Hi. Thank you for reading, follows, review and kind words. It only proves me that the simplest things make people the happiest.

1. This chapter is my Christmas present for you. I don't think that you specially awaited for it, but here it is. I'm not going to be around for a longer period of time, for real this time. I don't know when the next chapter will appear, so sorry.

2. This chapter includes little sexy time. If you feel uncomfortable, skip it.

3. Hmm I don't know how to say it. I've got creepy PM (clearly from chuckles fan) saying that he deserves to be in that story. Yes you read correctly DESERVES (!). It's Christmas time and I'm in generous mood so I decided to include him in this chapter only in this chapter and in very small paragraph, but in my own conditions. So yes he is here with storyline he deserves (in my opinion of course). Warning: I've got carried away. If you are gonna bomb me with hate, spare it.

4. Sorry for all unforgivable mistakes and errors.

Merry Christmas!/Happy Holidays!

See you soon!

Eileen (Part 7)

Blair's eyes flew open at 6 in the morning at the sound of running water. Dan was in the bathroom preparing for work. It's her birthday. She sighed. She had a lot in her mind. She couldn't stop thinking about something since a previous evening. She barely slept at night. Her heart started to pound. She shouldn't be so nervous. She didn't know for sure. Even if, that would be fantastic news. But she thought that's impossible though. That she couldn't. She got out of bed and went in the bathroom.

She rested her head on his back and wrapped her arms around him while he wiped his face after shaving. "Hi birthday girl." He smiled in the mirror. "My waffle treatment works." He grabbed her palm and kissed her ring finger. "They are almost fit." He smiled and turned around, welcoming her in his arms. "Why are you up so early?" She shrugged and looked at him with lips with down-turning corners. "What's up?" He smoothed her unkempt hair gently. "There will be party, guests, presents… You love it though." She shrugged again. "Are you upset because you turn 31 or what?" He joked. She sighed and turned her head to the side self-consciously. "Blair." He said getting worried.

She looked up at him, widened her eyes and bit lower lip. "I think I'm pregnant." Dan shifted a bit tightening his embrace. He just tilted his head and looked at her lovingly but completely unfazed. "You are not surprised?" She was surprised on his reaction instead.

"Firstly you said that you think you are pregnant." She rolled her eyes. "And well it's hard to be surprised when we did nothing to prevent that kind of possibility." She opened her mouth to protest but he preempted her and gave her a little bit prolonged smack on the lips. "It's ok." He smiled.

"We've thought we don't need protection considering my problems..."

"You've thought." He pointed out. "I just haven't opposed." He shrugged.

"Humphrey!" She sounded shocked. "You shamelessly wanted to knock me up accidently?!" She asked with faux outrage.

"No." He chuckled backing his head. "You know I didn't. I just wouldn't mind to make another perfect baby with you." Her heart melted. Yes. They were masters in making perfect babies. She smiled shyly but it faded quickly, too quickly. "You don't want it?" He asked anxiously, unsurely searching for the answer in her eyes.

"No! No. It's not that." She sighed and darted her eyes again. "I've just started to work… Ellie's gone through so much lately and we…" She sighed again. "Maybe it's too soon."

Dan completely understood her concerns. They felt like they were together forever but they were back only for couple of months. And Ellie's reaction could be unpredictable. She mentioned that she would want to have sibling tentatively several times, but she barely met Dan. Another person to share mom and new found dad could be too much for her. "Blair you are not even sure if you are really pregnant. Don't worry about things which aren't worrisome right now." He cupped her face tenderly. "Go. Make yourself a birthday present and take a test."

She smiled. She wanted it. She wanted it since the thought crossed her mind. The real problem was that she's scared. She's scared that she might be not pregnant and that would be huge disappointment. "What if I'm not pregnant?" He felt her inner struggle.

"Then we will do everything to change that." He beamed down at her. She freed a light chuckle liking the answer. "I want it, you know that. If not now then definitely in the future." She nodded happily and kissed him. Then he leaded her to bedroom again. She crawled under the cover and waited as he came back from the wardrobe. 5 minutes later Dan found her asleep peacefully. He just smiled and improved her duvet.

When she woke up 2 hours later she couldn't recall how that happened that she didn't finish her talk with Dan. She groaned silently. Dorota should come soon along with catering staff helping with the party. She walked in the bathroom second time today the nerves got her again. She took a long, deep breath when she noticed three boxes on the washstand and the note.

