After a couple of months Isa started to stop acting like a zombie and started to act like a normal person. Well as normal as someone can act when she had a vampire boyfriend and family. The reason why is because my dad had threatened to send both of us back to mom if we didn't start acting like we used to. So, Isa cleaned up her act and I pushed myself to be around more people since Roxy is hardly around now a day. Also, Isa has been hanging around Jake and he has been completely ignoring me along with Embry but whatever its nothing.
I looked up when I heard the front door open and I jogged down stairs to see my sister staring at her phone. "You alright, Isa?" I asked softly so that I didn't scare her.
I saw tears well up into her eyes and I rushed over hugging her. She sobbed into my hair, "Jacob told me that we can't be friends anymore and Billy said that I can't come over because Jake has mono." I pulled back and looked up at my twin worried. I rubbed her back and told her that he just needs some space and for her to take a nice warm bath. She tried to smile at me but it came out as more of a grimace.
Once she was upstairs and I heard the shower going, I stormed over to my bike, pulled my hair out of my ponytail, slipped on my helmet, and sped off down the road to the Rez. I pulled up to Billy's house and I saw that Jake was walking towards the forest wearing just a pair of cutoff, no shoes and no shirt. I swung myself off my bike and set my helmet on my bike.
"Jacob Ephraim Black!" I shouted storming towards him with a deadly look in my eyes. He just ignored me and kept on walking, so I ran up and stood in front of him. He froze looking down at me. I narrowed my eyes and said in calm, yet hard tone, "Why are you ignoring my sister and saying that you are sick when you really aren't?" I questioned but spoke before he could open his mouth. "She is heartbroken Jake! She came home looking like she was a month ago! She cried!" I exclaimed, "My sister doesn't cry or show her emotions much. Now why did you lie?" I growled raising an eyebrow.
He just sighed, "You wouldn't understand Ivy, now get out of my way." He said shoving past me and kept on walking.
"I wouldn't understand, I wouldn't?" I questioned as my voice got higher. I stepped in front of him again and copied him when he tried to go around me. "If you were the friend that I thought you were that we wouldn't be having this discussion because I know what it is like to be abandoned, to feel as if I am not worth anything, to lie to the people that I love because of some stupid law. I know what it feels like and if you think that I am going to let you live this down then you are sadly mistaken because I will peel you apart layer by layer until you gain you commonsense back." I said poking him in the chest. "No, actually I don't have time for that, I will wait for you to come back to this earth and then I will strangle you for your action for what you have done to my twin. Do you understand?" I quipped raising an eyebrow when he didn't say anything. I rolled my eyes and muttered, "Whatever" under my breath as I walked away from him to my bike.
I revved up my bike and shot off down the road towards home. Once I got home I checked on my sister and smiled softly when I saw her curled up in her bed he head resting on the stuffed wolf that Jake gave her for her birthday. I slipped into my room, shut my door and changed into my pj's to get ready for bed. I walked into the bathroom and quickly washed my face after I took my usual dark makeup off. Then I slipped back into my room and fell asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow.
