7. Theme Song

Theme Song

Danny's POV
Tucker, Sam, and I were walking to my house from school. It was a normal day, I was late to Lancer's class because the Box Ghost thought it was necessary to invade the post office at 7:30 in the morning. Then after Lancer's class, Dash used me and Tuck as punching bags. Then he shoved us into lockers, which Sam had to save us from. We had lunch, and the rest of the day went painfully slow. Finally the dismissal bell rang, and the three of us booked it out of there.
"So what are you doing today?" Tucker asked.
"We can hang out at my place," I offered.
"Sounds fun," Sam said.
"Alright, to my house,"
We walked to my house. We got drinks out of the fridge, and went up to my room. Sam and I got out our English homework and started working on it while Tucker tinkered with his PDA.
"Danny needs a theme song," Tucker said, out of nowhere.
"What?" Sam and I asked in unison.
"Danny needs a theme song. Like for Danny Phantom,"
"Oh," we said.
"Yeah, I guess I do," I chuckled.
"Okay, what song should be your theme song?"
"I don't know. Maybe come up with a tune. Like Batman or Superman,"
"I don't know. Maybe use a song. Or write one,"
Sam's POV
Danny and Tucker were talking about what Danny's theme song should be. Then the perfect idea hit me.
"'Hero'," I suggested.
"What?" the two boys turned their attention to me.
"'Hero'. Danny's theme song should be 'Hero' by Skillet,"
They stared at me.
"You know: 'I need a hero to save me now. I need a hero to save me now. I need a hero to save my life. A hero will save me just in time.'," I sang.
They shared a look, and turned to me again.
"Oh. My. Gosh. Sam, you're a genius! It's perfect!" Danny exclaimed, as he ran over to me and engulfed me into a hug. He pick me up, and spun in circled. Then he set me down.
"You're welcome," I giggled.
"I think we found you a theme song, dude," Tucker said.
"Yeah," Danny nodded. "We did, thanks to Sam,"
He put his arm around me as he said my name.
Then his ghost sense went off. I pulled up the music on my phone as Danny changed into his alter ego- Danny Phantom- and carry me and Tucker to the ghost.
I started playing his theme song.
Danny's POV
As I changed into my ghost form and was on the way to defeat the ghost, Sam started playing my theme song.
Tucker's POV
When Sam started playing 'Hero' the two of they exchanged glances and blushed.
