Chapter Six

Orange Floor

Walking around in the dark, it seems like forever since she lost Jason and was left alone. She had no idea where she was or if she was going the right way. It all looked or felt the same in the dark. By the time she hit a dead end, she was beyond frustrated.

"Why is this happening!?" She kicks and punches the wall.

Trying her best to keep in control of her anger, she finally loses it and let's go. Kicking and screaming for a few minutes, before she could scream no longer. As she calmed down, something came to mind. It was small at first to notice, and she was far too distracted to care. Until now.

"I wonder." She gets up and retraces her steps.

And just like before she almost missed it, but this time she was looking for it. Using the matches she finds a small key. With a smile she sees a note with the words 'Green Team' written on it.

"Congrats on finding the key to your collars. We shall meet soon. Wesker." She was over joyed and was about to scream when things changed.

The lights turned on, blinding her for a few minutes. When she could finally see, she did everything she could to stop from screaming at the sight of this large man, wearing a metal helmet, a metal belt, and leather pants. He didn't react to her or even move. Backing up slowly she tries not to make a sound but can't help let of a squeal when she bumps into something. He doesn't move. Looking behind her, she sees a dog. Before she could say something, the guy suddenly comes to life.

Pink Floor

Shivering in waste high water, the girls wait for the next question to show up. But like the others, it wasn't showing up for some reason.

"Okay, I was thinking while we wait, we should pick someone to go down. And read the question." Naomi says as she walks around.

"Right. I will go and then you." Casie prepares to go into the water.

As they waited, their lips started to turn blue and the parts of their bodies under water were going numb. The only good thing was that the water was getting closer to a drip.

"Do you think he forgot to put the next question up?" Casie asks after almost an hour of waiting.

"He better not forget about us. Or there will be hell to pay." Naomi slowly walks over to her.

They both look over the edge. "Finally!" They say at the same time when the question appears on the screen.

"On three. One. Two. Three!" Casie takes a deep breath before jumping in.

It was colder near the laptop then where they were, which was making it harder to focus on reading the question. By the time she finished her whole body felt as tho millions of small knives were poking her and she was running out of air. Up top, Naomi was debating if she should jump in and get her. But by the time she was ready to jump, Casie came to the surface, gasping for air.

"I was so worried about you!" Naomi yells as she helps her.

"It's. So. Much. Colder down. There." Casie somehow manages to say. "The question is-"

"Rest a bit before you tell me." Naomi interrupts her.

"I'm fine." She smiles. "While Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine were after Wesker. What happened to Jill?" Casie tries to say in a single breath.

Thinking fast, Naomi hopes she was paying attention. "Um, I think she was trying to protect Chris when she fell through a glass window with Wesker. And everyone thought she died."

Closing her eyes, Naomi holds onto Casie as they wait to see if they got it right.

Yellow Floor

They couldn't close the door fast enough before the dogs, they thought their parents were imagining, killed them. Taking a few minutes to breath and calm their hearts, but the sound of the dogs trying to get through wasn't helping.

"Great another note." Tess gets up and grabs it. "All that can be said for this room or hallway is that you should watch your step."

"Well that's not very helpful. 'Watch your step'. Could mean anything when it comes to this guy." Nick says still on the floor.

"True." Turning around, Tess finds two doors. "Pick a door. Right or left?"

"Hmm," Nick thinks about it. "Your left or my left?"

"My left."

"Then left it is." Nick smiles as he get up.

Half smiling back, Tess follows behind Nick as they look around for anything that could them. But right before Nick steps on one of the many pressure switches, Tess tries to warn him, but it's too late. The moment he steps on it, a high pitch and very loud alarm fills the whole floor.

"I have a bad feeling about this!" Nick screams as he runs for the door. "It's locked!"

"The we try the other one!" Tess starts heading for it.

Unable to hear anything but the alarm, they can't hear the large door opening. Letting something out. The only thing they know was the door was unlocked and there was a note in the room.

"You are now very close to the end. Now for some good news. As long as you keep this rooms door open, the tyrant will be slowed down." Tess yells over the alarm.

"Tyrant!? What tyrant!?" Nick yells seconds before the alarm shuts off.

"I don't know. All it has a the end is the word, Nosferatu." Tess looks at the note with frustration.

"I really hate this place." Nick walks around the room.

Turning the note over, Tess finds another note, but her thoughts are interrupted by the horrifying screams coming from the hallway. Heading their way.

