"Thank you, Twistedbranch I'll see to it at once." Deernose dipped his head to the deputy.
The brown she-cat dipped her head in thanks, before limping a little on her twisted paw out of the den. Deernose pushed through, and headed straight over towards the nursery. He entered the den to gaze around in sight of the small little kit. He spotted Gingertail; her tail wrapped around her kits, and gave a gesture with his head. Gingertail responded with a flick of the tail over into the darkest corner of the den. Where two icy blue eyes peeked out from under the bush, before darting out of sight in an instant.
Deernose sighed, and began to pad over there to talk to the small kit that clung to the shadows. But Deernose still was able to locate her soon enough. Little Wildkit looked down at her paws. "I didn't mean it, I swear." She apologized.
Deernose gazed down on to the kit, whose ears were pressed against her head. "I know you didn't, but you should watch where you are going, and not to lash out at the cat who had no way of knowing you would be coming." Ge tried to scold, but the small kit still had a lot to learn.
"Well, she should at least be a little nicer back," Wildkit complained calmly, "and if she didn't have that stupid twisted paw, I wouldn't be in this situation."
Deernose lowered her head, to try and get a glimpse of what the kit was feeling through her eyes, but they revealed nothing as usual. "Twistedbranch is a cat you have to be gentle with, but not two gentle like she was a useless kit. If you don't comment anything on her paw, she'd be a whole lot nicer to you."
"Why did Cougarstar let her be a warrior, and then deputy?"
Deernose gazed up at the very old leader's den up at the head of the camp. "Only StarClan knows at this point, but maybe because somewhere deep inside her cold heart, Cougarstar may have a soft spot for the clan deputy." Deernose responded, it felt weird saying such about the aging leader, but in a way it was true.
"Are you okay, you normally talk highly of our clan leader." Wildkit asked, still not showing whatever emotion she is feeling.
Deernose closed his eyes.
"There is a great threat that grows like your clan, you must find safety of the Five, five stars will save the clans, five stars that shine brighter than the others, five stars with their own abilities unique to them alone, five stars that lie where you least expect them." A voice spoke in his ear.
Deernose felt a jolt of fear for a moment, before feeling that go away except for the thoughts of what the voice meant. He just felt calm otherwise.
As he glanced down at where she felt a paw on his, he saw little Wildkit placing her paw there. But once she noticed Deernose looking down at her, she quickly removed her paw. And that fear returned, before being quenched by Deernose realizing what they meant.
And it pressed a new question into his mind.
"Excuse me." He spoke, leaving the nursery.
As she headed out, he went straight to Cougarstar's den. Where the pale ginger she-cat lay in her nest. after reviewing the prophecy, Cougarstar sat there for a moment. Before looking up into the medicine cat's eyes. "What about the fifth?" She asked.
"W-what, ma'am?" Deernose asked.
Cougarstar raised herself to her paws. "We have four kits in our nursery, and yet it calls for five. So I ask where the fifth is."
Deernose thought for a moment. "Could it be referring to a kit from each clan?" he asked.
Cougarstar shook her head. "No, those other 'clans' are not as clan like as us, they choose to be their way. So why would starclan choose one from each of them. I want you to test each and every one of our cats, find the fifth and see who the others might be if not the three other kits. So we can better prepare them." Cougarstar ordered.
"Ma'am, may I remind you that one of the kits is deaf?" Deernose asked her.
"Are you questioning MY orders?" Cougarstar hissed turning her head to face him, teeth bared.
Deernose backed off. "N-no ma'am, I'll begin to test each one, ma'am."
Cougarstar lowered herself, and went back to her rest. While Deernose returned to his nest and den.

A/U: The remaining clans without the prophecized are MoleClan, CoyoteClan, and BearClan. Sorry i couldn't use the spirit guided cat right now, but perhaps he could be of use with the medicine cat den as that isn't unknown before in those ranks.
Also quick note, before the story can begin i need a lot of cats, especially with medicine cats for MoleClan, WolfClan, and CoyoteClan. WolfClan, BearClan, and MoleClan are in need of Deputies, and all the clans could need more warriors, elders, and maybe some queens and kits.
And sorry for messing up the kits.
