Chapter 7 Secret Slayer!

Taylor's P.O.V

This morning seemed peaceful, I could hear the birds were chirping outside and my bed was nice and comfy. I smiled to myself and snuggled more into my covers, today was going to be a nice, peaceful non stressful day and nothing can get in the way off that.

That was until someone barged into my room.
'Taylor time to get up!' Michael shouted.
I groaned 'Why?'
'Today your first day at college' He reminded me.
'I'm not going' I said as I dug my head into my pillow.
Michael laughed as he open the curtains and the sun beamed into the room.
'What the hell?' I say as I pulled the covers over me.
But of course Michael ripped them off 'Taylor get up and get ready for college'
'No' I said as I tried to get the covers back from him.
'Taylor you rather get up or I will pick you up and drag you to college' Michael told me.
'Of course you will Michael' I said as I closed my eyes and tried to get back to my peaceful sleep and block him out. All of a sudden I felt myself being lifted and the slung over Michael's shoulder.
'Michael!' I yelled.
'Your going to college Taylor' Michael says as he walks down the stairs.
'Put me down!' I shouted, Michael walked into the kitchen and then gently placed me down.
'Good morning Taylor' Eve grinned.
'No it is not a good morning, what the hell do you think you're doing? You had no right to just...just throw me over your shoulder like that' I tell Michael.
Michael smiled at me 'I believe I just did'.
I opened my mouth to argue back with him but was rudely interrupted.
'Whats with all the yelling?' Chance asked as he walked into the room.
'Taylor is refusing to go to college' Michael answered.
Chance rolled his eyes 'Of course she is'
'And what is that supposed to mean?' I questioned him.
He turned around to face me 'I mean that you never just simply do something, instead you make things awkward and make things complicated'.
'I do not' I argued.
'Oh really? Then why are you refusing to go to college?' He asked me.
I stared at him for a moment before clearing my throat 'Fine, I'll go to college. If that's makes things simpler'
'Good for you...oh and you might want to change your clothes. You don't look all that good in those clothes' Chance told me.
'These are my pyjamas' I pointed out.
'Well hurry and get ready you need to get there early if you don't want to be late for your classes, and Chance your still walking her so you better get ready as well' Michael told us.
'I'm not walking with her when she looks like that' Chance protested.
'What makes you think I'm walking with him anyway?' I asked Michael.
'Well have a nice time trying to find you way to the college' Chance says to me.
'Whatever ass hole, I'd rather waste my whole day trying to find the college then walk with you' I snapped at him.
'Enough' Shane yelled , me and Chance both turned to face Shane.
'The both of you will get ready and the both of you will walk to college together. I don't care if you don't like it but you are and I don't want to hear any more arguments from the both of you any more' Shane announced.

'Whatever' I said as I walked past him and made my way to my room. I can't believe how Chance just acted, he is a complete ass hole. He even dissed my pyjamas which was completely rude. I mean fine if he wants me to dress better than this then fine, he's going to regret even telling me to dress better.

Chance P.O.V

As soon as Taylor left Shane turned around and glared at me. I rolled my eyes at him and opened the fridge for something to eat.
'Why are you arguing with her?' Shane asked me.
I shrugged 'Guess we just don't click'
'Dont give me that bullshit Chance, she's only just arrived. As soon as she walked through the door you two practically hated the sight of each other' Shane told me.
'Whatever Shane I have to get ready for college' I said as I tried to walk past him, but he put his arm out stopping me from walking any further.
'Chance don't forget she hasn't had the best time at home, and she is Michael's cousin so don't hurt her okay?' He asked me.
I stared at him and then smiled 'I wont, don't worry'.

I then headed up the stairs to get ready. I don't see what their problem is. I mean I was the one to convince her to go to college, if it wasn't for me she would still be refusing to go and making our lives more complicated. I changed into my black T-shirt and dark blue jeans and ruffled my hair into place, I am not going to have a good day today. Me and Taylor can barley stay in the room for 5 minutes without arguing so I don't know how to walk to college is going to be. I walked out my room to see Taylor just walking out of hers, we locked eyes for a minute before she looked away and strutted past me, it was then I realised what she wa wearing. She had this white lace top on with these dark blue shorts on ad she wore a dark grey cardigan over her lacy top,you could hear the sound of her brown boots banging own the stairs. She actually looked...hot...oh no, no wait, no she doesn't, she doesn't. Chance you are not allowed to look at her like that she is the enemy and she is not in the least bit attractive. I sighed to myself before walking down the stairs.

