Numair had to resist from groaning out loud. She was so pretty and she didn't know how her beautiful eyes and innocent expression added to her charms.
Standing, Numair said, "I think that's enough meditating for this old man tonight."
Daine laughed, "You're not old. But it's dark enough for bedtime, if that's what you mean."
Numair replied, "Goodnight, magelet."
Before Daine could turn around, he was gone.
Each time she looked at him, he felt like a bloody teenager again.
It was avoidance in excess. And they both seemed to be good at it.
