop her screaming mind telling her to get out of the situation. He quickly dropped closer to her pink lips. He put an end to the distance and captured her lips with his in a kiss that could not be categorized as chaste. He slumped down to the point of having his forearms planted on either sides of her face as he hovered over everything besides her lips. He moaned into the kiss as she began to suck on his lower lip independently. She let her cold fingers glide along the skin of his back to his waistband. "Gray!" Ultear barged into the room as her mother did, "Ummm…mom said your breakfast is getting cold. She also said to knock." Gray helped Lucy to a stand and handed the black tank top to her. "Thanks," He hastily shut the door in awkwardness. Lucy giggled and brought him to her place, she pecked his lips once, surprising Gray, and darted to the surface of his shoulder, reopening the old wound. She drank for a small amount of time before healing the injury and dressing herself into something suitable.

Gray smiled tiredly, "That was fun."

Lucy sighed and smiled despite herself, "Yeah."

"Do you want to talk about Laxus?"

Lucy frowned and shook her head, "Maybe later, you should go get your food."

Gray nodded, "Would you like to eat with us? I'm sure we are way past awkward."

Lucy laughed and shrugged, "I guess…the longer I can stall the better." Gray pouted before grasping her wrist and running with her downstairs.

XxXxXxXx

"Yeah, she's here…Laxus, she's with the victim. What the h*ll man!?" Rogue shouted into the phone viewing the two through a small window of what seemed to be Gray's home.

"I know…she's been a little too occupied with him, it's dangerous. I need you to break up their fake relationship so she can finish the mission," Laxus spoke on the other line.

"Sh*t, okay. I'll just pretend I'm her real boyfriend, d*mn Laxus…" Rogue was obviously upset at the extra work.

"Hurry up, the deadline is the 31st."

"Got it, bye."

Rogue hung up and glanced once more to see a blushing Lucy apologizing to the older inhabitants of the home.

"Why are you even doing a mission? You haven't been a vampire for more than a year Blondie."

He saw Lucy's ear twitch, she heard that.

Rogue cursed once more and stalked off to school as it would soon start. Guess it'll be the perfect time to separate them.
