Blood Loyalty
Chapter Seven
[A/N: Just in case you didn't realize, when the sentence is in italics they're using telepathy.]
Raven sat bolt upright in her bed. Someone was trying to break into her mind. "Hey." Kyd Wykkyd was sitting cross legged on the foot of her bed. "WHAT ARE YOU DOIN-" Kyd Wykkyd dived on top of her and covered her mouth.
"Do you want to wake up the rest of the Titans?" He glared at her. "Get off me!" Raven pushed her brother off and sat up again. "What. Are. You. Doing. Here?!" Raven crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes. "Jinx kicked me out." Kyd Wykkyd pulled his knees up to his chest.
"What? Why?" Raven forgot her previous anger. "She's really mad at me because you are my sister." Kyd Wykkyd rested his chin on his knees. "But you can't control that!" Raven frowned. "I tried to tell her that but she didn't listen." Kyd Wykkyd looked down sadly. "Where are you gonna go?" Raven looked at her brother in concern. "I don't know. I hope you don't mind that I came here." Kyd Wykkyd sighed deeply.
"How did you get in here by the way?" Raven glanced wearily around the room looking for forced entry. "I teleported. Duh! I thought you were smart." Kyd Wykkyd did not hide his disgust at her lack of thinking.
"I did spells to protect from beings such as yourself." Raven glared at him. "They were child's play." Kyd Wykkyd smirked. Raven balled her hands into fists. "Relax, blood of your blood is exempt from those things normally, I figured you knew that." Kyd Wykkyd rolled his eyes at her.
"That explains why father has been able to communicate with me." Raven sighed and flopped back on her pillow. "Father has spoken with you?" Kyd Wykkyd frowned slightly. "I don't wanna talk about it." Raven turned away from him and sighed. "I understand." Kyd Wykkyd laid down on Raven's other pillow.
"I'm assuming you wanna stay here?" Raven turned back to face Kyd Wykkyd. "I was hoping to." He replied, staring up at the ceiling. "It's alright with me since I know you aren't super evil and trying to trick us. But I don't think the other Titans would go along with it. Especially Starfire." Raven rolled her eyes thinking about Starfire's reaction. "They wouldn't have to know." Kyd Wykkyd smirked at her.
"I can't just lie to them." Raven sighed again. "But I can't just let you live on the streets." She relented. Kyd Wykkyd grinned widely. "I'm gonna go get my stuff!" He teleported out of the room.

"You know, this is gonna be really akward when we get into fights." Raven was helping Kyd Wykkyd a few minutes later stack his books onto her shelf. "What do you mean? We're like the same person it'll be fine." Kyd Wykkyd was hanging his clothes in Raven's closet.
"In the three days that we've known we were siblings we've already had two fights." Raven raised her eyebrows at him. "Well we're getting along now like we've known each other for years." Kyd Wykkyd smiled confidently. "You are lucky I meditated before I went to sleep." Raven scowled.

"GOOD MORNING JUMP CITY!" Kyd Wykkyd bolted upright from his bed on the floor at the sound of Beast Boy's yelling. "You'd better get used to it." Raven grumbled as she flew out of her bed and into the bathroom.
"BB WILL YOU SHUT UP? SOME OF US ARE TYRYING TO SLEEP HERE!" Cyborg's angry shout shook the tower. The two boys been arguing back and forth. "How do you deal with this?" Kyd Wykkyd asked his sister as he got up out of his makeshift bed.
"You get used to it after awhile." She replied. "Hey, what happened to you not wanting to use telepathy?" Raven opened the bathroom door and flew out, having changed into a her usual outfit. [A/N: I know in the cartoon they slept in their outfits/costume/uniform but for the sake of this story lets just pretend they all wear pajamas like normal people.]
"By the way, what happened to you not wanting to use telepathy?" Raven looked curiously at her brother."Oh, I kinda started liking being able to talk to someone...And it doesn't break the vow so why not?" Kyd Wykkyd grinned slightly. Raven smiled back at him.
"Let's got to the cafe breakfast. Beast Boy is probably gonna make some sort of tofu things for breakfast." Raven shivered at the mention of tofu. "Sounds like a good idea."
-Linebreak-
"Where is friend Raven?" Starfire asked as she walked into the living room. "I don't know, probably meditating." Cyborg was scarfing down sugary cereal along side Beast Boy who was scarfing down tofu scramble. "Robin have you seen Raven?" She flew over to the masked teen who was playing a video game. "I have not." He replied.
Starfire frowned. "I wanted to see if she would to journey to the mall of shopping with me." Starfire said sadly as she floated next to Robin. "She likes that cafe down the corner, check there." Robin replied. "JOYOUS DAYS WHAT A GOOD IDEA ROBIN!" Starfire hugged the boy tightly and then sped off.
Cyborg and Beast Boy began making kissy faces at the now blushing teen. Robin threw down his game control and glared at the offenders. "Robin it was just a jok-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Beast Boy ran for his life, Cyborg doing the same.
-Linebreak-
"Friend Raven I have been looking all over for you!" Starfire flew over to her cloaked friend who had been sitting at a table sipping herbal tea. "What are you doing here Starfire?" Raven asked, greatful Kyd Wykkyd has gone to the bathroom. "Are you not happy to see me?" Starfire's eyes filled with tears.
"No that's not it-" Starfire's loud sobs cut off Raven's response. Kyd Wykkyd chose this moment to teleport back to the table. Starfire screamed and backed away. "Really? You couldn't just walk from the bathroom?" Raven asked her brother as she stood up, preparing to remove Starfire from the cafe.
"I figured it would be fine since I teleported there in the first place!" Kyd Wykkyd sighed. "BE GONE!" Starfire eyes began to glow. Kyd Wykkyd grabbed his herbal tea and scone and teleported out of the cafe. "AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!" Raven teleported Starfire out of the cafe and back to the tower. "Why is it always on my shift that they come here?" Kelly the server groaned.
A/N: OMG IS IT AN UPDATE NOT A YEAR LATER FROM BEAKY?! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER? WHO AM I? Real talk the reason I can update is because I'm really sick and have been really sick for over a week. That gives me a lot of time to write.
