The team base-two months after Mia had gone to train.
It's been two months since Mia left to team have been going on missions but it hasn't been the same since Mia left.
The team
'ugh! I can't sit here any longer! I'm going to go find her!' Superboy said getting up from the sofa, storming up and down the living room, heading towards the ground bridge.
'Superboy! No! What if she walks right through that door right now? Right when we have gone searching?' Robin said running to stop Superboy.
Just then the computer activated.
'Mia Cardorra, ID 60551' computer said in its computerized voice.
Just them Mia walked into the front room, hood down and grinning from ear to ear. She looked skinny. Too skinny for her own good.
'Mia!' Aqua-lad exclaimed, running towards her, he grabbed her hands and held them there for awhile.
'Hey' she said, out of breath.
That was all she managed to say, before fainting in aqualads arms. He placed her in his arms and carried in his arms to her room.

After I had placed her on her bed. I healed her and placed her duvet on top on her. I slowly stood up, then stood still. I felt like there was someone there, that the shadow was moving... I turned around and it had gone.
I walked out the door and saw the worried looks on everyone's faces. I turned around and this time i saw a shadow person stood next to Mia's door.
'Who are you?' I said, leaning towards the shadow figure that was in front of me.
'I am Mia's sister. I have a curse placed on me to be a shadow person' the shadow said, looking at us directly in our eyes. She didn't look to be lying.
'You're Mia's sister? Then how come we haven't seen you before?' I said, looking away from her gaze. It was somewhat unsettling.
'I didn't show up because I didn't want Mia to be over whelmed by the amount of memories that would come to her if she had seen me before. So I waited till she remembered me herself' the shadow said, standing still against the wall.
'Are you the devil she is controlled by?' Robin asked, everyone went tense, the room went completely silent.
'no, she thinks she's controlled by a devil and made a contract with one but that is not the case. She just has powers that she can not control quite yet' the shadow replied.
'Does she know this herself?' Batman asked, raising his eyebrow.
'I do now' Mia's voice echoed from her room. She walked out from the door way and walked over to the kitchen.
She took out the cookie jar from the top cupboard and shut the door. She put her hand in the jar for a while then looked confused as she fiddled around the jar.
After a couple more minuets she finds one and places a cookies on the counter and puts the jar back into the cupboard, then picks up the cookie and takes a bite out of it. However shortly afterwards she threw up in the sink.
'God Dammit' Mia said, grabbing a piece of kitchen roll and cleaned herself up.
'Mia you ok?' artemis exclaimed, walking towards her.
'yeah, I'm fine. Just can't seem to keep any food down' Mia replied, raising her hand at artemis , she walked back for awhile.
She walked over to the sofa and laid down. She placed her hood over her eyes and fell asleep a couple of minuets later.
'Is there anything thing we can do to for her?' I said looking at her with concern.
'You can try to give her soups or something that's liquid. Not that she'll take it, she's stubborn like that' the shadow replied giggling.
'why was she wearing her hood down?' Batman asked. Why does he need to know? I thought.
'She has somewhat learnt how to control her powers and her curse. However they may be tines where she cannot, she doesn't mean to though' the shadow simply said, then added 'as I said before she has been training to I improve so she may join the team'
'We know' Megan said smiling and shadow Mia smiled back into Mia's shadow.
I went into her room once more and brought in her favorite blanket and placed it on top of her. She stirred slightly.
'Zzzzz...thanks...zzzz' Mia said in her sleep.
'I guess we should all get some sleep' robin said heading towards his room. Everyone nodded.
'I'm going to sleep here. I'll keep watch' I said. I wanted to make sure she was okay.
Everyone looked at each other, muttered something unaudible and walked into their rooms. I sat down into the arm chair next to Mia and fell asleep five minuets later.
Mia
I woke up from my nap. I looked around me and got confused. I didn't recognize where I was until I remembered that I fell asleep on the sofa. In the murky darkness I saw Aqua-lad asleep on the armchair next to me.
I got up slowly, trying not to wake him up. Just as I got up though the sofa creaked quietly. His eyes opened and he looked at me and smiled.
'Hey' he said, smiling more. He looked at me for a while and closed his eyes again.
'Sorry, didn't mean to wake you up' I said looking down at the floor, shuffling my feet.
'Don't worry, I know' he said not opening his eyes. 'Want something to eat?' He added. Just as he said that, my stomach growled, quite loudly too.
'That would be a yes' he said laughing as he got up. He walked over to the kitchen and looked in the cupboards. He then opened a tin of tomato soup and put it in the microwave.
The microwave dinged and he took the bowl out. He passed the bowl to me, I went to take it and my hand recoiled back.
