Chapter 6: The Test of Time Part 2
Alec cried out in pain as the blade hit his shoulder. He had shoved Magnus against the wall protecting him with his body. He heard Magnus scream, panicked, as he fell to the ground.
"Alec, Love. Talk to me, please." Magnus was on his knees next to Alec, forgetting about his injured leg. Ripping the shirt away from Alec's wound, hands shaking. The Warlock didn't even notice a figure kneeling down next to him.
"Magnus let me heal the boy." He looked over at Brother Zachariah. Magnus nods let him heal his love. Alec begins to wake, he looks at Magnus, holding his hand out to him. "Magnus." Magnus gave Alec's hand a reassuring squeeze. "It's alright, Love. I'm right here, it's going to be fine." Alec nods. He sat up, pain instantly shooting through his body, but Alec forces himself to stay silent not wanting to worry Magnus. "Magnus, I want to go home." Magnus smiled at the Shadowhunter. " Alright, My Love." He helped Alec to his feet, but once Alec was standing the Warlock winced. Alec immediately looked at Magnus, a concerned look on his face.
"Magnus." His voice full of love.
"Im fine, darling. Its just my leg." Alec nods and helps Magnus to the portal.
When he looked around, he smiles, he was finally home. The Blue-Eyed Shadowhunter helps his love to their room and into bed. Alec pulls the covers over Magnus, kisses his forehead. "Get some rest, Magnus." Alec quietly leaves the room, shutting the door behind him.
Alec finds the others waiting in his living room. Isabella starts walking toward him.
"Are you okey, Alec?" He nods.
"I'm fine, but I'm worried about Magnus." She smiled.
"He'll be fine." Then proceeded to lead him into Magnus's room shoving him on the bed next to a sleeping Magnus. "Now, go to bed!" She crossed her arms, glaring at him. He laid down next to Magnus and smiled as he drifted off to sleep.
Alec didn't know how long he slept, but he knew it was the best sleep he had since the break up. He looked over next to to see Magnus sitting reading a book.
Alec smiled shyly. "Hey."
Magnus laughed. "Really Alexander. Hey, is the best you got?" Alec blushed.
"You know I'm not the best with words." He said shyly.
"That you aren't." Magnus said chuckling.
"You know we still need…" Magnus cut him off.
"I know. But Alexander why are you so insistent on knowing the past."
"Magnus, its your past. Its what has made you into the amazing man I see. I see a man who has more courage than anyone I have ever met. A man who is so kind and caring, yet very few know it."
Magnus sighs heavily, the warlock knew that Alec deserved to know the truth. The warlock got up, walking over to his coat, hanging on the chair and pulled a small notebook out. He walked back and handed it to Alec.
"I wrote things down after we broke up. It's some of my past, I couldn't write all of it." Alec smiled.
"It's okay, at least you're trying." Alec said. "I've missed you, Magnus. I've missed us."
Magnus smile. "Me too."