Waldorf, just do it. And send me the result. It's ok no matter what. Love, H.

Her heart was beating wild but she did it. Next ten minutes of waiting she fidgeted around a room biting her inner lip anxiously. When the alarm rang she approached rashly to the place where she left the sticks.

Three, two, one and she opened her eyes. She sighed with relief. Actually she bended forward, clapped her hands against her lap and sighed with relief. Then she even squealed and jumped up happily, so not Blair. Two clearly red lines, one big blue plus and one lovely word in italic pregnant.

She grabbed her phone and texted Dan with short 'Yes!'. Before she even blinked he texted her back with short 'I love you!'.

She put her hands on her stomach and smiled broadly, heading to the wardrobe losing few happy tears. She was ready. For the day, for the party. For this journey. For everything.

When Dan entered his home hurriedly the party was ready to set. There were cater waiters and guests stared to gather. He searched for her scanning a room eagerly. He stood in the middle of their foyer when he spotted her conversing with her co-workers. She looked amazing. Her glow just spread around the room. She excused herself when she noticed him. She shrugged her shoulders innocently. He tilted his head and smiled delicately, then he ran up to her and held her neck tenderly with his free hand and leaned for several quick, enamored kisses, ignoring her hairdo, perfectly smoothed dress, and other people around them. She caught his jaw and steadied his head longing for relish them more. The enormous bunch of flowers was clenched between them. The busy world around them didn't exist. They didn't care. He pulled away and put his forehead against hers. "I love you." He whispered because his voice cracked unintentionally.

She nodded. "Is that for me?" She asked referring to the bouquet changing a topic to not get emotional herself.

"Yes." He stood back a bit, handing it to her properly.

"You've bought all flowers from the florist." She had to hold it in two hands. She looked up at him. "Thank you, it's beautiful." She knew that this was not birthday bouquet. Could she be more lucky?

"You are beautiful." He said eyeing her. "Beautiful." He emphasized.

She looked down at the flowers shyly. "Thank you." She sighed in content daze. They both looked at each other with huge desire to talk this out, but there were no chance for it now.

"Daddy!" Ellie who was roaming around the guests finally saw him. Hopping to him joyfully.

"Hey." He lifted her up.

"Who gives you them?" Ellie asked Blair leaning to smell the flowers.

"Daddy of course." Blair said proudly

The girl turned her head abruptly that her locks brushed all around Dan's face. "Really?"

"Really." He answered. "Why are you so surprised hmm?" He felt a bit offended that his daughter had no faith in him.

Eileen tilted her head and pooched out her mouth. He mimicked her. She stroked his jaw tenderly like she had in the habit. Then she pecked his lips quickly. "Mmm and that for what?"

"You are so sweet." She said. Blair and Dan laughed at that.

"Would you help me with my outfit for tonight?" He asked Ellie. "I need to change though."

"Mommy picked clothes for you already. They are on your bed."

"Of course she did. But you will accompany me anyway right." She nodded. "Ok. Give mommy kiss. And…" He hurried with her upstairs like she was an airplane her tulle cream dress just blew around her. The room filled with her giggles drew all attention to them.

"What was that?" Amy asked already holding a drink, waking Blair from her reverie.

"What? Nothing?"

"Yeah PDA in the middle of the room, those flowers bigger than The Statue of Liberty…"

"I have birthday today, remember."

"Just curb yourself ok." Blair dismissed the comment and went for a vase. Nothing would destroy her mood today.

.

Party was magnificent families and friends were there. She even met Eric's husband finally. She loved her birthday. Always. That was the only day when she could be in the spotlight. She craved for that when she was younger so much. That day she was the most important. More important than Serena. Well she should be. She hated sharing that day with anyone else. Luckily she grew up from those years ago. She still liked that day but she won't be in center of everybody attention anymore. Her 31 birthday was the first one she literally shared with someone. Someone who stole her spotlight and she was delighted about that.

Dan walked out from the bathroom fresh from the shower, leaned on the door frame and looked at Blair who was holding asleep Ellie in her arms. Cedric was clenched between them in his pajama attire and nightcap. He smiled because Cedric had more outfits than he now. That was amazing how Ellie loved that doll, she bought him a lot of stuff, mostly clothes, and changed him for the day and for the night, still keeping boyish style.

