Hi, peeps!
So back to updating this. So...right now apparently...school's closed for them? Not exactly what I had in mind for that chapter, but I can live if it. It just gets the plot more worked up because now IA and Luka have more time to find out what happened to Miku. Hee hee hee hee. Even I don't know what kind of hell will spring up. Only time will tell.
I'm scared about what is going to happen. As far as I'm aware, it get more and more hectic by the second.
"Another couple died today...and that was all the way by the border of Mongol and China. How could she have travelled that far in just a few hours?" Luka put the remote down, "It gets even crazier."
I nod, " What's even worse is that we have no clue where Miku went."
"Good point," Luka sighs and fixes her bun casually, "I'm tired of this nonsense."
It is quiet for a long period of time until Luka said, "I hear that they are planning on breaking the record for the world's tallest building."
"Really," I'm glad for the change of subject, "Where is it being built?"
"I'm not sure how this works, but apparently you can access it from almost any country in the world. So it has like millions legs or bases," Luka tries to explain, "It's really confusing."
I try to digest the idea, "So we can access it?"
"Yeah, the leg here has just been built. Many people believe that the actual building part is going to begin soon."
"That's cool," I say, but then a thought enters my mind, "Wait...who is building this?"
"No idea, maybe-" Luka begins, but then she is interrupted by a breaking news headline on the TV.
"Breaking news," the reporter says calmly, "3 other couples have just been killed. However there was a witness to their death. According to the witness, the murderer was a girl wearing a black mask. She was about 5 feet tall and has long teal hair wore into pigtails. Here is a police sketch based off the witness's description."
They flash a picture and both of our jaws drop. There's no doubt about it, it's Miku.
"Holy tuna sandwich," Luka gasps, "So, it WAS Miku all along.
I feel rather uncomfortable, "She's killing people, but all the people on the headlines...they're people that are married, dating, or engaged. Why though?"
Luka shrugs, "Beats me. Man, I'm glad I dumped Gackupo a few weeks ago."
"I'm glad I never dated anyone yet," I say. Then I stand up, "I'm going to look something up."
"Alright, you do that," Luka flips through the channels, "I'm going to look for more in depth detail of what is going on."
I head up stairs and open my laptop. Carefully I type in "world's new tallest building".
In less than 0.35 seconds, I got 48 million results. I clicked the first link and scrolled down the page. There was plenty of interesting information on things I never knew, but this was old news, I guess I was just too focused on my friend. Then, something catches my eye.
"Built by Koi Sensou...what?" I'm confused, so I read on. It says nothing else about the company until there is a picture of the work site. There is a bunch of cranes and other machinery, but the thing that catches my eye is the blurry truck in the background. You can't even see who is driving it, but the logo on the side is recognizable.
"The heart with wings thing..." I mutter, "What could it mean?"
I continue to scroll down the page hoping that there was more, but I had reached the end. Never the less, the article proved my worst suspicions. I close my eyes and answer the many questions I had.
Was this building connected to the megaphone I had? Yes.
Did the company creating this building make my megaphone? Possibly.
Is the disappearance of Miku and her family connected to this? Most likely.
Was this building how Miku could travel so fast? Not sure, but it definitely seems like it.
Is Koi Sensou run by Miku? I can't tell, but by the way things are looking, probably.
I lean back and sigh. So what now? I will obviously talk to Luka about it and we probably would have to investigate. Tomorrow would work, there is no school anyway.
"Okay, that's done. What now?" I ask myself. Not being able to answer my question, I just play computer games the rest of the day.
I'm sorry for the shorter chapter. It's just that I don't want to cram a lot of stuff in one chapter, because if I do that, I won't be able to decide what happens next.
Oh, wait, one question. So I have an iPad mini. It's jailbroken and is IOS 6. So I downloaded this app called Defense Witches because I really liked the character designs. However, some witches weren't available to me so I decided to cheat on it. Locallappstore and iappcracker weren't working so I went online to look for answers. One of them said to download something and replace the data of the app with the downloaded item. I did this, but I went inside the data folder and placed it inside crystal.
It still didn't work, but not only that, every time I try to download something, my ipad mini goes into safe mode. So then I deleted the app and app data. But the problem still isn't solved. So then I redownloaded Defense Witches and redeleted the file, but it still doesn't work.
I have no idea what's wrong, Ifile or Safari Download Manager or something else. I'm wondering if there is a way to solve this problems besides restoring it to the last backup date or something like that. I heard its not good to used cracked apps, Ifile is cracked, but I'm not sure if it has to with anything. I also tried deleting Ifile and Safari Download Manager, but it still doesn't work.
If you can't find a way to help me, I guess I'll reset it to last backup date.
Anyways, review, review, and review!
