Sunflower Diary, Page VII: Sakuya's Passed Away
Sakuya's illness has taken a turn for its worse and she hadn't much long to live. I must write I told her everything she will have wanted to hear, as I couldn't allow myself to crush her dreams again. She seemed to be at peace, for once, during this chaotic time and her illness and it was almost as if she had gone to sleep. As she was dying, I must write, I cannot help but to wonder if she knew she was dying and was hiding it or was in denial about it. Either way, she went in peace.
Peace. Hmm, that is a funny word, seeing as our lives were barely peaceful and the only sort of peace I've seen was in death, like Sakuya's. I suppose if we are to suffer then we shall die in peace and go to a better place, where there will always be peace.
On that note, I do hope Sakuya says hello to the others of SDM for me.