When he tried to lay on his side of the bed next to Ellie, she kicked him out shifting in her sleep occupying whole spot. Blair covered her mouth with her hand, clearing throat and trying to contain her laughter. She patted a spot next to her. The bed was oversized enough, so there was place for him.

He embraced his wife, kissed her nape and sighed. "What is in that head of yours?" She asked.

"Nothing. Everything." He sighed again. "I'm so happy with you. With both of you, or I should say three." She smiled when he caressed her belly. "Are you happy with me? Like I'm with you?" He asked shyly.

"What is that question Dan. Don't be silly. You know I am. The happiest." He nodded.

"I have present for you." He turned to her nightstand.

"I know it's here since the morning."

"You can open it right now if you want."

She did carefully to not wake Ellie. "Book. Yours. Without title."

"This is about you and us. Whole book. Only about it. From my perspective obviously. It can be incoherent because there are just extracts of my thoughts. From various periods of our relationship. When I just must write something. I want you to know how I feel about you and that it will never change. You gave me amazing life I want you to know that."

She kissed his arm appreciated. "You've published it?" She smoothed a cover.

"No. It's only one edition for you." He smiled. "And it doesn't have title as you've noticed because I want you to give the title to it or leave it untitled, it's up to you. It's your book, literally and figuratively. You can go back to it every time you will have doubts." He faded that last line.

"I've never doubt in us Dan. And I'm not going to." Her view got blurry. She wept a tear. "You know I will keep it as tangible prove, and you are not gonna win against me." She said jokingly.

"I'm aware."

"Thank you."

"You welcome." He kissed her forehead. "Sleep?"

"Sleep."

He turned off the lamp and settled comfortably against her. "I love you." He mumbled into her ear.

"I love you too." She responded automatically.

.

.

.

Dan opened his eyes, deep darkness was still outside. He smiled wide because Ellie held his wrist firmly and snored lightly laying on her stomach. He moved delicately and replaced his hand with Cedric, girl shifted on her other side and continued to sleep. He got up from the bed because Blair was nowhere to be seen. He went downstairs and saw small light in the office, then heard despairing cry.

He ran in across the room. "Blair! What happened?" He had tons of awful thoughts. He cupped her red face in his hands. "Did you hurt yourself?" He inspected her body, locked his eyes on her stomach.

"No." She hiccupped breathlessly, starting to cry again.

Then he noticed his book marked in the middle. "I knew I shouldn't have given that to you." He whipped it from her.

"Give me that back." He ignored her and put the book on the highest shelf. She huffed. "Do you really think that it will stop me from getting it back. I'm not a baby."

"Yes I think so." He kneeled in front of her and put almost empty box with tissues on her lap staring at her.

"It's so beautiful. Your words and how you see us. Me." She sniffed. "Even when I was gone." She started to sob again. "I'm so sorry…"

"Blair sweetheart. With all respect but I think your hormones got carried away you." She gave him murderous glare. "Or not. The thing is that you have nothing to apologize me for, and I didn't give that damn book to you to upset you, quite opposite." He kissed her palm warmly. She nodded and sighed. "Have you read about my well-thought-out proposal?" He asked to lighten her mood.

"Yeah." She laughed during tears.

"Awesome huh."

"But it never happened." She remained him. He rolled her eyes. "What am I going to say to Ellie when she asks me how daddy proposed to me?"

"Well…"

"Yeah rather… naked and sweated parents on the couch in loft aren't a good scenario for the kid."

"That planned proposal from the book would be more appropriate… But that was so good moment for that, I somehow knew that you would say yes." He said suggestively and winked at her playfully.

She kicked his leg lightly. "I can't believe that I lower my standards so much. I said yes to the most improper proposal in the history of proposals." She blew her nose.

"But you said yes to the most proper person. It's all what counts." He said seriously.

She looked up at him and sighed contently but irritated in the same time, he is too good with words. "That's incontrovertible fact."

He took another tissue and wiped her cheek tenderly. "It's the middle of the night. You need rest. Taking care of our babies." He lifted her up. She wrapped her hands around his neck. "You have no idea how good is have you in my arms." He said openly.

"Does that mean that you will carry me around since now."

"No. Especially when you will get bigger."

"Watch your tongue, Humphrey."

"I'm just distracting you from the book, which I'm going to burn by the way."

