Early Rising.

My eyes scrunched shut tightly as the light suddenly hit them.

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty is awake!"

I groaned at the cheerful voice that emanated from where I believed the door was. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up slowly.

"It's a Rapunzel skin actually. Not hush and turn that light off, it's too early..."

Axle laughed at my grumbling as he finished opening the curtains, flooding the room with light. Blinking rapidly, I saw the sun was only just rising, the skeletons just starting to burn. I groaned again and threw myself into the pillow.

"I know that princess," He chuckled, stressing the title. "You're like Wing, ya know. Never awake before the sun in the middle of the sky, he is."

"I'm not that bad," I grouched back. "I'm awake, just not up."

He simply laughed in response once more. Morning people...

"C'mon, Moohicky... Up!"

"No."

"Up!"

"No!"

"Up you get princess!"

"Oi! Give me that back!"

"Nope! Up you get!"

"Stop it! Give me the blankets back!"

"No way. Come and get them!"

I glared at Axle, who was bouncing around, swinging the blanket like a flag of victory. I smirked and shook my head. So smug... He thinks he's won... Oh, he is asking for it...

Suddenly, I leaped up and gave chase. Back and forth we ran, ducking and weaving around the room, leaping over and clambering on the bed, laughing the whole time.

I skidded around the corner of the bed as Axle leapt onto the bed, waving the red blanket above my head. Damn him and his height...

Then, I launched, throwing myself around his middle and causing us to fall on the bed in a heap. Laughing whole heartedly at his look of shock, I pinned Axle down and took the blanket back. He let out a shaky breath.

"Notch Moohicky... I think I lost three hearts just then.."

I shook my head at him, still laughing. "Nonsense. I knew what I was doing drama queen. You're fine. That's what happens when you wake me so early!" I mock scolded, tickling his sides.

"Stop it!" He spluttered, wriggling like a mad thing. "I'm sorry, have mercy!"

"Do you promise not to do it again?" I challenged, ducking a flailing arm.

"Yes!"

I released him, grinning triumphantly. He clambered around, gasping for breath, causing me to chuckle at his dramatics.

"Meanie Moohicky..." Axle grumbled, pouting.

I merely grinned back.

"Never said I wasn't Axle."

Sorry guys for the long wait. This chapter didn't want to work for me but I think it works now. As always, ideas are very welcome. You know the methods of contact by now XD
