Looking over the first chapters and what I have written but not published, I'm unhappy with how the story is fleshing out so far. Originally, this was going to be a oneshot but then I started improvising before I really thought about where I wanted this to go. I have some very basic overall plot laid out currently, but I think to make everything work I'll have to rewrite this story from the beginning. Even if it wasn't plot required, I'd probably do this anyway because I feel I can improve what I've written so far significantly, fix details like making things fit better with their respective personalities and make their behavior more in line with their experiences (Dave and Dirk get along better despite their conflicts, make Dirk less sentimental toward John or at least for slightly different reasons, better explanation of how/why Dirk and Dave got together, John more worried about getting home, etc.)
Unfortunately though, I may have to go without being able to work on Bloodmaster for the summer due to little to no access to a computer with a keyboard, however, I'll still try to do what I can with what time I have right now.
I'm not going to say that I'll suddenly start writing at the speed of light once I have things all laid out, because that's the best way to jinx any possible chapter production, but feel free to drop suggestions on what you think needs improvement so far (please don't hold back). Nothing like a little constructive criticism to get me motivated.
