Hello Everyone! Long time no see, sorry that I took so long. Well, my reason is because of school, projects, exams, etc. Oh and DON'T FORGET TO READ THIS: BROCK WILL NOT BE JOINING ASH. Well everyone has a reason including mine. First, I will be having a hard time if Brock gets in the way. Second, no offense even though he's smart but Ash can handles himself and Brock will only holds Ash back. Like I said NO OFFENSE. I'm utterly sorry for those who vote Brock but don't worry; Brock will appear in some of the chapter as a supporting character. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE CHAPTER! Chapter 7 – , Moon Stone, Clefairy

The sun rose up as Ash began to wake up and looked at his watch ''6:00 am? A bit early than I thought.'' Ash muttered. He stretched up a bit and began to change clothes. Ash saw his Boulder badge and smiled ''our very first badge and our very first step towards to becoming a Pokémon Master.'' Ash said with determination in his voice. Apparently his voice was a bit loud that it woke up our favorite mouse Pokémon.

'Good morning Ash!' Pikachu said yawning a bit. Ash looked at his yellow Pokémon and smiled ''Morning Pikachu, sorry that I woke you up.''

'It's okay. I always want to join you in your morning exercise.'' Pikachu smiled. Ash smiled back and said ''Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!''

After their morning exercise

''Well Pikachu that's enough exercise for today.'' Ash said panting a bit. Ash chases Pikachu as their morning exercise but man that yellow partner of his is pretty damn fast with that Quick attack, Pikachu was able to speed up his pace.

'Looks like I have more stamina than you'' Pikachu boasted himself. Ash knew it was a joke and chuckled a bit. With all that exercise done, Ash began to pack up and leave the Pokémon Center. After that, he began to make his way to . On his way, he encountered some trainers which he beat them rather easily. Suddenly a voice shouted ''Help!''

Ash heard it and began to dash towards the voice. Then he saw some kind of scientist being attacked by Zubats. Ash took out his pokedex and scanned them.

Zubat, the Bat Pokémon. It has no eyes. Instead, it relies on its ultrasonic cries for echo location to flit about in darkness.

''Pikachu, use a light thunderbolt at those Zubats to drive them away'' Ash commanded which Pikachu responds quickly as he released a small bolt of lightning towards the Zubats which scared them as they run away. Ash offered his hand to the man as he took it with gratitude.

''Thank you for helping me. I thought I was a goner.'' The man smiled ''oh by the way I'm Seymour'' he introduced himself. Ash took this as his cue and said ''I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and why are those Zubats attacking you?'' Ash said to the scientist.

''Come with me. I'll show you.'' Seymour said to Ash as they entered the cave. Then Ash saw the cave was full of lights hanging to the cave walls. ''I see. So that's why.'' Ash said. Seymour nodded as he explained ''Pokémon that lives in this cave are not used to this kind of lights making them confused.''

Ash clenched his fist in anger as he muttered ''who would do this?'' Then Ash saw a bipedal, pink Pokémon with a chubby, vaguely star-shaped body carrying some kind of stone. ''Hey Seymour, what's that Pokemon? And why it is carrying a moon stone?'' Ash asked. Even though Ash read some Pokémon book but the book he read has no pictures on some Pokémon. Maybe it's one of the Pokémon he read with no pictures like Clefairy, Clefable, Wigglytuff and many more. Seymour answered what his thoughts said ''It's a Clefairy. They're carrying moon stones for their ritual.'' Ash opened his pokedex and pointed it to Clefairy.

Clefairy, the Fairy Pokémon. Its adorable appearance makes it popular as a pet. However, it is rare and difficult to find.

Ash closed his pokedex as Seymour said ''let's follow it.'' While walking, Ash decided to start a conversation. ''Hey Seymour, why are you here anyway?''

''You see, I'm here to investigate what's going on here in Mt. Moon since there are reports that Clefairy was sighted here. But when I entered , I was suddenly attacked by Zubats and that's when you came in.''

''Why do you even want to investigate Clefairy? Can't you just use a pokedex or something.'' Ash asked confusingly.

''Well, it's because I believe that Clefairy came from outer space.'' Seymour answered. ''In other words, they're aliens?'' Ash said. Seymour nodded as they continued to follow the Clefairy. As they walked by, Ash began to feed Pikachu with some Poke chow since Pikachu was a bit hungry now then a Sandshrew appeared looking at the food hungrily. Ash looked at Sandshrew and saw that it was hungry. Ash smiled and gave Sandshrew some poke chow and said ''here little guy, have some food.'' Sandshrew looked at the human and the food as he suddenly ate the food with vigor. Ash chuckled at this as he and Seymour walked away. Sandshrew looked at Ash as he made a decision. And with that, he began to follow Ash.

The Clefairy finally stopped making Ash and Seymour stopped as well. When they all looked around, they saw multiple Clefairy collecting moon stones and putting them into a big rock.

