Arnold's Trip to Danville:
A Hey Arnold!/Phineas and Ferb
Crossover
Chapter 7:
Phineas gets a letter
The next day, in Danville, Phineas and Ferb and their friends were in the middle of making a new project that Phineas thought in his mind (with a cliché-ic , "I know what what we're gonna do today." fashion, stated before they began).
Earlier in that morning, as per usual, Phineas asked his brother about the blueprints of the invention.
"Ferb, plans please?"
The F shaped boy nodded his head silently and quickly got it out of his pocket.
After the amazed stares, praise, and the predictable snide comment from Buford about something that could've possibly be better in the invention (but really not needed, nor was it true.), it was time to get to work.
Now in the present, Phineas, with a hard hat on, looked over the blueprints another time and said, "Wow, Ferb!" to his brother in condidence, "This has got to be our best one yet!"
Isabella agreed with Phineas and said "He's right you guys!" with excitement. She was carrying a whole bunch of planks of wood for the invention and dropped them close to the two boys.
"This'll be epic",said she as she continued her work, happily while thinking of Phineas over and over again in her mind.
You see, Isabella has an important role-- Phineas' love interest (or at least she hopes to be.) While working on projects with Phineas, she also had-- no HAS-- a crush on him. Which made working on projects with him all that lovely But for some reason...
He didn't know.
So until he did, she would keep her silence.
As Isabella went to work, a mail carrier was walking past the Flynn-Fletcher house and coming toward the backyard's mail box.
"Oh, cool, guys!" Phineas said with excitement. "The mail's here!" He put his hard hat down and everyone followed along.
The mail woman, who was friendly to the neighborhood kids, looked up from checking her bag, and said to them, "Hey guys!"
Phineas came up to her front and centered and greeted her with a "Hi," "What came in for us, today?" he asked her politely.
The African American woman looked up at the sky to mock think about sonething, and had an aha moment.
"Well, I might have something for you..." she said as she looked in her bag, filling the kids with excitement (as excited as you could be getting regular mail), and pulled out a couple packages with a couple of letters and finished with... "right here!"
Phineas smiled and said, "cool" and looked on the boxes to see who were they for. "Candace, Mom, dad..." he mumbled to himself and when he saw all of the names on the mail, he looked up and said thank you to the woman.
"You're welcome, Phineas!" And added, "bye, you guys!" while walking away.
Something... however, fell out of the mail carrier's bag as she walked away. Being the gentleman he always was, he tried to give it back to the lady by calling out to her.
"Hey, miss!" he yelled to try to get her attention. But the lady went around the corner. "You... dropped something..." he said slowly.
"Huh," he said while looking at the letter. Just to see who's name was on the envelope, he checked it.
Isabella was the first one to talk out of everyone else. " who's it for? " she asked patiently. "It looks like..." Phineas said curiously, "It's for Us." he said a little bewildered.
Bom-bom-bom!
I know it's been a few years since I worked on this and that a lot has changed. But I will still keep writing this Fanfiction. I love these shows, and even though they have ended, they are still my faves!
So FINALLY, here's chapter 7 to Trip to Danville. I know it took a while, but I got my writing spirit back! Now, I can write this story again!
An Arnold discovery is next!