"Libricide Humphrey. You?" He rolled his eyes. "I really want to keep it Dan." She said meekly nuzzling into his neck.

"We will see."

.

.

The beginning wasn't such a blissful time for them as it should be.

They were on completely different levels.

This was their second baby but first pregnancy - together.

He was thrilled and anxious at the same time. He had pregnant wife, that's new. He was trying, ineptly sometimes, but he was trying being cool. He bought all pregnancy books available in bookstore. He started to read them immediately. She wanted to tell him which one was the most valuable, but she didn't feel she should. She wanted to let him experience it on his own. She didn't need to read them she knew everything about baby's development, symptoms, proper diet and so on. She also didn't have heart to tell him that he shouldn't be so worry about baby proofing. Even Ellie didn't reach a light switch being 5. She got past this faze with Eileen. She was so scared about everything. She read all books she could. She baby proofed all possible recesses in her dad's home 4 and half months before expected labor. She attended every class for future moms, she even started yoga for the sake of baby's health and safety deliver.

Now was different. She got through all of this and was simply calm, she could focus on simply enjoying it. They experience it together this time but somehow apart at times. They both didn't know how to behave around each other, and that was new. The apogee was their argument when he signed them in Lamaze class. In short she said that she knew all labor faze and knew how to take care of the baby. He said that he didn't and needed to know. Door slamming ended the discussion.

Later that night she went in the office with mat, huge ball for exercises and Ellie's baby doll. She said to him everything she knew and experienced. How the labor should look like, and what other possibilities could show unexpectedly on their way. She also showed him a book with exercises which they could do together at home. Then she started asking him random questions about baby's care, and ordered him to change, dress and feed a doll. When he passed with flying colors she laughed him out and assured that he didn't have to worry about anything.

They both said honestly and openly what they wanted from each other. Blair showed him also her pregnancy notebook. She put there ultrasound pictures, measurements of her stomach from every week, her own pictures, like her body changed. And letters to the baby. Personal and intimate thoughts and feelings. She wanted to give it to Ellie in the future. And she asked him that he would want to do this with her right now. They would take pictures together, measured her belly together and write there massages together or on their own but in one place.

He was delighted about idea and moved by her word for Eileen after reading.

But there were also things she experienced for the first time. Simply that he was with her this time. That she could spend time with him. This was so much better. Five years ago she was alone, hurt and sad. She didn't realize that she missed so much, until now. She was laying alone in the bed in her father's house, the baby was moving inside of her and she couldn't experience it with one person she really wanted. She missed his touch and she knew that he would take amazing care of her and the baby. Now when they were laying together in their bed and he smoothed her growing belly she remained herself about that time and shied one or two tears. It felt so perfect that the only thing she could do was tighten his embrace and relish the feeling.

Another amazing thing she didn't have opportunity to experience before was pregnancy sex. Her uber-sensitiveness and his uber-gentleness only heightened the sensations for both of them leaving them twitching and out of breath not once.

.

They were sitting in a waiting room to the doctor's office. Blair flipped pages in a magazine casually while Dan fidgeted next to her being awfully quiet. She grabbed his one knee to steady it. "It's ok Humphrey." She said sweetly. He smiled weakly and intertwined their hands.

The woman in advanced pregnancy walked in and sat opposite to them, smiling at Blair.

"Hi." She said friendlily. "Hi." They both answered.

"The beginning hyh." The woman said rubbing her swollen belly.

"Yeah we have first ultrasound today." Blair replied joyfully.

"That's amazing experience. Especially with first baby the anticipation is enormous. With next ones will be better, you know what to expect." She winked at them.

"Oh no. This is not our first baby. We have a daughter."

"Really?" She asked surprised. Dan was a bit uneasy so she concluded otherwise. "Men usually are nervous only with their first. From my experience." She added. "My husband is cool and chill right now he is not bothered even by the twins." She laughed lightly.

"Twins?" Dan asked. He seemed like he forgot about possibility of multiple pregnancy.

"Girl and boy." The woman said proudly.

"That the dream of every parent." Blair laughed.

"That's true. But not a woman I think. I'm only 27 weeks along and see…" She pointed at her stomach. "I look like a woman after due date."

"You look great." Blair assured her genuinely.

"Thank you. As you do." She smiled.

"Blair, Dan please come in." The nurse called them smiling.