''Wow! I didn't know that there were so many moon stones here in .'' Ash declaimed.

'Of course dummy, that's why it's called ' Pikachu snorted at his trainer. Ash chuckled a bit and scratched Pikachu's cheek a bit as Pikachu replied with a satisfied 'chaaaa' Seymour smiled at the bond between Pokémon and trainer as he thought '' Ash will really go far.''

''So Seymour, I know that a Moon stone can evolve some Pokémon but I do know that there are other purpose as well.'' Ash explained to Seymour. ''You really do hit the spot Ash.'' Seymour chuckled a bit as he began to answer Ash's question ''you are right; moon stone can evolve certain species of Pokémon. But they also give Pokémon some kind of power-up as well.''

Ash nodded in confirmation as they watched the Clefairy do their work until a certain gang interrupted them using their motto (AN: I will NEVER write their motto! It's just a hindrance to the story)

''Team Rocket.'' Ash growled ''what are you doing here?'' Team Rocket looked at Ash confusingly but Meowth remembers him as he said ''hey look, it's the twerp from Virdian City.''

Jessie remembered him and growled as she said ''we're here to steal the moon stone and you will pay for giving us the humiliation from Team Rocket.''

Ash smirked as he grabbed 2 poke balls from his belt and said ''Bring it on.''

''Let's go Ekans!'' Jessie said bringing out her snake Pokémon. ''Take out this rookie Koffing!'' James yelled as their Pokémon began to get ready for another battle.

''Charmeleon and Pidgeotto! Let's g-'' Ash was cut off by the Sandshrew he helped moemnts ago appeared and got ready for battle.

''Sandshrew you want to battle with me?'' Ash asked. Sandshrew nodded with determination. Ash smiled and said ''Welcome to the team but I will not catch you yet sine I already have a full Pokémon in me so let me help you out'' Once again, sandshrew nodded again as he said 'hurry up'

Ash quickly hid Pidgeotto's ball and threw Charmeleon's poke ball as the light began to take Charmeleon's form. Charmeleon already got into fighting stance as the battle begin.

''Charmeleon let's start with Ember!'' Ash commanded as Charmeleon let out a few flames from his mouth as it headed towards their opponent.

''Koffing use Smokescreen and dodge'' James ordered. ''Ekans dodge when the Smokescreen commence.'' Jessie said. Koffing let out black-green smokes as Ash and his Pokémon coughed a bit. Sandshrew began spinning and spinning until the smokes was gone. Ash smirked and thought '' Smart. He used Rapid Spin to use the wind around him and make the smokes disappeared as well.'' Then Ash looked at Sandshrew and saw a glint at Sandshrew's eyes as Sandshrew's action was stomping on the ground. Ash's eyes widened in realization and nodded then his eyes were moved to the battle. ''Charmeleon get in close and use Bite attack to koffing and don't take off your bite.'' Ash ordered. Charmeleon reading his trainer's mind, knew what will happen and dash towards Koffing then he opened his mouth revealing two fangs glowing as the bite attack initiated making Koffing grunted in pain.

''Ekans use Wrap to that lizard quickly.'' Jessie said with irritation in her voice. But before Ekans could do the attack, Sandshrew becomes outlined in a brown aura as he jumped and stomped on the ground creating a Magnitude. The grounds began shaking as Ekans began to take damage since Ground types are super effective to poison types but Ekans endured the pain as she can still fight for a bit. Charmeleonwas unaffected since he was still biting Koffing who was floating in the air making also Koffing unaffected by the ground type move.

Sandshrew then began to release stars from his mouth and it was headed towards Ekans. ''Swift…'' Ash thought. Since Swift is an unavoidable attack, Ekans was hit and its eyes were replaced by swirls.

''Charmeleon finish this with full-powered Ember!'' Ash said with finality in his voice. Charmeleon nodded as a fire began to form into his mouth and fired it. Since Koffing was so close to Charmeleon it took a direct hit from it and got knocked out. Both Rockets grumbled and returned their Pokémon. But unknown to Ash, Meowth was trying to snatch a moon stone but was exposed by Ash yelling "Hey! Stop that!''

Meowth cursed and began to quickly take the moon stone but an attack stop him. ''Magnemite use Thunder Shock!'' a voice yelled. A small stream of lightning began its way towards meowth who was shocked and got knocked out for a bit. Jessie sighed and said '' you know meowth, you're pretty weak. Looks like it's time for Plan B''

''yeah… let' run! Good thing we put the lights on so that we can escape easily '' James yelled. ''As if I'm letting you wander here again!'' Ash yelled in anger. ''Pikachu use Thunderbo-''Ash was cut off by the Clefairy who began to use Metronome as their attack turned into a beam of orange light. ''Hyper Beam'' Ash whispered the attack as the said attack began its way to Team Rocket who were now blasting off again.

''Nice work out there Seymour. I almost forgot you were here.'' Ash smiled returning his Charmeleon after giving him some words of praise.

