Chapter Seven – Sick and Tired
Finally, the castle loomed in the distance. Upon reaching the gates, Kagome was forcibly dropped from Inuyasha's shoulders.
"Ouch! Do you have to be so rough?" She yelled.
Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "Don't be such a baby."
Kagome huffed and stomped her foot. "You're so rude!"
"Yeah, whatever,"Kagome realized he never made eye contact and even their arguments were different now. She got another twinge of disappointment. As the gates opened, she stormed past Iunyasha and didn't wait for him to catch up. She was sick of pretending she was okay, but still angrily brushed away her tears.
"Welcome."