When they sat in front of Dr Morgan desk she smiled at them. "Well test results are good and just confirmed what we already know so you are pregnant Blair. I've already written you vitamins and supplements which you need to take and date of our next appointment."

"So tests are fine? Nothing distressing?" She asked.

"Everything is perfectly fine."

"Ok. Ok." She said assuring herself.

"So we can go to the most exciting part. You can change and we will see your baby. I will be right back."

Blair moved to the cubicle. "You are awfully quiet Dan since we've arrived here. What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm sorry. I just… It's new situation for me. And I don't know what to do exactly."

She peeked in from behind the curtain. "I know." She sighed. "Just be yourself. Charming and wonderful self." She laughed lightly. She said that to him once in completely different situation.

"So this is real." He said absently helping her getting onto a chair.

"It is." She smiled still holding his hand while he sat on the stool next to her.

"Ready?" The Doctor asked, stepping the room back. "Yes." She said decidedly. The doctor put an USG wand between Blair's legs, she grimaced a bit at unpleasant pressure, Dan tightened his hold. Then their eyes were glued to the monitor. "Here it is. Perfect little bean." They both sighed loudly.

"Only one?" Dan asked quickly, clearly in daze.

"You hoped for twins? Well maybe next time." She smiled. "I see only one, healthy fetus. I hope it's ok." Doctor smirked playfully.

"Of course. It's perfect. Dan just gets thunderstruck by the possibility."

"Oh you've met Jenna." They nodded. "She has appointment after you."

"Twins wouldn't be so bad I guess." Blair shook their connected hands. "But the most important that's the baby is fine."

"It is fine. And everything before you then." They smiled. "Ok. So let's check a heartbeat." She turned the volume up.

"Wow." Dan exhaled and pressed Blair's hand to his chest.

"Strong, healthy heart."

"Wow." He repeated, looking down at Blair who absorbing the sound. He bended over suddenly to kiss his wife.

When they walked out of the office he couldn't take his eyes off the ultrasound picture, he was completely transfixed. They walked arm in arm. "I can't see anything but I'm excited." He laughed lightly, handing her pictures. "Go somewhere. His Girl Friday and The Apartment are projecting in our theater. Come on Waldorf, I will let you choose."

"Will you? Well that's something new." She said sarcastically. She chose every single movie they have watched. "One condition." He looked at her impatiently. "Gummy bears and popcorn."

He laughed opening the door for her. "As you wish."

.

.

.

Christmas season was in full mode already. Only Humphreys were quite impervious to the Holiday's fuss.

Morning December 23rd. Dan was sitting on the edge of their bed with tape measure in a hand. She stood in front of him and pulled up her camisole. "It's getting bigger and bigger." He said impressed wrapping a tape around her waist.

"I know." She said dreamily. "It's only beginning of 12th week and it's as big as in the beginning of 17th with Ellie. She was such a mite." She said reminiscently. "But." She shook her head. "Finally I can stop hiding it. You remember plan for today."

"I decorate a tree according to your dictation of course." She rolled her eyes. "You and Ellie make Christmas cards which in my opinion you won't be able to send anyway."

"Malcontent Daniel doesn't believe in The American Post Office?"

He ignored her. "Meanwhile we try to chime in about a little brother or sister."

"We have to tell her today, before 4." She stressed. He frowned his brows. "Tomorrow we are telling our family during dinner at my mother's, I have no idea what happened to her she invited everyone." She paused. "Ellie needs to know before them, and before Ben's and Cooper's arriving." The boy and the dog whom Ellie met in Central Park. It emerged that the boy lived with his grandparents, Winston professor of quantum physics and Annabelle professor of organic chemistry, only two blocks away. "You know when they are together is impossible to separate them."

"Just like us." He pulled her closer and kissed the top of her belly.

"Do you like him?" She asked smoothing his wild curls gently.

"Ben? Yeah he is nice, smart boy."

"Polite and caring. It's well-matched pair I think."

"Whoa whoa. They are very little kids." He stressed.

She smacked her lips. "I know. But they are very committed though. They are basically sharing Cooper. He has his own dish in our house."

"Blair what is this about?" He pulled her down to sit on his laps.

"I need to be watchful and attentive. I cannot let toxic people come around her."

He sighed. "You can't choose friends behalf her."

"I know. But I can isolate those awful."

"No you can't."

"If my mom would have done something maybe I wouldn't be so damaged and miserable in my teenage years."

