Hey guys, here's the next chapter! Once again I am super duper sorry it's been so long. I cut this chapter into two so I could give you something. I have no excuse other than I had a lot of work. The chapter after this should be up soon (and by soon I hope it will be up in 2 weeks max) since I figured out how the date is going to go. Anyways let me know what you think! Chapter 7: Tell me about your magnificent self

Alec arrived at the park, chose a spot near a tree and placed the blanket on the grass and sat down against a tree. He took out his book to read but he was too nervous for Magnus to arrive and after the 50th time of reading the same sentence over and over he gave up and he let his mind drift. After a few minutes a harmonious voice he would recognise anywhere spoke "Hello beautiful. Fancy meeting you here."

Magnus was making his way to the park after a good half hour of deciding what to wear. And THEN he had to work on his make-up and sparkles. He couldn't go without sparkles, especially if this was a date and with that gorgeous blue-eyed boy. He had to go all out for this boy, he really did like him and wanted to get to know him which was why Magnus was nervous even though he would never admit it out loud. He decided to walk to the park since it was only a couple of blocks from his house and so he could have the time to calm his nerves. When he arrived all the calm he had been able to achieve went down the drain because Alec looked incredible! Alec was sitting on a blanket against a tree reading with a basket next to him but that's not what surprised Magnus, he actually expected this kind of setting. What surprised Magnus was what he was wearing! Instead of one of his holey and faded sweaters and jeans combination Alec had on a tight blue shirt with a white random pattern which showed off his muscles in all the right places and brought out his eyes perfectly and black skinny jeans which showed off his perfect ass. Magnus was shell-shocked. He didn't know Alec all that well but he assumed from the few times he met him that he didn't wear the outfit he wore today often and he had a feeling Isabelle had something to do with this. He was going to have to thank her later. Magnus made an effort to stop staring and spoke up and couldn't help but notice the blush that made its way onto Alec's face at the compliment 'Awww he's adorable' he mentally cooed. Alec looked up from his book and Magnus smirked since he was very obviously checking him out.

Alec heard Magnus' voice before he saw him. He looked up from his book and slowly took in his appearance. He was wearing black boots with neon green laces that hiding part of his leather black pants. Damn those leather black pants that looked so good on him and left nothing to the imagination. As his eyes travelled up he saw Magnus was wearing a black, tight tank top with a netted tank top the same color as his shoes. Then he reached his face, which had sparkles around his eyes as well as a thick black line of eyeliner to make those golden eyes stand out even more. He also had a few sparkles in his hair but he kept it down. Alec found himself liking it more than when it is styled up. And on his mouth he had applied a bit of gloss. He felt himself blush as he saw the smirk on Magnus' face and being caught red-handed checking him out.

"Like what you see?" Magnus asked smirk still in place

"Yes." Blurted out Alec and Magnus chuckled at the bluntness of the boy.

"I mean no!" and now at the shyness.

"You don't! Why baby, you hurt me" he said clutching at his chest being the drama queen that he is. By now Alec was as red as a tomato so Magnus decided to stop teasing him and start their date or they never will.

"So darling, I got a text from an unknown number to meet at this park. You wouldn't know anything about it would you?"

"Um yes. Actually, I sent that text." The blush that was starting to fade returned slightly.

"I know. So is this a date?"

"Um yea I guess. I didn't tell you it was me because I wanted it to be a surprise and I thought it was a good way to get to know each other. I made us food. Izzy and Simon helped me."

"You made the food? You know how to cook?"

"Um yes. Simon helped with what to cook, you can't let Izzy near a kitchen. Ever. Trust me."

Magnus chuckled "She's that bad?"

"No worse" Alec mentally slapped himself and thought 'Alec what are you doing? He doesn't want to know about Izzy's cooking skills. Or non-skills. Ok stop it stop it. But it doesn't look like he minds. Okay okay change of topic' Alec snapped out of his head and noticed Magnus staring at him

"What?" Alec asked

"What what?" Magnus replied. He chuckled after he realised what he said.

"You were staring at me…"

"I was staring at you because you look hot" Magnus replied with nonchalance. Alec blushed 50 shades of red at that and he didn't know what to reply.

"I asked Izzy to help me find an outfit."

"Aha! I knew she helped you!" Exclaimed Magnus triumphantly.

"Hey! Only cause I asked her to!"

"I know I know I was just teasing you, you look like you're more at ease now too" replied Magnus smiling.

"Oh" said Alec with kind of a shocked face "um wanna eat?"

"Sure! What's for dinner?" Asked Magnus happily. Alec started taking containers filled with food out of the basket along with a few things.

"OMG! Teh botol! I love teh botol*!"

"I know" Magnus raised his eyebrow and Alec blushed on queue. "I asked Simon. I asked Simon what you liked and made that as well" Alec explained blush still in place.

"Omg you're so adorable" Alec blushed even more "No one's ever done anything like this for me. And you don't even know me that well. Yet." As he said the last word, Magnus smirked.

"Thanks, I guess. I know but I wanted to do something special and I want to get to know you"

"It is special. Thank you. But now I don't know how I'll be able to impress you on our next date" Magnus smirked again. Alec's eyes widened

"Next date? We just started this one. How do you know you'll want another date?"

"Well, I too want to get to know you better and one date is not enough" By this time Magnus had already started eating and he settled himself comfortably against the tree next to Alec so that they were touching from shoulder to hip to leg. The closeness made Alec's heart beat furiously. A couple of seconds later Magnus speaks up

"So tell me about yourself then if I'm going to get to know you"

"Why don't you tell me about yourself first?"

"Because I already started eating and it's not polite to talk while chewing and since you have nothing to do since you haven't started eating, you might as well talk"

"I could always go back to reading my book" said Alec, but even he knew he that was a lie, he wouldn't be able to concentrate with Magnus next to him.

"You could. But you wanted to get to know me too if I recall. So you tell your story and then I'll tell you mine. And I'll even allow you to eat, that is, if there's any left. This is amazing!" Said Magnus happily going from container to container trying everything he could get his hands on. Alec blushed at the compliment

"Thank you. And I was only teasing. Though please leave me some, I would like to have some dinner tonight"

"I guess I could let you have a little portion of this" sighed Magnus. Alec rolled his eyes but smiled nonetheless. Magnus continued, "So start. Tell me about your magnificent self."

*teh botol is a type of drink in Indonesia. Personally I don't actually like it but I thought since Magnus is from around there that I would put that in :P
