Sorry for yet another long wait. Let's get to the story, shall we?

Impa

I groaned and lifted my head. What was I doing out here in the forest? I then remembered that band of thieves, and what had happened to the princess. I immediately sat upright. I stood up and struggled to my feet, only to get plowed into by one of the thieves.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"For your information, I just heard a yell, so I'm rushing to the scene!"

"Not without me you're not! In case you've forgotten, I happen to be the princess's bodyguard." The boy rolled his eyes at me and we set off together.

A few minutes later, we arrived to find the boy who stumbled in on the stage earlier caught by a Weepinbell.

"Where's the princess?", I asked.

"I'm over here.", I heard a voice.

I turned around and saw her on the ground.

"Get up and help us fight.", the boy said.

The princess slowly got to her feet and we took our battle stances.

"Be sure not to hurt Robin!", Zelda warned us.

"You're associating with commoners now? I once heard of a girl in a far away land who..."

"Save it for later!", the thief called out over his shoulder, as he rolled away from a Vine Whip. I took out my sword and slashed the Weepinbell. Zelda stayed back and took a support role while we battled the Weepinbell. Finally, with Robin looking faint, the Weepinbell let him go.

"Finally, we're done!", the thief said. "I almost thought..." He was cut off by the sudden appearance of a Victreebel. The Victreebel snatched Zelda and ran off. The three of us chased it into a cave.

Robin

This is all my fault! I can't believe I let Zelda get taken. Just when I was rescued too! Anyways, the three of us found the Victreebel and started to fight it. Suddenly, I had an idea.

"Hey, knight!"

"My name's Impa", the knight replied. "What do you want?"

"Zelda gave me Din's Fire before you arrived. What if I cast it on your sword, and then you attack the Victreebel?"

"Ignoring the princess freely giving away a spell of the Alexandrian royal family, that might work. Victreebel are weak to fire."

The other boy in the theater group yelled out: "Whatever you're going to do, do it quickly! The princess looks like she might be getting faint."

I quickly cast Din's Fire on Impa's sword, and she attacked the Victreebel. It seemed to loosen its hold on Zelda a small amount.

"Great! Just a bit more now!", the other boy called out. We slashed, casted, and stabbed until the Victreebel fainted.

Zelda came out of the Victreebel. She said "We've got to get out of this forest!"

"Why?", I asked.

"I read about this forest at the castle. When the head Victreebel is defeated, the forest activates a defense mechanism and all sapient life inside is petrified."

"What are we waiting for?", the other boy yelled. "Let's go!"

We ran through the forest at top speed, but we heard someone behind us.

"Stop!", I yelled out. "It's Ike and Marth!"

"More of your thief friends? What I should do to them..."

"Save your breath! I just helped you save your princess, didn't I?"

Ike and Marth ran up to us. "We came to help you set off. Is this a bad time?" Marth asked us.

"Sort of!", I replied. "This entire forest is about to be petrified. Get the airship working, and fly away."

"I'll go get it working.", Marth told us.

Ike, however, said: "I'll help you escape. The airship can come pick us up later when we make it out."

Marth left, and then we started out again.

The five of us ran through the forest as fast as we could manage, dodging angry Weepinbell which had come to head us off. The petrification was coming up behind us fast.

"We can only... hope... the others... made it.", Ike managed to pant out. We were almost at the exit, but a Weepinbell came up and blocked our path.

"I'll take ... care of it!", Ike said. He jumped in front of the Weepinbell and slashed it with his sword. The rest of us ran out of the exit, past Ike. The petrification had almost reached him.

"Ike! Run for it!" I called to him.

"Goodbye, Link." Ike smiled and let the petrification take him over. I slumped to the ground, overcome with grief.