He sighed and kissed her shoulder. "The only thing we can do is teach her choosing wisely on her own. Which she already learned. She is smart and loving. She treats other people right and wants to be treated that way by them. That's way she likes Ben. He looks after her and his pet. He is accommodating and selfless. She will not throw that away for another Serena, Nate or Chuck."

"Don't you think they are too good for this world. I mean what if they wouldn't handle…" She trailed off.

"Ellie wouldn't handle something? I don't understand what are you talking about." He laughed.

"You know what I mean. What if she will be disappointed about reality and how cruel it can be."

"I think she already knows that. And she will be disappointed not once. But I don't worry about her in this way. She is too strong and too smart."

"You think this one will be the same." She put her hand on her belly.

"I don't see any other option, if it's mine of course." He laughed.

She parted her lips truly offended and hit his arm with all force in her fist. "I can't believe it Humphrey." She got up quickly.

"Come here." She tried to catch her wrist. "That was stupid joke, sorry."

"I'm not talking to you." She headed to the bathroom.

"What about Christmas spirit."

"I'm not talking to you." She slammed the door. He groaned. That would be a long day.

.

.

.

Ellie and Blair were sitting at the coffee table in living room focused on their work at homemade Christmas cards. Scattered accessories, markers, bows, ribbons, brocade, Holidays stickers, shiny labels - all Ellie's equipment surrounded them.

Dan was decorating the tree, occasionally interrupted by Blair's comment about irregularly hung fairy lights, or that particular Christmas balls or other ornaments were in wrong places.

When Eileen went for more colorful paper, Blair cut out stars in gold piece of paper and glanced at Dan who was banding over a box with chains. She stopped her work and propped her elbows on a table.

"What?" He asked when he noticed half amazed half disgust expression on her face.

"Humphrey this is the cheapest thing you ever had, well maybe except Serena." She referred to a headband with reindeer's alters on his head.

"Oh we are biting today."

"You look ridiculous Daniel."

He pressed a little button on a band and the alters started to twinkle. She rolled her eyes. "Hmm." He rubbed his chin. "Malcontent Daniel or Ridiculous Daniel, I'm not sure what name for Santa's reindeer is better right now." He flashed her feign bright smile.

She responded the same. "And you against me." She said disappointedly when Ellie sat next to her with red Santa hat with two braids.

"It's fun mommy. You should wear something too."

"Oh no, no, no. I'm not gonna put those hideous things on my head."

Dan beckoned for Ellie. She hopped to him cheerfully. He wrapped around her neck golden chain and whispered something into her ear.

"What is this plotting?" Blair asked while Ellie ran upstairs again. He just shrugged his shoulders.

Two minutes later Ellie stood in front of her, flashing her broad, Dan's smile, holding something behind her little back. "Close your eyes mommy."

Blair backed up a bit. "If these are sparkle angel hair…"

"Just close your eyes." With that she put her mother's old tiara on the top of her head.

"Voila. You are princess." The girl said and smoothed Blair's hair carefully. Blair's heart melted and fluttered, everything at once. She grabbed a girl and kissed every kissable part of her face.

Dan sat next to them pretending to be unfazed. Blair just looked at him lovingly and leaned to kiss his lips, petting his cheek. That stubble was the death of her. She loved it.

He handed her silver chain. "It's going with your crown." He suggested jokingly. She gave in and wrapped it around like scarf.

Then he winked at Ellie knowingly. "Sweetie we actually would want to talk with you about something." Blair started.

Ellie stopped coloring a sleigh on her card and smiled mischievously. "About a baby in your belly." Her smile increased deviously.

"What?! How… You knew?" Blair asked shocked.

"Well I discussed this with Ben. I had my suspicions, he just confirmed them." She shrugged innocently. She started to paint again.

Dan blinked uncontrollably, parting his mouth a bit, his little angel were already solving mysteries with her friend. Shocker? Not really. But still shocking. "Suspicions?"

She sighed clearly annoyed why they bothered her so much. "I asked him if he thinks that mommy is pregnant. He said that she might be because has belly like other pregnant moms, and rubs it and talks to it like other pregnant moms. And those were my thoughts exactly."

"I'm not talking to it."

They both looked at her. "Yes you do."

She huffed, waving her hand. "Why didn't you tell us?"

"I waited as you tell me." She said casually.

"So you are ok with it?" Dan asked assuring them both.

