Natsu Dragneel: And where have you been? It has been super long since you updated this story!
Christopher Dragkrow: Well sorry, I was busy.
Natsu Dragneel: Busy being lazy?
Christopher Dragkrow: Hey! I have been busy with something, which is none of your business.
Natsu Dragneel: Exactly being lazy

Chapter 7: Love?
Previously on The Next King of Fiore:
Normal POV
"Oh and by the way Natsu" Eara called out as Natsu turned to her.
"Love is a mysterious thing, it doesn't matter who you are, as long as you keep strong feelings for that person, it's worth fighting for it" Eara said as she exited the room, leaving a confused Natsu behind.
Normal POV
Natsu couldn't believe it, he was facing the toughest opponent in his life!
From Jellal to Acnologia, he had never faced an enemy that he would not be able to fight and still lose!
His enemy was: boredom.
After his encounter with Kiyan and Eara, Natsu was feeling extremely bored out of his mind.
He had nothing to do anymore. Or at least he thinks he has nothing to do anymore.
He didn't feel like looking around the castle because he would be followed by the guards of the castle, whom he assumes, doesn't trust him at all and are making sure that he doesn't destroy anything in the castle or steal the king's crown again.
Now that he thought about it, it was probably the latter.
But the reason still stands that the Fire Dragon Slayer was bored and he needed something to do, fast. Otherwise, he would lose the battle and Natsu does not give up.
No matter what, he wouldn't give in to the feeling!
He would fight it until the end of time!
Just then his stomach growled loudly.
Until he was hungry again.
Natsu then groaned and looked at the clock. The clock read 3.45 P.M.
Natsu then groaned internally in his mind. There was no way he would be able to survive this long without food AND entertainment. It was just impossible!
'Why must you hate me so?!' Natsu cried internally as he got on his knees and comical tears fell from his face.
"Natsu? What are you doing?" a voice asked as Natsu turned to the side and saw Hisui at the door, a confused look on her face.
"Oh hey there Hisui" Natsu said, getting up and acting like nothing happened.
"What are you doing here?" Hisui asked curiously.
"Well I just came here to avoid the guards but then I fought Kiyan and met with his girlfriend, Eara." Natsu responded the jade haired princess.
"I see, well are you hungry? Cause there's some food at the kitchen" Hisui asked and Natsu's eyes shined.
"There's food? Alright, let's go!" Natsu said cheerfully as he held Hisui's hand in his and he started making a run towards the kitchen, while holding Hisui's hand, whom was blushing at the contact.
"Natsu, you're going way too fast!" Hisui complained as she was forced to run with the Dragon Slayer as she sighed but that was before a small smile crawled up her face.
Eara then watched as Natsu and Hisui ran past hers and Kiyan's room as a small smile was present on her face.
"Ah I can feel the bonds between the two already" Eara said as strong and warm arms hugged her from behind. Eara smiled at the contact and leaned back to lie on Kiyan's shoulder.
"Who are you talking about?" Kiyan asked curiously.
"The princess and Natsu" Eara said and Kiyan immediately scoffed at the mention of the pink haired mage that definitely was a good fighter, but also an idiot.
He had Kiyan's respect for that but that doesn't mean the silver haired fighter had to like him.
"I'm shocked the princess hasn't called the guards on him yet" Kiyan said with a bored look on his face.
"Well if I remember, someone killed the guards that were guarding me, just to get me" Eara said, reminding Kiyan of his past as the silver haired male looked away, although his face didn't show it, a small tint of red dusted on his cheeks.
"Don't compare me with that fool" Kiyan said softly as Eara giggled, knowing that Kiyan was embarrassed, before she then kissed his cheek.
"Don't worry Kiyan, I will be with you for as long as you are alive. I will stay by your side even if we were to be apart from one another." Eara said to her lover as she closed her eyes, and she was not able to see the soft smile that was present on Kiyan's face as he hugged her tighter and moved her closer towards him.
With Natsu
Natsu was still pulling the jade haired princess through the fancy hall room, with Princess Hisui following him, since her hand was in captive by his of course.
"Alright we're here!" Natsu cheered and he immediately drooled at the sight of the cooked meat, freshly baked cupcakes and more delicious treats on the table.
"Alright, time to dig in!" Natsu cheered and he was about to jump towards the food when an armoured hand grabbed onto the back of his shirt.
"Ah good timing Natsu, I was just about to get the guards to call you"
Natsu then turned to see none other than Arcadios with a smirk on his face as he placed the very familiar machine on Natsu's head.
"It's time for practise again" Arcadios said and Natsu had comical tears falling from his eyes.
'When will this torture end?!' Natsu kneeled down and those comical tears fell like a waterfall as everyone sweat dropped at that sight of the hero of Fiore, crying like a little child that didn't get what he want.
"Natsu, if you managed to do this right then you'll be able to eat all of the food you want" Hisui said, standing beside the pink haired Dragon Slayer who sighed and looked at her with a smile.
"If that's the case then I'll do it for sure!" Natsu said and Hisui blushed and attempted to look away while Arcadios smirked.
'I knew he was quite popular with the ladies but to attract Princess Hisui? This will be interesting after all' Arcadios thought to himself.
