Chapter 6

The Escape

Emma ran to her daughter, dropping the bow on the way.

"Ow!" Isabella cried covering her bloody shoulder.

"Here!" Emma takes off her sweatshirt and wrapping it around the wound. Isabella looked up to see her mom staring down at her.

"Mom?!" she asked. "How…?"

"Emma!" Snow cried.

"Help us!" Rumple yelled. Emma's jaw dropped when he saw him chained to the walls. "It's a little hard to explain! Just get us down and I'll tell you!"

She went to the lifeless troll lying on the ground and found a key hanging from his pocket. She quickly unchained Neil, who she catches before he face-planted, then Snow, Charming, Aladdin, Jasmine, Rumple, Zelena, Alice, Nook, Robin, Anastasia, Charles, Henry, Cinderella, Chad and Regina.

"Follow me! We don't have a lot of time!" Emma says. Isabella gripped the map stronger and stumbled up. "Isabella, hold on!" She limps onto her mom who guides everyone outside the cave, around a tree, for everyone to rest. "OK! What the hell is going on!"

Neil gulps. "Something bad!"

She peers at Regina who sighs. "It's a long story."

"Well, you can all explain later! I need help!"

"What happened?!" Isabella said rubbing her shoulder to smooth the pain.

"It's Killian. Peter Pan's got him!"

"What?!" Isabella cried in pain and confusion.

"Don't worry! I'll find him!"

"But I want to help!"

"You are in no shape to help, you have to stay here!"

"But he's my dad!" she protested.

"You need to rest! No more arguing!

"What do you think you would do? You wouldn't sit in a corner afraid! You would fight! You would help the people you love no matter what! And what do you want me to do?! Sit and go through your worst nightmare you would have been dreading right now!"

Tears sprung out of Emma's eyes hearing her daughters' words. "I just don't want you to get hurt. I lost too many people already!" she cried.

"But they died of justice! They died of pride! From Neil," Isabella turned to Rumple. "To Robin Hood," she turned to Regina and Zelena. "They were afraid! They were frustrated! But they did what they thought was right! And I am living up to that expectation no matter what you say! Because my family's strong and I'm not holding back!"

Everyone stared dumbfounded. "You have to promise to come back with me," Emma says, her voice small.

"Nobody can make that promise." Isabella got up, threw Emma's red sweatshirt on the ground behind her, forgetting about the wound, walking into the distance. Emma nearly fainted. Snow comforted her, following the brave child to find Hook.

(I didn't think that was supposed to be like a heartbreaking type of chapter, but it was!) Thanks you for the support! More chapters coming soon! Sorry this was so short but I wanted to make more and more chapters!
