So pretty meaty chapter here! Hope you enjoy! Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to Harry Potter but I do have Quidditch goggles.

Chapter Seven: The Dinner

It was the day before Ginny had to leave for Ireland; she was sitting on her bed packing final things for the trip when Harry came into the room. "You already to go? Your mom is expecting us in an hour and we still have to transport Teddy, so we'll probably be late." Harry joked.

"I can't do it, Harry. I can't go." Ginny said as a tear fell down her check.

"What are you talking about, you're leaving tomorrow and you are going to be brilliant!" Harry sat next to her and put his arm around her shoulder as he pulled her into his chest.

"I can't leave my family like this, not now, not after everything that's happened."

"What do you mean? Your family is ecstatic for you, why the sudden change of mind?"

"Harry, my brother is dead, we have a child, and we're engaged. I can't just leave now." Harry looked at his fiancé worriedly. He had never seen her like this.

"Ginny, Fred would have wanted you to go, he would have been so proud of you, Teddy doesn't care if we lived on the moon, he loves you no matter what, and from the moment we first kissed I already planned on marrying you, putting a label on it only makes me happier. If you want, we could get married right now, today."

"Really?"

"Ya, let's go, right now!"

"Where would we go?"

"Hogwarts of course! Professor McGonagall can officiate! We can get Ron and Hermione and we'll bring Teddy, and I have something for you." Harry ran off to the dresser and pulled out a small box. He got on his knee in front of Ginny. "Ginny Weasley, will you marry me?" He presented a sparkling diamond ring.

"Oh, Harry it's beautiful, yes I'll marry you!" The lovers kissed as they sent a patronous message to Ron and Hermione to meet them at Hogwarts. As the four young wizards and Teddy aparated at Hogwarts, they rushed into McGonagall's office.

"Potter! Weasley! What in Earth are you doing here?" Professor McGonagall looked at her ex students in wonder.

"Professor, we have a huge favor to ask of you, will you marry us?"

"Excuse me? Potter, I, can you please elaborate?"

"Ginny and I are engaged, and we want to get married before we have to leave for Ireland for Ginny's quidditch. Please, nothing fancy, I just want to be married to her." At that moment Ron and Hermione rushed through the corridor.

"We just got your message, are you sure you want to do this now?" Hermione asked to happy couple.

"Yes, I want to be married to him more than anything else, and with us leaving without being married to him just doesn't feel right." Ginny then pecked Harry on the cheek and ruffled Teddy's hair.

"Alright, I'll do it. Only because none of us would be here without you two and maybe I have taken a liking to this rambunctious group." Professor McGonagall said with a pleasant smile on her face.

The happy group then traveled up to the tower and started the ceremony.

"Now, Potter, repeat after me; I Harry, take you Ginny, for better and for worse, for richer and for poor, in sickness and in health, for as long as we both shall live." Harry repeated it, as did Ginny. "Now with the power invested in me from Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride." The couple kissed as Ron and Hermione clapped.

"Ronald Weasley! Are you crying?" Hermione asked.

"No! I just, well it's my little sister. I can't help it." Hermione wrapped her arms around her boyfriend and kissed him on the cheek.

"Hey buddy, I'm glad you stay awake long enough to see us married." Harry said as he picked Teddy out of Hermione's arms and ruffled his hair.

"We're a family now, Harry." Ginny said softly.

"We've always been a family, Ginny." Harry said as he kissed his bride one more time.
