A/N: Okay, so the reason I didn't upload this sooner was because I was having exams last week. And I have two exams tomorrow, so I'm gonna go study now! I just felt bad for not uploading, so here you go! I really hope you guys enjoy this chapter! :D
"What happened?" exclaimed the redhead, shaking his friend by the shoulders. "What did he say?"
Kazuki put away his phone and looked at him, his eyes wide and filled with fear. "Someone's hurting him," he whispered. "Someone is hurting Tsubasa! I have to find him!" He suddenly sprinted down the same route he'd taken with Tsubasa, not caring to wait for the other male to catch up. Something about Mamori Park, right? And cherry blossom trees!
"Wait up, Kazu! Slow down!"
Kazuki was determined to find his kouhai. And when he was determined to get something done, nothing could stand in his way.
The lavender-haired boy stared up at Misaki in utter shock, unable to get any words out of his mouth. What is he talking about? He wants to kill me? The word kept ringing in his mind. Kill, kill, kill…
The blond man chuckled, running his fingers through the boy's hair. "You look surprised," he muttered, and slid his tongue across the latter's cheek. "I don't hate you, Tsubasa-kun. I hated your mother. And looking at you makes me angry because…you have the same eyes as her. The same beautiful face." He began sucking at the crook of the boy's neck.
Tsubasa shivered and bit his lip, trying to hold back another wave of oncoming tears. "P-Please let me go…," he begged quietly, closing his eyes. "I don't know what happened between you two, but…I can't help that I was born looking this way. So please just let me go…"
Misaki chuckled and shook his head a little. "This isn't your fault, Tsubasa-kun…," he said softly, looking up into his eyes. "I lied when I said I hated your mother."
"What do you mean?"
"I was in love with her."
Tsubasa's eyes widened in absolute alarm and he began shaking his head frantically. First this man said he hated her, and now he was in love with her? "Stop lying! That can't be true! She was…She was so much older than you!"
The blond man ran a hand through his hair, saying, "I don't see how age has anything to do with love. All I know is that I loved her. Well, I guess you could say it was more of a crush."
"What happened?" asked Tsubasa. He wasn't buying this story, yet he couldn't help but be a little curious. What kind of a woman was my mother to this man anyway?
"She left," answered Misaki bluntly, staring into the boy's sky-blue eyes. "I miss her." He placed his hand on the latter's cheek, stroking it gently. "Looking at you, it's almost as if I've found her again…" His hands suddenly trailed down to the boy's jeans, unzipping them.
"W-What are you doing!?" demanded the lavender-haired boy, his voice shaking with dread. He still couldn't move around his limbs, and it was beginning to make him feel exasperatingly vulnerable in front of this man. It was almost as if he were a deer being served to a lion on a silver platter.
"If you stay quiet, then I'll finish this quickly, and you can just forget anything ever happened."
"No!" shouted Tsubasa, attempting to head-butt the man's chest, but to no avail. The only thing left to resort to was screaming. So he screamed with all he had.
"Shut up!" growled Misaki, smacking the side of Tsubasa's head and wrapping something around his mouth. "I'd rather keep you untied and conscious, but you're seriously being a problem right now. Sorry, Tsubasa-kun. After I'm done with your body, I'll give you drugs to help you forget all this." This man was clearly wrong in the head somewhere.
Nui Nui, where are you? Somebody? Anybody? Please save me… The lavender-haired boy whimpered as he felt a familiar pricking sensation in his thigh, and all too quickly, his world turned to black.
"That's it!" exclaimed Kazuki in disbelief, while pointing at a large house situated next to Mamori Park and surrounded by cherry blossom trees. "We finally found it!" There were many people outside of the house, on the lawn, drinking or singing or just chatting in general. The entire house was lit up and Kazuki saw even more people inside, since the main entrance was open. Music was blasting throughout the house and the occasional screaming or cheering would have the grey-haired male reflexively shooting his hands up to cover his ears. This was one hell of a party, alright.
"Do we just walk in there?" questioned Hayato, raising his voice to be heard over the din.
"I guess so," replied Kazuki, walking toward the main entrance and trying his best to look casual. "Try not to do anything weird."
"You should be saying that to yourself," retorted Hayato, pouting.
The former ignored him and continued ahead, searching for any recognizable faces. Tsubasa definitely wasn't here. It'd be impossible to miss a purple-haired boy with the height of a tree - even in a crowd this massive. Kazuki pushed through the horde of people impatiently and almost gasped in relief at the sight of a familiar face.
"Azusa Kinose." The words were out of his mouth before they even crossed his mind. Azusa Kinose: purple eyes and jet black hair, a bratty face, a cheeky attitude, and a height similar to that of a girl's. This unforgettable person was definitely one of Tsubasa's friends.
