After a while, lunch was finally over. Len walked out of the cafeteria with his ear buds in. He was humming along to "First of The Year (Equinox)" when someone tapped on his shoulder. Len turned his head to see a tall, teal haired boy. "Oh, hey, Mikuo."
"Hey, dude. Have you seen my sister anywhere?" Mikuo asked.
"No. Why?"
"She owes me five bucks. She stole money out of my wallet this morning." Mikuo said, frowning a bit.
"Well, good luck finding her."
"Wait, I think I see her. I'll catch up with you later, dude. See ya!" Mikuo called, running away.
"See ya!" Len called back. He continued to walk, humming the song that had just come on.
"You know you're going to have to sing in front of the class for Chorus, right?"
"Hm?" Yumi looked at the blonde haired girl. The next two classes she had were with Lenka. Gumi and Cul had different classes. At least Yumi will have time to get to know Lenka.
"Since you're new, Ms. Megurine will have you sing in front of the class to see how well you sing."
"Oh no. Not that again…" Yumi mumbled.
"What's wrong?"
"I already sang in front of people in homeroom this morning. Word about that has spread like wildfire today." Yumi sighed.
"So you're the one I've heard people talking about? The girl who sang Trick and Treat perfectly?"
"Pretty much. Yeah."
"Oh, cool! Now I'm really excited to hear you sing!"
Yumi groaned. Lenka laughed. They made it to the classroom right before the bell rang. Lenka had Yumi sit next to her so Yumi wouldn't have to sit all alone. In the corner of her eye, Yumi could see Miku and her gang sitting on the other side of the room. She also saw Len sitting there too.
Lenka followed Yumi's gaze and saw who Yumi was looking at. I'm guessing Yumi already had a run in with Little Miss Spoiled and her group. Lenka sighed softly. The bell rang, cutting off Lenka's thoughts.
The teacher walked in. The teacher was a pretty female with long pink hair. She wore a long blue dress, heels, and a gemstone necklace. "Hello, class!" Yumi was surprised at how kind the teacher's voice was.
"Hello, Ms. Megurine!" The class answered back.
"Today we will be learning about the different types of music, but first we shall listen to our new student sing for us. Yumi?"
Yumi hesitated but finally stood up and walked over to the teacher. Her stomach was all in knots.
"Now, what song will it be?" Ms. Megurine asked.
"J-Jitter Doll." Yumi answered, cursing inside her head for stuttering.
"Very well! Now, let me get the music set up. Could you face the class please?"
Yumi slowly turned towards the class. She tried not to make eye contact with anyone, especially Miku and her gang. Yumi looked over at Lenka. Lenka smiled and gave her a "good luck" thumbs up. Yumi smiled back. She heard the music start, took a deep breath, and began to sing.

Yumi finished with a small bow. To her surprise, everyone started clapping and cheering for her. Lenka cheered the loudest. Yumi smiled and sat back down in her seat.
Ms. Megurine smiled. "Very good, Yumi! I can hear that you like to put much emotion into your voice! Now, everyone, get out some paper and a pencil. We will now be learning about what I told you earlier.
The bell rang. Everyone left the class in one big crowd. Len walked by himself, thinking. The new girl sure can sing. I hadn't heard anyone else sing that song except Lily.
"Len!" A high pitched voice called his name. Len turned to see Miku, Yukari, Mayu, and Miki walking towards him. "Hey, guys."
"Did you hear how the new girl sang? It makes me want to hurl just thinking about it!" Miki said.
"Oh, c'mon, Miki. It wasn't that bad. She was actually really good." Yukari argued softly.
"I guess you're right, Yukari. Still, her appearance is still bad." Miki smirked.
"Good one, Miki." Miku said, laughing.
"Well, I think she did a really nice job." A quiet voice said.
Len turned his head to his right and saw a white haired boy there. "Oh, hey, Piko! How long have you been there?"
"Long enough. How do you think she did, Len?" Piko asked.
"I think she did ok, for a newbie." Len answered, lying through his teeth.