''It's ok. At least I was able to help'' Seymour smiled back as he returned his magnemite. Then the ritual began as all of the Clefairy began to evolve into Clefable as Ash scanned them.

Clefable, the Fairy Pokémon and the evolved form of Clefairy. It has an acute sense of hearing. It can easily hear a pin being dropped nearly 1,100 yards away.

But before Ash began to hide his pokedex, Sandshrew came in as he looked at Ash. ''Oh sorry. Thanks for your cooperation and welcome to the team.'' Ash smiled as he took out an empty poke ball and placed it on the ground. Sandshrew immediately touched the poke ball as it made a sound 'ding' and disappeared in a white light. ''I hope Professor Oak take good care of Sandshrew. I'm going to train him when I get to Cerulean City.'' Ash thought as his Pokedex beeped at his newly caught and began to speak in a robotic voice.

Sandshrew, the mouse Pokémon. It burrows and lives underground. If threatened, it curls itself up into a ball for protection. This Pokémon is Male and has the ability Sand Veil. Known Moves: Rollout, Rapid Spin, Swift and Magnitude.

Ash closed his pokedex and thought ''another day, another new friend'' He smiled at the thought as the ritual was finished. Then Seymour said ''Hey Ash, I think I'm going to stay here with the Clefairy and Clefable.'' Ash nodded with a smiled and said ''Ok Seymour. I hope we meet again'' Ash waved at Seymour as his goodbye and began to walk away after Seymour gave a wave back. Then a Clefairy came to Ash and gave him a Moon Stone. ''Is this for me?'' Ash asked. Clefairy nodded and bowed as a thank you for helping them from team Rocket.

''Thanks Clefairy. I hope all of you are going to be safe here.'' Ash grinned at the fairy Pokémon as it left and joined the others.

Ash began to walk as he saw the exit and run towards them. Ash was greeted by the smooth smell of grass and trees joined by the fresh air travelling all around.

''Finally I got out of that cave. It's time to get going to Cerulean and get some rest.'' Ash thought a bit tired from his adventure at the cave. As he walked he saw a sign with a paper that said 'Gary was here, Ash is a loser!' Ash ripped off the paper and calmly said '' A loser eh? I show him whose loser when we battle.'' Pikachu sighed and began to go inside of Ash's backpack and sleep. After a few minutes of walking, they finally reached Cerulean City as Ash quickly ran towards the Pokémon Center.

''Hello, may I help you young man?'' Nurse Joy said. Ash grinned at her and gave her Charmeleons poke ball as he said ''Can you please heal Charmander Nurse Joy?''

''Of course, that's my job after all.'' Nurse Joy said nicely as she began to treat Charmeleon while Ash calls professor Oak.

''Hey professor!'' Ash greeted the old man. ''Oh, hey Ash! How are you?'' Professor Oak asked.

''Just got through and tomorrow I'm going to challenge the Cerulean gym. By the way professor, did you receive Sandshrew?'' Ash asked in the end. Professor nodded and said '' yeah I sure did. This one is quite playful you know.'' He chuckled. Ash smiled at that and said '' I'm going to transfer Gyarados there for Sandshrew. Sandshrew needs bit training since I just caught him. ''

Professor Oak frowned at Ash's choice of Pokémon he was sending over as he asked ''Are you sure Gyarados is well tamed?''

Ash nodded and said ''Yeah. Just don't make it angry.'' Professor nodded and put Sandshrew's poke ball to the transporter as Ash did the same to Gyarados poke ball. Both balls disappeared in a white light and were exchanged. Ash got Sandshrew's poke ball and said ''Thanks Professor. I got to go pick up Charmander. Bye!'' Ash said with a wave. Professor nodded as he grabbed Gyarados poke ball and said with a reassuring grim''Good luck tomorrow Ash.'' The screen went black signaling that the call was over. Ash put Sandshrew's poke ball at his belt as he went to the counter.

At the counter, Nurse Joy was waiting for Ash to retrieve his poke ball. Ash came and said ''thanks Nurse Joy and sorry I was late. I was talking to the Professor''

Nurse Joy shook her head and said ''It's ok and you're on perfect time since I just finished healing your Charmeleon.''

''thanks again Nurse joy. And can I get a room?'' Ash asked. Nurse Joy looked through the computer and said ''Yes we have plenty of rooms. Here have this key to room 16. Just turn left to the phone section and you will find it there.''

Ash smiled and grabbed Charmeleon's poke ball and hid it to his belt as he said cheerfully ''Ok Nurse Joy. Thanks so much for everything.''

Nurse Joy nodded and said ''anything for our customers.''

Ash began its way to his room and lay on his bed. ''Tomorrow's the day I'm going to take the Cascade Badge. Get ready Cerulean Gym, Ash Ketchum is ready to storm your gym.'' Ash thought as the sleep overcame him as he slept peacefully with that thought resting in his mind.
