A/N: HEY PEEPS! SORRY FOR THE DELAY! I WAS BUSY WITH...OTHER THINGS. ANYWHO! NOT A LOT OF PLOT GOING ON IN THIS CHAPTER. MY BAD.

"I...am going...to die! Emily...tell Bob...that I love him!"

"You are so dramatic. And who the heck is Bob?"

It was early in the morning where Sera was currently sprawled out on the deck floor, worn out from the vigorous training she is receiving from Leon. Emily, also tired, is kneeling in front of her friend.

"Bob is my imaginary friend FYI!" Sera huffed at the redhead.

"Sera, you need to focus. Distractions in battle will get yourself killed," Leon sighed.

The teen leapt up to her feet. "I can focus! I have plenty of-hey look a butterfly! So pretty," she mused.

Leon snapped his fingers in front of her face. "This is why Emily could attack so easily. Please at least try again and this time, Sera you attack Emily."

Sera gave a two-finger salute. Her eyes glowed and the green mist shot out from her stone. Emily deflected the blast, but Sera continued to attack.

"That's it! Push through!" Leon encouraged. Finally, Sera broke through the stonekeeper's defenses causing her to fall on her backside.

"Crap," Emily grumbled.

"Good work, Sera. You both are excelling steadily in you're attacks however, your defenses are weak and are easily broken if you are not being attacked head on."

"It takes up more of my energy to defend, Leon. I can barely keep the attacks at bay," the stonekeeper panted.

The fox rubbed the bridge of his nose. "How about you both take a break, then. We'll meet back later."

"Awesomeness!" Sera beamed.

Trellis was currently on the deck of the Luna Moth. His head was propped up with the palm of his hand while he leaned against the railing looking out into the distance. He contemplated the events that happened in the last few days as began to question everything.

Did he make the right decision joining Emily and her team? Could they actually succeed in defeating the Elf King, his father? And his memories...with they ever be fully restored?

Suddenly he noticed a presence beside him followed by a, "What's up, Sunshine?"

He glanced to his right to see Sera munching on an apple.

"Hn," was his response.

"Well, whatever you're thinking about, it must be pretty serious since you have that frown on your face," she noted.

"What do you want?" he asked, growing impatient.

"What do you want?"

"I want you to leave," he deadpanned.

"Hmm, we all can't get what we want, can we Snowflake?"

Trellis' frown deepened at the mention of another nickname.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're annoying?"

"Sticks and stones, your highness, sticks and stones," she grinned, taking another bite out of the apple before tossing it over the ship. "You never answered my question."

"Nothing," he said dryly.

"Really? Nothing at all?" she answered skeptically, "Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Really sure?"

"Yes."

"Totally sure?"

"Yes."

"Positively sure?"

He rolled his eyes. "Yes!"

"Absolutely sure?"

"YES!"

"Positively, absolutely, totally, undeniably-"

Trellis sharply turned towards her, glowering with a deep scowl. "SHUT. UP."

"I can't. I told you that I get uncomfortable if it's silent."

"I. DON'T. CARE."

Sera hummed. "Well that's a shame 'cause I care for all my friends."

"We are NOT friends, Sera, so stop acting like we are. Now leave me alone." he growled.

She blinked, looked at her shoes, looked back at him, and shrugged. "Alrighty. You've could have just said so," she said lightly.

As he watched her trudge away, guilt hit him like a ton of bricks.

That was quite harsh, don't you think?

Trellis groaned at the sound of his stone.

'Oh great. Now what do you want?'

I see you are still as rude as ever.

'And you're still obnoxious.'

Tsk, tsk. Treating a lady in such an ill-mannered way is unlike you, Trellis. Is something bothering you?

If he didn't know any better the Voice would have sound sincere.

'Don't ridicule me. Besides, she asked for it.'

Still, an apology is in order.

'Why does she interest you so much anyway?'

I find it amusing that she is able to get such...engaging reactions out of you, regardless it being a negative reaction.

You are disturbing.

Trellis promptly ended the conversation when he received a mental image of the Voice's Cheshire cat-like grin.

"Sera?"

"Yes Emily?"

"Uh, what are you doing?"

To be specific, Sera was doing a hand-stand while saying her ABC's backwards.

"Oh, don't mind me. This helps me focus. Leon said I need to focus so...yeah."

Emily's eye twitched. "Sera, sometimes I worry about your mental health."

If she was in a amused state, the red-head would have found Sera's face hilarious.

"Why? It's not like I'm doing anything weird," she shrugged. (How she did it was a mystery.)

"Alright, what's going on?" Emily asked sternly.

Sera blinked innocently. "What do ya mean?"

"This," Emily began, referring to her position, "is too weird. Even for you."

The teen smiled, but it seemed forced. "Aw you know me. Don't worry about it."

"Did something-"

"Nope."

"Are you-"

"Yup."

Liar.

'Hush.'

The stonekeeper furrowed her brows. "Fine," she sighed, "Come on. Leon is waiting for us."

She grinned for real this time. "Ok! But, Em?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you help me down?"

Emily facepalmed.
