Two-Sided Triangle
"Gantu, the virus is hitting on me."
"That's impossible, it's trapped in your phone." Gantu pressed a few buttons on the keyboard, reading numbers as they flickered across the screen.
"No, I'm serious." Chevelle tugged at his pant leg. "It's sending me flirty texts. Here's one: I'd reroute your transformer any day. What does that even mean?"
"Give me the phone." She handed it to Gantu, who placed it on a scanner. The phone lit up as the virus was sucked out and dropped into a case.
"Wow, you didn't crush it with those big ol' hands!"
"I could very easily crush you, you know." Chevelle climbed onto his shoulder and sat down.
"The interesting thing about could," she smiled and patted the side of his head, "Is that it gives a possibility but doesn't make any promises."
"Get off of me."
"I could, couldn't I?" Gantu grimaced. "I could poke your eye, too."
"Don't you have any friends?"
"I could make some, or I could just sit here." She leaned against his head and grinned wider. "I could just sit here and be a parrot."
"You could die horribly by a misfire from my plasma cannon." Gantu caught her trying to stifle a grin as he stood up.
"I could hold up a mirror to the blast and leave you without pants again." He cringed.
"That was one time!"
"I know, I know. Nice briefs, by the way." Gantu didn't say a word as he plucked Chevelle off of his shoulder and set her on the ground.
"I told you it was laundry day."
"How can it have been laundry day? You only own one outfit!" Chevelle gestured to the uniform. "Unless you have some giant shark-whale tuxedo or something you keep hidden in the roof of this ship."
"I could be." Another stifled laugh, and Gantu grinned. Another point for him.
"…Wait," Chevelle looked at him, "are you?"
"No." He glanced at his watch. "There's another virus loose near the beach." He quickly grabbed another glass capsule. "Bring your phone, it's been surprisingly useful."
"You got it, Sharky." Chevelle followed him out of the ship, hands in her coat pockets. "I couldn't see you in a tuxedo anyway."
"It's a three-piece."
"Wait, what?"