'Careful it will be hot' he said 'here let me' he added and picked up the spoon and spoon fed me soup. After a while he handed me the bowl again and this time the bowl wasn't that hot. Aqualad sat next to me on the sofa and lent back, He closed his eyes.
'Aqua-lad?' I whispered, looking at him.
'Hmmm?' He replied, still having his eyes closed.
'Thanks for the soup' I said watching his chest rise and fall. Making sure he's not asleep.
'Your welcome. At least you got some food in you' he said opening his eyes, gazing into mine. I looked away slowly. 'Yea' I replied.
As I was about to get up to put the bowl away, Aqua- lad got up too. I put the bowl in the dishwasher and took out the chocolate milk that was in the fridge and poured a glass.
I glugged the milk down and it was nice. I hadn't drunk anything since I came back, so it was good to know that it stayed down.
'Mia' he said, gently touching my cheek with his hands. I stood completely still. 'Yeah?' I replied.
'Can I ask you question?' He said, taking away his hand. He took a small step back.
'Yeah sure, fire away' I said in a shaky voice. I'm worried, what was that all about and what is how question?
'Would you like to go out with me?' He said, looking away. He blushed heavily, I was shocked, no one has ever asked me that before. I didn't reply.
'Sorry, bit soon I guess' he said looking down at the counter. Blushing some more.
'No, its just a little sudden that's all' I said, shuffling my feet again. I do this when I'm nervous or shy. I shuffle.
'Sorry' he said, scratching his head. 'Nah, its fine' I replied, smiling at him. He smiled back.
We then stood closer to each other, he put his hands on my neck and I did the same. We then... We then kissed.
It was strange. This was the first time that I had kissed anyone. The weird thing was that it felt good. It felt right. After a couple of minuets of kissing, I pushed gently on his chest and he stepped back.
We both stood in silence for a few minuets. I walked over to my room, I heard a 'sorry' coming from the other side of the room, I replied with a hand up gesture saying 'its okay'
I walked into my room and face planted my pillow. My shadow self came out of my own shadow and raised a eyebrow. I was too tired to object so I let it pass.
'So you and Aqua-lad huh?' She said sitting on the edge of my bed. 'Yeah' I replied. Still got my face in my pillow.
'Yeah? Is that all you have to say? Yeah?' She said,
Looking at me with uncertainty in her eyes. 'Yeah' I replied again.
'I was kinda hoping you would explain' she sighed. Looking at the bedroom wall, at the numerous posters that I had acquired.
I turned around to lay on my back and replied 'what is there to explain? I like him, he likes me'
'You do realize that it could break your curse?' She said, looking at me, with a worried expression on her face.
'Yeah possibly' I replied, closing my eyes. I felt tired, kissing him made me exhausted.
'Do you love him?' She replied, walking to the door and watching Aqua lad through the crack.
'I guess so. I've never felt this feeling before. All warm an fuzzy' I replied sitting upright, leaning against my bedroom wall.
'You are so difficult sometimes!' She said angrily. She stormed to the other side of the room and sat crossed legged.
'I'm sorry, but can we please talk about this some other time? I'm exhausted and I want to sleep' I said, covering my face up with the duvet. 'Your worried aren't you?' I added
'Sorry I didn't know that's how you felt and yes. I am worried, I don't want you to get hurt' my sis replied. She floated over once more and sat on the windowsill.
'Hey, I forgot to ask, what's your real name? I didn't remember that part' I asked, looking at her, wondering whether she'll answer. Then I saw a huge smile come across her face, I smiled too.
'Its Skye' she said, hovering over me. She then went back to the windowsill.
'Skye... That's a pretty name. I wonder how our parents are doing?' I said getting out of bed and looking out the window at the stars.
'Yes, me too' she replied, looking outside the window. A shooting star came across and we both made our wish.
I go it back into bed and asked 'Skye, how would I break your curse?' I said looking at her.
'I don't actually know' she frowned, she went back to the window and watched the stars.
'Oh...' I replied, yawning. I fell asleep shortly after I said that but I was somewhat conscious. I felt my duvet being placed on top of me. I presumed Aqua-lad had come in, could Skye physically move stuff?
I woke up to a bright and sunny day. I quickly got dressed and smiled at Skye who was sat on the arm chair that was in the corner. She smiled back and went into my shadow.
There was a loud knock on the door. A loud shout came from the other side.
'Come on Mia! You awake yet?' Lara's voice came from the other side of the door.
'Yeah! Give me a minuet!' I said but it wasn't my voice. It was a deep husky voice. I looked down and my tattoos had grown to my entire top half of my body.