Taylor's P.O.V

I really liked the outfit I was wearing, it was one of my best ones. This should show Chance to not diss my fashion, I mean seriously what a jerk.
'Oh you look nice' Eve smiles.
'Thank you, I'm all ready' I told her.
'You look great honey' Eve told me.
'I'm ready lets Chance announced as he opened the front door.
'Bye guys' I said as I followed Chance out the door.
'Wait up!' I yell as I ran to keep up with Chance.
'I hope I don't have to walk with you every morning' He tells me.
'The feeling is mutual' I snapped as I tried walking ahead.
He laughed a bit 'Sure just walk ahead what a great idea considering you have no clue to where the college is'
I rolled my eyes 'Well I'd rather be lost then listen to your rude comments'
'Hey, you've said rude comments too' He pointed out.
'Only because you said them first' I said.
'Whatever Taylor, why don't we just keep out of each others way? If we see each other in college we ignore each other, we don't look, talk or even breathe next to each other' Chance ordered.
'Sounds perfect, at least now you can't ruin my day' I smile.
'And you can't ruin mine' He says.

We had both turned a corner where a huge building caught my eye, there was a huge grass area were people were sat down on talking and laughing. A small wall surrounded the college where more students sat on and had a conversation. Me and Chance both walked down the path that lead up to the college, I looked around at people who just looked so happy. Chance opened the doors and we both walked down a long corridor, there were lockers on each side of the rooms where people stood by, I saw some people turn to face me and Chance and then turn back to their friends. What was that about?
'This place looks great' I smiled.
'Yeah dont be fooled' Chance says, I frowned at him and was about to protest against him comment when I was interrupted.
'Hey Chance' A girl said, she had dark brown hair that she had put up in a bun. Her eyes were also a dark brown colour that were full of light. She was wearing light blue jeans with a light pink jumper, and she had her cream coloured bag on her shoulder.
'Hey Julia' Chance smiled.
'We have first period together' She told him as she glanced at me.
'Do we?' He asked her.
She frowned 'Yes, did you forget?'
Chance thought about it for a minute whilst Julia watched him, her eyes weren't full with light any more.
'Oh, of course! Sorry I've just had a lot on my mind right now' Chance lied.
I rolled my eyes 'Oh please'

Julia and Chance both turned to look at me and I smiled nervously.
'So...whos this?' Julia asked Chance.
He sighed 'This is Taylor, she's new here'
'Hi' I smiled at her.
'Hi she smiled and then looked back at Chance 'Did you two walk together?'
He nodded 'unfortunately'
I smiled at him and spoke in the most sarcastic tone 'Oh don't be like that we had a great conversation on the way here'
'Oh yeah' Chance said also in a sarcastic tone 'What a lovely walk that was, cant wait to walk home with you and walk to college with you again in the morning'
'Wait your both walking home together as well?' Julia asked us.
'unfortunately' We both said at the same time.
'Oh but Chance dont forget you have to walk me to the reception so I can get my schedule' I reminded him.
He rolled his eyes 'How exciting'
'I can do it' Julia announced,me and Chance frowned at her and she laughed nervously.
'Your new here right? Well I could show you around, if Chance doesn't want too' Julia says.
'Sure' I smiled.
'Thank you so much, what would I do without you?' Chance asked Julia, he then checked his phone 'Im going to be late, see you in class' He smiled at her and then walk away from us.

Julia stood there grinning and blushing and she even turned around and looked back at him.
'Shall we get going?' I asked her.
She spun around to look at me 'Sure'. We both started walking towards the school, and I can tell you considering I've only just met this girl I can already tell she has a huge crush on Chance. For the walk to the reception she was smiling to herself, I can tell how interesting this day is going to be.