Azusa tilted his head up at the mention of his name, realization crossing over his amethyst eyes. "President?" he exclaimed, his voice carrying a hint of incredulity. "What are you…doing over here?"
Kazuki sighed in relief, running a hand through his hair distractedly. "Can you tell me where Tsubasa is?" he questioned, feeling almost capricious with how anxious he was. "I need to know where he is!"
"Alright, Pres," muttered the black-haired boy, looking slightly taken aback. "He, uh… A blond man called Misaki took him to the backyard a while ago."
"Is there anyone else out back?"
"I don't think so. Everyone's either inside or at the front lawn."
Kazuki almost yelled at the boy in front of him. How could he let a random man take Tsubasa outside, where they would be all alone? "Do you know exactly when he was taken out?" He was seething internally, but tried his best to remain calm.
Azusa's expression became alarmed and he knitted his eyebrows together, asking, "Is there something wrong, President? You're asking so many questions."
"And not getting all the answers," countered Kazuki, taking a step closer to the short male in front of him. "Tell me when he was taken out, Kinose." God, this kid's taking forever to reply… Wish I could just straight out pull the answer out of him.
The black-haired male looked stunned, but finally answered after glancing at the clock. "Maybe…30 minutes ago," he said, fidgeting with his sleeves. "It's been kinda long, I suppose."
Well, shit… Half an hour ago? That's just brilliant. Kazuki clenched his jaw and patted Azusa on the shoulder, mumbling, "Thanks, kid. Nothing's wrong, by the way. So don't get anxious now." He pushed past another unruly crowd of people and was at last able to make it to the back door. He slid the doors open easily and ran outside, searching for any sign of Tsubasa.
Nothing.
Kazuki immediately stepped off the deck and onto the grass, his hawk-like eyes searching for his target. Where is he? Should I call out his name? But what if the man who's hurting him is still here? Many thoughts and questions raced through his head, as he uneasily made his way through the darkness. I can't be a coward at a time like this. Tsubasa needs me… But I need to sneak up on his attacker. …If only I knew where they were at. He almost cursed his luck, when the sight of somebody lying on the ground caught his eye.
And it wasn't just somebody - it was Tsubasa. The grey-haired male could recognize that boy from a hundred miles away. He let out a quick sigh of relief, before running toward Tsubasa and crouching down beside him. "Oh my God…," were the only words to leave his mouth.
Tsubasa was a mess. His hair was tousled, covering most of his face, while his cheeks were notably bruised - even in this dark - along with some dried blood around the corners of his mouth. It seemed as if his jacket and shirt had been ripped open, with his jeans unzipped and almost halfway down his legs. Marks ran across the majority of his torso, and worse was that his hands had been tied around the fence behind him with rope. Somebody had clearly played around with his body, and just by looking at his appearance, it wasn't hard to say in how many different ways. The boy was completely unconscious.
Kazuki could almost feel his blood boil from the blind fury he was experiencing. He wasn't ever going to forgive the man who did this. He grit his teeth in frustration and slammed his fists against the ground, feeling lost in helplessness. I can't believe I didn't get here sooner! I could've saved him from all this…!
A quiet whimper caught the grey-haired male's attention, causing him to jerk his head up in surprise. The boy in front of him was now awake. "Tsubasa…!" he exclaimed, immediately moving to untie his wrists. "Oh, God, what happened? You have to tell me everything!"
But the lavender-haired boy didn't react. Even after his wrists had been untied and his gag removed, he remained motionless.
"Tsubasa?" asked Kazuki quietly, his voice unsure. "Tsubasa, can you hear me? Can you understand what I'm saying?" The boy's eyes were looking into his own, but he made no further movement. "If you can hear and understand what I'm saying, blink twice."
The boy just continued to stare up at him through half-lidded eyes. He wasn't even blinking. Kazuki was going into panic now. Why wasn't Tsubasa responding to anything? Did he somehow lose his hearing temporarily? Was he drugged? Anything could've happened to him in the time that he was here alone with that crazy man. All these thoughts made Kazuki want to puke - out of both disgust and fear.
"Kazuki! What happened?!"
The grey-haired male turned around to find Hayato staring down at the boy in shock. He slowly pulled the lavender-haired boy up into a sitting position and leaned him against the fence. "I don't know..," he answered, shaking his head. "I just found him like this. He…He's not responding to anything I'm saying. He's not even blinking. Oh, God, Hayato, what's wrong with him? What am I going to do? I…I failed in protecting him. I'm such a terrible- -"
"No!" interrupted the redhead, crouching down and holding onto his friend's shoulders. "This is not your fault! And this is not Tsubasa's fault! It's nobody's fault but the crazy animal's who did this to him! And we're going to save our friend, okay? We're going to help him now."