Red Floor

Looking at the new path, they wait for it to make a sharp move, and yet it does nothing. Which gave them a little relief. But their hope was soon disappears when it suddenly starts to rain.

"Just what I always wanted. To be stuck on a path that's broken. Surrounded by killer sharks and now freezing rain." Steve yells as he kicks Neptune in the head. "Oh shit."

All tho she found it funny, Amy was far too cold to laugh. "At least the path doesn't move." She half smiles.

"That's true. I'm just wondering if we can jump the gaps. And if we miss, can we swim fast enough before the sharks or under current get us." Steve starts to lie down in defeat.

"Hey! We are going to make it. We will cross those gaps and we will get these fucking collars off. Now get off your ass and get moving!" Amy glares at him.

"Wow. didn't know you had that in you." Steve gets to his feet.

"Neither did I." Amy follows behind him.

They didn't know why he stopped the path from moving or made it rain. All they know is they really hated this guy and they wanted to go home. Every part of their body was now crying out in pain as they made their way along the path. Stopping at their first gap.

"Amy, right after I jump you have to jump as well. So the collars don't beep." He faces her.

"Got it." She waits for him to jump.

Taking a few deep breaths and letting them out slowly, Steve wished he was somewhere else. Anywhere but here. But he was here and Amy needed him to start acting brave. So closing his eyes, he counts to three and jumps as hard as he can. In hopes he makes it. A few seconds later, he hears Amy jump just as his feet touch the other side. The collars get a single beep off before Amy is beside him.

"I told you we would make it." Amy hugs Steve.

"Ya did." Steve tries to hide his blushing, but wasn't successful.

Pulling away, they head for the next gap, unaware of the new threat watching them.

Observation Floor

Everything but the monitors were broken by the time the alarm stopped. It took all of his will not to break the monitors when he saw that Nosferatu was after the Yellow team, instead of the tyrant he wanted.

"Whoever is doing this will pay dearly. No one messes with me and gets away with it." His eye glowed bright red.

Moving away from the monitors, Wesker heads for his secret room where he plans on putting things right. But back on the monitors several of the outside cameras start to go offline. One after anothe. Till there was only one left. The front door.

Green Floor

He couldn't believe it. It had to be a trick of some kind. But it was real. There in front of him were two keys and a note with one word on it.

"Orange? What the hell does that mean?" Jason asks himself.

Looking at the other key, Jason tires to unlock his collar but finds it doesn't fit. Thinking about it, he tries to remember if he saw a door that he found was locked but nothing came to mind.

"Alright-" Jason starts to say when the alarm hits his floor.

Covering his ears, he tries to find out where it's coming from. He thought at first it was caused by him using the wrong key on his collar, but when he found out it wasn't by going out of the room, he started wondering if it would end. By the time it ended, Jason was on the floor with both dogs on either side of him.

"It's over….Max and Trident?" Jason reads there collars. "Weird but better than dog."

Getting up, he heads out the door looking for where the key goes. This time it was easier with the lights on. But something deep inside of him told him not to unlock the large door, and yet he ignored it. It opened up slowly revealing the shape of a person on the other side.

Blue Floor

It was as if both of their hearts stopped at the same time, when they heard footsteps heading their way. There was no where to go and the tyrants were getting closer with each passing second. Looking over Sarah sees something. Without saying a word to Eric, she moves quickly.

"The key." She whispers to herself.

But as she tries to head back, she sees the first tyrant come into view. It looks in their direction and for some reason turns around and walks away. Using this moment Sarah runs over to Eric.

"I found the key to our collars!" She tries her best not to yell.

"Soon we'll be free." Eric takes the key and starts to look for the lock on Sarah's collar. Before he can take it off of her, something breaks through the ceiling.

"S.T.A.R.S." Was all it says.

Grabbing Sarah's hand, Eric makes a run for the street, throwing Nemesis off as they go by him. Tho Mr. X was a little bit harder to get by. Mr.X screams and suddenly runs after them. Moving fast, Eric goes around the large desk, knowing they couldn't get over it in time before Mr. X got to them. Getting through the hole that once was the door, they find Mr. X right behind them. Followed very closely by Nemesis.

"Give me the key!" Sarah manages to ask him.

Doing his best, Eric pulls a move that forces Mr. X to stop in his tracks, causing Nemesis to hit him in the back. As the two fight each other, Eric and Sarah rush to get their collars off and once they are, they turn facing the tyrants. But before they can do anything, the wall behind them explodes. Sending Eric and Sarah in different directions.
