Later, I was talking to Dawn.
"Why did he invite himself?" asked Dawn.
"Don't ask," I said.
"And, he knew he wasn't invited and the girls made plans with you," said Dawn.
"Dad was surprised," I said. "He recalled me telling Logan that."
"Me, too," said Dawn.
"I think he's losing his mind," I said.
"I think so, too," said Dawn.
The next day, at school, Logan found out that I told his mother. He tried to flip out on me for getting him in trouble. The girls were ignoring him.
"They're not talking to you," I said. "What you did last night wasn't nice."
I walked with them. At lunch, Kristy was shocked when Logan was trying to have me for himself.
"I will not sit with you," I said.
"Let Mary Anne be with her friends," said Kristy.
"We let you do that," said Claudia.
"You wouldn't like if she didn't let you join your friends," Dawn pointed out.
"Why do you think Kayla and Kaylee are mad at you?" I asked.
"I don't blame them, we would be, too," said Stacey.
"If the whole club was going out, that was different," said Kristy.
"Let's go somewhere else," I said. "You're not invited."
We all got up to go sit somewhere else. Kayla and Kaylee did the same thing without answering him. That would teach him a lesson. After school, Mrs. Bruno asked me if he apologized to me and I replied no. She told him to say his sorry. I told her he was trying to flip out on me. She said he's grounded until then. I felt better. I added he should do the same to Kayla and Kaylee. Mrs. Bruno agreed with me.
Later, I think Logan finally realized what I told him because he talked to me and finally apologized.
"What you can do is apologize to the girls, too," I said.
"I already did before I came to you," said Logan.
"You have to promise to let me spend time with my friends," I told him.
"I promise," said Logan.
"You can still join, but don't invite yourself like you did," I added.
"Deal," said Logan.
I was glad that my bad luck has ended.
The End