Kazuki just stared at Hayato, nodding like it was the only thing he knew how to do. He turned back to face the lavender-haired boy and cupped his cheeks. "Tsubasa?" he asked again, and was surprised to see the boy stir.
Tsubasa blinked suddenly, his eyes widening. Then he shut them again, as tears began streaming down his cheeks. His arms wrapped around the grey-haired male's neck, pulling him close. His sobs were silent, but inexorable, and every now and then he'd let out a gasp or whimper.
"Shhh, it's okay," whispered Kazuki, holding the boy tightly in his arms. "I'm right here, Tsubasa. We're right here for you. It's okay. We've got you now." As he tried his best to whisper encouraging and reassuring words, the boy only continued to cry harder. He pulled back to examine his face, which looked terrible considering the injuries that it carried.
Tsubasa had finally calmed down and reopened his eyes. "I knew…," he started, his eyes threatening to let out more tears. "I knew you were going to come for me…" He laid his head on the older male's shoulder, still not removing his arms from around his neck.
"I would never ignore a friend in need," said Kazuki, stroking bangs of hair out of the boy's face. His hair clip is missing… No wonder he looks so different.
"Tell us what happened," said Hayato's voice suddenly, breaking the silence.
"Sora Sora…," mumbled the lavender-haired boy, smiling faintly. "Sorry, I would hug you, too, but…I…"
"What is it?"
"I can't move my lower body."
"What?!" exclaimed Kazuki, his voice reaching a crescendo. He instantly apologized for his loudness, then looked Tsubasa solemnly in the eye. "What did that man do to you?" He glanced down at the boy's lap. Nothing really seemed wrong with it… Except for the fact that his jeans had been pulled down to expose almost the entirety of his legs, and his boxers were just above his knees. Kazuki's eyes suddenly widened with horror and realization. Oh, God… F*ck no. There's no way he would do that. He…He couldn't have…could he? He looked up at the boy's face alarmingly, searching for answer.
Tsubasa frowned deeply, shivering. "N-Nothing," he whimpered, then pulled his boxers up all the way, along with his jeans, before zipping them closed. "I want to go back home."
"What did he do to you?"
"I don't want to talk about t- -"
"We need to know!" yelled Kazuki, anger suddenly taking over him. He wasn't directing it at the lavender-haired boy, but it sure seemed like that. He mentally cursed himself for acting so immature. "Sorry about that. I just- -"
Hayato gently pushed Kazuki a bit and placed his hands on Tsubasa's shoulders, staring into his eyes. "Tsubasa, listen to me," he said, and as expected, the boy looked up at him. "We need you to tell us what you remember, alright? If that man did anything bad to you, we need to know. We're just trying to help you, okay? You do know that, right?"
"O-Of course," croaked Tsubasa, his voice breaking. He cast his eyes to the ground. "That man, he… I remember that he had drugged me, twice. The first time he did it, I was still inside the house. But the drugs paralyzed my legs and I couldn't use them anymore… He took me out here and went to look for rope, so that's when I…called you guys. But he snatched the phone away and tied me up against this fence. And after that…"
"After that…?" asked Hayato, his voice sweet but cautious.
"He began talking about how he used to be in love with my mom and that he wanted to kill me because I looked like her… But then he started to…" The lavender-haired boy took a deep breath. "He started to touch me all over and kiss me and…then he drugged me again. I was unconscious for the majority of the time, but when I woke up, I was stomach-first on the floor and…inside me…from behind, he was… Oh, God, I can't! Please don't make me remember!" Tsubasa burst into uncontrollable tears, burying his face in his hands. "I was so scared! I was so afraid of him! It-It hurt so much! It was so disgusting…! But he was…he was laughing the whole time! He was enjoying it! He was actually enjoying doing something like that- -"
"That's enough," whispered Kazuki, pulling the lavender-haired boy's head to his chest. "That's enough now, Tsubasa. You can cry to your heart's content…and even though no amount of tears is going to stop the pain, you can continue to cry." He kissed the boy's forehead, slowly rocking him from side to side. "I'm going to find the monster that did this to you, Tsubasa."
And kill him.
Another cliffhanger, you say? Sorry about that, yo. XD But now I probably won't upload for a while, so y'all are gonna have to deal with it. ;D ... Just kidding. I'll try my best to type and upload as fast as I can! Thanks for all the reviews, you guys! They seriously make me happy!~! /)/(\
And I'm saying this again, just in case no one got it the first time: this story is NOT going to have a happy gay fairytale ending, you guys. So don't keep your hopes up. D': I'm sorry... Until next time!
