Maka's POV
'Darn it were late for training'
"C'mon guys you make OX and Hiro look like cheetahs. I bet even they could catch me" I teased them –well mostly Kidd he hates it when I compliment or bring up any guy 'not sure why though' it's funny how easily riled up Kidd can get when I compare him to anyone. I turn to se how well my teasing worked and I got to say I did a pretty good job I saw a glint of determination in Kidd's eyes and he looked kind of hot 'Damn though eyes' only a few steps left till I'm crowned the winner as always. I was about to turn the corner when the door opened up resulting in me crashing into the one person I had tried so hard to forget.
Matt
No ones POV
"Matt what are you doing here?" Maka snarled at him
"Baby why are you so cold mi preciosa "he said and caressed her cheek
Maka pulled away from his hand and said "No soy tu preciosa!"
"Ah but that's where you're wrong sabes que siempre vas hacer mi preciosa" Matt said
Maka was about to escape him but Matt knew Maka to well and could predict all her reactions so as she was trying to run away Matt enveloped Maka in a huge hug. Maka was in panic mode ' im being held by the person who broke me how could he do this to me'
"I'm sorry" he whispered in her ear
Maka stiffened not knowing how to react the person she longed for the one who hurt her had returned but she couldn't let down the walls she put up those years ago. She was so shocked and angry to accept his apology looking up into those honey sweet eyes that she fell so hard for.
"Please don't…just…don't… please go away I finally put myself back together again " Maka said trembling with fear as the past caught up with her tears started trailing down her face and she ran away to her safe place
Matt's POV
'Damn it did I really think she would welcome me with open arms after what I did to her. I am such an idiot she looked so fragile I hate myself for not explaining myself Maka please forgive me!'
No one POV
Matt stood there stunned as Maka retreats into the deathroom. He felt an immense amount of guilt drowning him, as he gathered his thoughts he was confronted by three males- two hateful and one confused. Kidd, Chrona, and Soul
"Why did you come back you inconsiderate jerk!?" Kidd screamed
"M-matt you know she's still not over what you did" Chrona added
Soul stood there watching the whole ordeal from when Angel(MAKA) and Kidd raced and acted completely out of character and the whole thing between Angel(MAKA) and that guy (MATT.) He was at a loss for words when she cried and ran away. Never had he been so angry seeing his Angel cry, Angel the girl who seemed to be so strong confident and capable crumble in the arms of some guy.
"Who the hell are you?!" Soul yelled making his presence known
"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS"
The other males pay no mind to him and dismissed him
"What do you mean that guy made Angel cry" Soul said
"Angel?" Matt asked but then understood' " Ah that's what she goes by now… I guess it suits her she is an angel" Matt mumbled to himself resulting in tick marks from the other males
"Matt this is Soul Eater- demon scythe" Chrona explained
"Is he her weapon?" Matt said with sadness and envy evident in his tone
"No he is not, she refuses to get a new partner she is currently an autonomous meister. This white haired idiot wouldn't be ab;e to keep up" Kidd said with malice
Matt flinched knowing it was his fault for breaking her trust
"Oi… OCD don't talk about me like I'm not here" Soul growled
"Soul I think you should leave you aren't involved in this and we don't trust you and Angel would kill us for speaking of such private affairs in front of a stranger" Chrona shot a fierce glare at Matt then Soul
Soul was annoyed at how secretive the small group was being, hating how helpless he was and how distant Angel made herself
"What about hum" Soul points accusingly at Matt "he's only been here for ten minutes but has more right to be involved in your business? Who is he and what does he have to do with my Angel ?!" Soul yelled
At the end of Soul's outburst the other three males turned away in shame covering their eyes with their bangs
"Guys WTF!? What's going on? Who is he?!" Soul screamed now losing all patients
"You're he has every right to be involved" Kidd paused and glared at Matt before continuing " After all he's the reason she hardly smiles"
"Just who is he" Soul asked now exasperated with how vague they were being
"S-soul y- you don't ne-need to know" Chrona spoke up reverting back to his timid nature
"No he and everyone will know who I am soon enough because I'm back and here to stay" Matt said with determination
Soul turned to Matt "Just who are you?" he asks slowly
Matt smirks and turns all his attention to Soul " Me, I'm her weapon"
