Epilogue

Cadwyn Snape watched with tear filled eyes as Lilliana and Cayden entered the Great Hall for the sorting ceremony. She couldn't believe how much time had passed since the fall of the Dark Lord. She also couldn't believe how much her babies had grown. A strong arm wrapped around her shoulders and pulled her close to a firm chest. She smiled up at Severus through her tears and together their free hands came to rest on her distended stomach.

Any day now she and Severus were expecting the arrival of their fourth child. 5 years prior to today Cadwyn had given birth to a very mischievous little girl they had named Severna Selene Snape. She was the apple of her mother's eye and a perfect replica of Severus. Thankfully Draco had offered to have Severna over for a play date with Scorpius the day of the ceremony so the couple wouldn't be distracted.

Severus was thankful for his family every day, and spent the four years leading up to Severna's birth doing everything he could to make up for all the wrong he'd done to Cadwyn. He couldn't believe he deserved her and fought a battle with jealousy for those 4 years. But something changed the day she brought their beautiful little girl in the world.

Maybe it was seeing her bare that pain to bring a part of him to life, even he wasn't quite sure. But that day he knew for sure she loved him and wasn't going anywhere. Then his jealous love turned into a more tender love. The last five years had been the most pleasurable they had both experienced in their whole lives.

The "twins" had grown to be more beautiful and handsome respectfully with each year, and resembled each other so closely that no one doubted their lineage. Only Cadwyn and now Severus knew that Lilliana was not biologically Cadwyn's. A fact that had completely shocked her father who thought she was a perfect replica of Cadwyn.

The Snape's were highly revered in the Wizarding World, the headlines ran recanting their past slanders against the daughter of the Dark Lord and began to sing her praises, along with her husband who definitely deserved the recognition.

Cadwyn squeezed herself closer to Severus as she watched her son walk confidently to the stool where Minerva placed the sorting hat upon his head. "GRYIFFINDOR!" reverberated off the wall and Severus gave a good natured sigh. "A lion like his mother." He kissed her temple softly as Lilliana anxiously made her way to the stool. She looked to Cadwyn for some encouragement before she sat on the stool. "I'll bet you 20 galleons she's a Slytherin like her old man." Cadwyn swatted her husband playfully. "You're on old man. My little girl is a Ravenclaw all the way."

The hat certainly took it's time before chiming out "RAVENCLAW!" Quite zealously. Cadwyn stuck her tongue out playfully at her husband who only shook his head. She held out her hand and he leaned down to whisper in her ear, "I'm a little short, perhaps we could work out another way for me to repay you…"

She shivered and looked up at him with the flames of desire dancing in her eyes, "I might find that amendable."

At that time, their youngest daughter Cassandra Claire decided to remind them about her presence as she began kicking Cadwyn fiercely where hers and Severus' hands rested.

They smiled at each other, their hearts warm. They marveled at the happiness they had both found. Not caring who was watching Severus took Cadwyn's mouth in a very passionate kiss, all was well.
