Chapter 7

Rin's POV

I was sitting in the living room or as Sesshomaru called it, 'the sitting room', even though it had a ninety-inch plasma TV and surround sound. There was also a giant bookshelf full of every genre of movies and music. The couch I was currently sitting on was white leather and there was a really fluffy white carpet to match. I was currently watching the newest episode of Gravity Falls, with Sesshomaru sitting at my feet as I braided his hair.

"Rin?" Sesshomaru called my name as I looked down.

"Yes Sesshomaru?" I replied still braiding his hair.

"Why are we watching this cartoon?" He asked as I finished putting the tie in his hair.

"Because I won the bet that I could hit Jaken with a piece of apple from twenty feet away." I said smiling down at him and grabbing the daisies I had picked earlier that day. Poor Jaken still had a bump on his head from the apple piece I had thrown at him during lunch. It was pretty funny when I had made the bet, but I didn't realize that Jaken bruised like a banana when I had made it. I was pulled from my thoughts as Sesshomaru stood up from the floor and sat back down next to me. He pulled me onto his lap and put his arms around me.

"Sesshomaru?" I asked with a blush on my face from the sudden action as he wrapped his arms tighter around me.

"I wish to hold you." He stated simply.

"Okay" I replied as I relaxed in his hold and tried to watch the show- tried and failed as my thoughts wondered to my handsome intended as Sesshomaru liked to call me. Although to me it sounded a lot like we were engaged. That's when it suddenly hit me. I sat straight up and hit Sesshomaru on the chin with my head and turned around only for me to fall to the ground and jump right back up.

"Sesshomaru! Intended means were engaged doesn't it?" I asked not letting him answer. "I mean we're going to be married right?" I asked as he suddenly pulled me down in his lap again and put his hand over my mouth, which kept me from continuing my rant. I looked into his eyes, which were still those handsome golden color.

Sesshomaru's POV

"Yes mate it does." I said as she licked my hand and I removed it from her face.

"When did I gain the nickname mate?" She asked me as I tightened my hold on her.

"You are my intended mate, thus I shall call you mate." I said as I nuzzled her neck.

I listened to her heartbeat pick up and then I nipped her neck and listened to her gasp. I smirked as I continued nipping and licking at her neck to leave my scent on her, thus claiming her as mine.

"Mine." I growled lowly as I held tighter.

"Possessive demon." She mumbled, looking at me with her beautiful chocolate brown eyes.

I smirked as I took in her beautiful scent and nipped at her ear. I loved her scent. It was what told me Rin was my intended mate in the first place and I would be dammed if anyone tried to take my Rin away from me.

It was well after ten before I started walking Rin back to her room. Tough I would much rather have her to stay in my room so that I could protect her and hold her close. I suggested this to her.

"No thanks. I'm afraid if I did you would kill some poor maid or Jaken." She said though I disagreed saying I would only kill Jaken. Rin didn't like that.

"No bad dog! No killing Master Jaken." She said spraying me with a bottle of water.

"Where did you get the bottle from?" I asked her as I tried to grab the bottle and failed.

"Not telling! But it will certainly come in handy so that you can't kill master Jaken." She said smiling at me.

"Master Jaken? Really Fluffydragon?" I asked looking at the author.

"Shhh, fluffy sama no braking the fourth wall." She said.

"You are breakin the fourth wall by saying something back."

"Yes but I'm allowed to because I'm the author of this story, so what I say goes."

"My name is Sesshomaru, Lord of the Western Lands." I said glaring at her.

"I know that,"

I held up Tōkijin to her throat. "Call me Fluffy sama one more time and I will not hesitate to kill you!"

"Fluffy sama,"

"That's It." I said attacking her.

Meanwhile with Rin

"What just happened?" She said watching Sesshomaru disappear in the fighting cloud. "Actually never mind I'm going to bed because I have work in the morning." She said as she walked into her room and shut the door and got ready for bed.

Third Person POV

"How did you, a lowly human beat me?" Sesshomaru said to himself, all the while trying to escape the duct tape and extension cords that Fluffydragon had tied him up with and had his own sword pointed as his throat.

"Because I'm the author, I will always win in this kind of situation. But, I will make a deal with you fluffy sama."

"What kind of deal?" He asked glaring up at her.

"I will stop Rin from calling Jaken master, if you allow me to continue calling you fluffy sama."

"And if I don't agree?"

"If you don't agree then you will receive no more kisses from Rin!"

"Fine deal! Just don't take my sweet Rin's kisses away from me, almighty Fluffydragon."

"Good! Now go to bed because you have work in the morning."

"Hai Fluffydragon sensei." He said as he bolted for his room, knocking Jaken down on the way, resulting in him receiving another bump on his head.