"Sure." She said decidedly. "I hope it will be a boy." She paused thinking. "Yeah. Brother will be better. Boys are cooler generally." She said naturally. They smiled at each other. She drooped a cradle out of sadden and looked at Blair fearfully. "But you will not move out mommy." She asked staring at Blair.

"Of course I'm not." The girl visibly softened. "What that conclusion from?"

"Last time you were pregnant you move out. I don't want you to move out, I want you to stay with us."

Blair got speechless, her eyes got suddenly wet and she couldn't even look at Dan for help. "Nobody is moving out Ellie. We all stay here together." He tried to sound simply. "I have to prepare some nibbles for you and your partner in scheme. What do you want?" Changing topic quickly was the only thing what came to his mind.

"Hmm." She propped herself on the elbow and thought. "Cocoa and French toasts. A lot of French toasts." She smiled. "Ben likes them." She grabbed glitter glue and started to finish her work.

"Ok breakfast for dinner why not." He leaned across the table. "One kiss for daddy." She leaned happily and pecked his lips. "And another." She giggled and pecked him again. "And again." She gave him trial of light pecks just in case. "Oh right." He laughed and stood up. "Blair." He squatted in front of her. She looked like she has just survived tornado or something. "Everything is fine." He assured her. "She is fine, ok." She nodded. He kissed her forehead and headed to the kitchen.

.

.

.

Ben's grandparents brought him over punctually at 4.

"Merry Christmas Mr. Dan." The boy said.

"Merry Christmas Ben. Please come in." Dan said to the boy and his grandparents.

"Nice antlers." The boy smiled unzipping his jacket.

"Oh." He took this off quickly, little embarrassed in front of the older couple.

"Merry Christmas Mrs. Blair. Hi Ellie." The boy said to approaching girls.

"Merry Christmas Benjamin." Blair answered joyfully.

"Come on Ben I set a movie already." Ellie ordered unlaeshing Cooper. "Bye Mr. and Mrs. Hastings."

"Bye darling." And with that she turned around taking Cooper with her, not even waiting for a boy. He quickly threw his cap on the bench and ran after her to living room.

"Maybe you will stay for a tea or something." Blair asked.

"Oh we would love to, but we headed straight at the airport to pick up our son with his family. We were even trying to convince Benjamin to come with as but he refused decidedly because he has a meeting with Ellie." The woman said genuinely.

"And we have for you and kids Annabelle's specialty, cinnamon muffins. Delicious, I warrant you." The man said.

"Oh thank you." Blair said taking a tray. "Ellie was excited too. She really enjoys spending time with Ben and Cooper."

"I hope they don't trouble you much…"

"Of course no." Dan broke in.

"Ok. We will not interrupt anymore." The woman said petting Dan's cheek like a mom. They both felt like she treated them as her kids. Her other son, Ben's father and his wife died in a car accident, that's why he was raising by grandparents. She turned to Blair. "And congratulations! Ben told us about a baby." She kissed Blair's cheek. "You look fantastic."

"Oh." They both were a little surprised.

"We are so happy for you. You are great parents."

"Thank you. We appreciate it."

"Ann. Don't torture them." Her husband pulled her closer to the door. "We will take him before 8." He smiled.

"Bye kids."

"Bye."

Dan closed the door behind them. "Nice pair."

"Everybody knows?" She pouted her lips. "Is it that obvious? Do I look like a tank?"

Dan laughed. "No. Just kids are too perceptive. And nobody really knows. No worries." Gossip Girl times were over years ago. What was posted there no one even cared. Even if this blog was still interested in them, in which Dan greatly doubted, it wouldn't find out about Blair's pregnancy from Ben or his grandparents for that matter.

Ellie and Ben were sprawling out on the couch full after eating that part of toasts. They were watching Mickey's twice upon a Christmas and discussing something lazily meanwhile. Only Cooper was sitting straight between them with one ear up.

Dan smiled at the view and looked around to find Blair. She was in the kitchen.

"Are you chopping an onion?" He tried to joke hearing her sniffing.

"No. I'm peeling apples. They must eat something healthy for a change."

He peeped over her shoulder and saw red eyes. "She is fine Blair." He rubbed her shoulders.

