Chapter 6: NOT Happy

LAST TIME:

"No, Lady Kagome, we want to prevent the war, not start it," Myoga said. "Besides, the Demon Lord of the North is the father of Kouga-sama. He is only doing this because Kouga has claimed you as his woman."

"HE WHAT!" yelled Yusuke.

"Gee, thanks Myoga," Kagome said sarcastically.

"Terribly sorry," Myoga apologized. Kagome flicked him away.

NOW

Kagome was NOT happy. She stood at Sesshomaru's study door with Miroku, Sango, Kilala—who was perched on Sango's shoulder—Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara, Shizuru and Yukina. Shippo and Botan were also there, one standing behind her and the other sitting atop her shoulder. She opened the door to see Kouga and an older version of Kouga sitting across from Sesshomaru.

"Kagome!" exclaimed Kouga as he jumped to his feet and tried to grab her hands. Kagome, however, moved out of the way making him fall to the ground.

"What are you doing here, Kouga?" She asks with a forced smile.

"To get you, of course," he answered. "You are MY woman, after all."

"No. My cousin isn't anyone's woman—"

"This is none of your business, human," Kouga snarled.

"Oh yeah—"

"Yusuke, I can handle it." Kagome hissed, growing more annoyed by the minute.

Yusuke looked away, "Tch, fine."

Kagome turned to Kouga's Father and bowed in respect. "Please forgive us, Lord, but I must teach your son what NO means."

Kagome stood roughly twenty feet away from Kouga in the training grounds; her hands open in front of her. (1) Kouga stood there with his arms crossed and a smug look on his face.

Kagome launched herself at Kouga. Kouga dodged the initial attack and grabbing her by the arms, he threw her across the Coliseum-like arena.

Kagome crashed through one of the columns and smashed into the wall separating the stone seats from the grounds. Luckily, no one was sitting by that wall.

"I will not fight you, Kagome," Kouga says. "You're going to lose."

"Like hell I'll lose, Kouga!" Kagome grunts as she stood back up on her feet. Kagome ran at Kouga. As soon as she was close, she pulled back her arm ready to punch. Kouga gets ready to block, but at the last minute she slid under him then kicked his feet out from under making him fall flat on his face.

Off to the side, InuYasha started to laugh. Kouga jumps up forgetting about Kagome and gets in Inuyasha's face.

"That was no funny you stupid mutt!"

"It was too; you flea bitten wolf!"

Kagome comes up behind Kouga. From the twitching of her right eyebrow it was known she wasn't very happy with Kouga.

"InuYasha… sit." InuYasha hits the ground and Kagome kicks Kouga in the back.

"You should be fighting me, idiot!"

"Tch... Fine, but don't expect me to go easy on you even though you are going to be my mate." Kouga ran straight for Kagome, sending a flurry of punches in which Kagome dodges each one. She then kicked him in the chest making him stumble backwards.

"I will not be your mate!" Kagome performed a roundhouse kick surrounded by fire making him fly into the wall. She then unsheathed her sword Gin'iro ni kagayaku tsuki (2) and points it to Kouga's neck.

"Do you yield Kouga?" Kagome asks.

Kouga sighs, "Yes, I yield."

Kagome sheathed her blade before walking off.