"Alright let us begin" Arcadios called out and soon the practise had begun.
A few minutes later
"Ugh, I'm so tired" Natsu said as he rested his head on the dining table, he was sweating and everyone around him sweat dropped.
All he was doing was trying to eat his food in a proper manner and not like a barbarian.
But considering the fact that he was raised in the wild and not in any normal society when he was young, he was more accustomed to eating like he always did.
"Alright well, let me call the king along with Kiyan and Eara" Arcadios said with a bow before he left to call the other three people in the castle.
Natsu then raised his head and took off the machine on his head and his mouth drooled at the sight of the food.
"It's finally time to eat!" Natsu cheered as he started eating all the food that he could fit in his mouth as everyone was in awe at the sight.
How the Dragon Slayer could have done that was beyond them.
Hisui, on the other hand, just giggled at the sight. She was happy that there was finally some entertainment in the castle. It was rather boring for the jade haired princess and she was glad that the handsome Dragon Slayer could provide entertainment.
Hisui then blushed when she thought that. Handsome? Did she just call Natsu, handsome?
Hisui couldn't stop herself from looking at Natsu's cheery face as he had begun an eating contest with some of the guards while Kiyan glared at him for making such a mess while Eara giggled at the sight.
'I guess this mission could have been a fortunate thing for me' Hisui thought to herself.
Just then a pie then struck the princess's face and the room turned deadly silent.
Everyone turned to the perpetrator and saw none other than Natsu Dragneel who had his arms raised a look of nervousness on his face as he began sweating.
"Good job, idiot" Kiyan mumbled as he took a bite of his food.
The pie then fell from the princess face and no one knew what she was feeling right now.
She slowly walked towards Natsu who was sweating profusely.
"Natsu" Hisui's voice was a bit too sweet for his liking.
"Y-yes?" Natsu asked and before he knew a cake was smashed to his face and Hisui started giggling.
Natsu watched in shock, no, in fact everyone was staring in shock.
They never expected Hisui, the princess of Fiore, of all people to have done that.
And at that moment Natsu smirked.
"You're going to regret that" Natsu said in a teasing voice and Hisui looked at him innocently.
"I have no idea what you're talking about" Hisui said looking at him adorably and Natsu blushed when he saw that and looked away.
How she still looked so beautiful even when she was covered in cream was beyond him.
"Well I know one thing" Natsu smirked and he stood on the table, a handful of food in his hands.
"FOOD FIGHT!" And with that Natsu threw the food at an unsuspecting Kiyan who fell to the ground with food covering him.
Kiyan glared at the pinkette who was laughing at him, and it only made the silver haired assassin more embarrassed when Eara also giggled at him.
"You'll pay for that!" and with that Kiyan stepped on his plate sending it flying into the air and kicked it at Natsu's direction, causing all of the food on the plate to fall on Natsu.
Natsu then glared at Kiyan before he smirked.
"Ready for Round 2?" Natsu asked and Kiyan smirked as well.
"I thought you'd never ask"
And with that Natsu and Kiyan started their attack on one another with food, causing the entire dining room to be filled with cream, pastries and some stains on the walls as well.
But, to the king it didn't really matter. As long as everyone had fun and had smiled on their faces it was fine. It was also one of the few times he had seen his daughter so happy. So of course he wouldn't mind it!
However the cleaners of the castle was certainly not going to have any wink of sleep after witnessing the mess they had created.
The Next Day
Natsu then yawned as he got out of the bed he was given by the king.
"That was so much fun yesterday, it was almost like being in Fairy Tail again" Natsu said to himself with a smile as he then headed for the shower in his room.
Natsu then wore the clothes he brought from Fairy Tail and he then started walking around the castle to the dining room.
'I hope that guy, Kiyan is there' Natsu thought, smirking to himself when he thought of his new rival.
'He's really strong and I hope to take him on again' Natsu thought and he saw none other than Hisui coming out from her room.
"Hey there Hisui!" Natsu greeted the princess who smiled at him.
"Hello there Natsu" Hisui greeted in return as the two began walking to the dining room together.
"Yesterday was really fun, Natsu" Hisui said and Natsu placed two hands behind his head.
"It sure was! If only I could have kicked Kiyan's butt" Natsu grumbled and Hisui giggled.
"Kiyan is one of the strongest from where he came from, if not the strongest. I'm sure he's never faced someone like you before" Hisui commented and Natsu felt proud at that.
"Of course, there's only one Natsu Dragneel in the world!" Natsu said proudly and Hisui giggled.
"You're really interesting, Natsu" Hisui giggled and Natsu rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Thanks" Natsu said and Hisui smiled at him and Natsu felt a blush crept up his face as he stared at the beautiful princess.
"Well shall we head to the dining room before Arcadios starts your practise?" Hisui asked, oblivious to Natsu's blush as she started walking towards the dining room while Natsu still stood there, the blush staying on his face.
'Why is my heart beating like this? Why am I feeling warm?' Natsu thought as the smile on Hisui's face stayed in his mind and Eara's words suddenly rung in his head.
"Love is a mysterious thing, it doesn't matter who you are, as long as you keep strong feelings for that person, it's worth fighting for it"
'Am I starting to fall in love? With Hisui?'