"I know. But you heard what she said." She paused sniffing again. "I've never even thought that she can reason like this… Will that always come back like a boomerang? In the most unexpected moments…"

"Look at me." She turned around reluctantly. "She is fine. She understands everything. You assured her that you are not going anywhere and she is ok." Blair wasn't convinced at all. This was not what supposed to happen at all. "Blair. You are the Queen of this place. One and only. You rule this castle." She finally smiled shyly, rolling her eyes at his saccharine attitude. "You belong here. She knows that. I know that. Stop worrying."

She wrapped her arms around his waist, her bump was already a little 'burden' for their closeness. "I'm awful."

"You? How could you be awful?" The theme song started to sound from TV. Dan hummed into her ear. '…Time to give and receive But the only gift I need Is to share this day and everyday with you… You're my heart, you're my home You're the hope I've always known When I share this day and everyday with you…' Blair's heart pounded in her chest like crazy, the smile grew, the mind cleared. Interesting how things changed. Now excessively sweetness and sentimentality of her husband made her peaceful and gladsome so easily, again and again.

"Those songs in Disney movies are quite catchy." He said teasingly. Then he saw Ben in the corner of his eyes and pulled away. The boy held two empty cups and put them into a sink.

"Thank you it was delicious." The boy said. "And Eileen told me that you confirmed sibling expectation. I have to tell you on faith that she is very excited about that."

"Really?" Dan squinted his eyes playfully.

"Yeah. I'm sure the second one will be as cool as her." He assured them simply, convincedly.

"How old are you sweetheart?" Blair asked half rhetorically, crossing her arms.

"I turned 5 in September."

"I see."

"Want some apple?" Dan handed him a bowl from Blair hands. Boy nodded thankfully and took it.

"Grab the muffins!" Ellie called out.

"Your mom gives us apples…"

"So grab them too. It goes with cinnamon though. Hurry up! Next part is starting." Ben took two cakes from a plate.

"How that goes?" Dan laughed. "Healthy feeding. Mission complete."

"They are giants." She just said, not just slightly impressed.

"End they lived happily ever after." Dan ended a story quietly. He looked at Ellie whose big, brown eyes were wide open and gazing at him. "The story's ended and you are still awake." He said smiling. "Look Cedric got bored." He chuckled silently. Ellie just smiled not dropped her eyes off him. Dan improved her cover and returned the gaze. "Have you written a letter to Santa?" He asked casually. That was Rufus's tactic when he was a child, accost to dead. Little Dan felt asleep 10 minutes after his fast taking, usually in the middle on the sentence.

"No." She answered decidedly.

"No?" He was surprised. "Then how he will find out what you would like to get hmm?"

"I don't want anything." She paused. Dan looked down at her curiously. "I have everything." She declared, slipping her small hand in his and then nestling against him. His eyes filled with tears. They didn't say anything else. As the Humphrey's it's weird. But the words weren't necessary. He wanted to revel in this feeling as long he could. He kissed the top of her head and wrapped his free arm around her tiny body, holding the tears at bay.

He didn't know how long they were laying like this. When her hold loosened and breath steadied, he moved gently. He kneeled at her bed and observed her in awe. He smoothed her cheek lightly with the back o his hand. And left her bedroom.

Downstairs he found Blair on the couch in her pajama and woolen cardigan watching The Nanny reruns. Living room was lightened only by Christmas tree and vanilla candles on the coffee table. He sat next to her, she instinctively moved into his armes. She chuckled at something in the sitcom. "We forget about stockings on the fireplace." She smiled.

"Yhm." She felt that he was a bit off.

He didn't react at really funny scene, she heard sniffing instead. She upped her head. "Dan?" She asked startled, seeing him in tears. She turned off TV. "Are you upset with me? I was playing around in the morning. I didn't mean to resent you…"

"No Blair I'm not. I know. It's not that." She waited for the explanation. "Do you know that Eileen doesn't want presents? No toys or things. Nothing. That she didn't write a letter with gifts list to Santa?"

"Well, I just overheard when she was talking with my dad over the phone that she was writhing thank-you letter to Santa."

"She said that she has everything." His voice cracked.

"Because she has." Blair sighed. "You were her one and only wish since I remember. You are her everything." She said quietly. That was hard for her to acknowledge that she felt sometimes excluded from their team. That Ellie preferred to be with Dan in some moments. But it's only sometimes. And her jealousy was a flick. And she knew that she owned that to them. "She has you now. She doesn't need anything else."

He hung in a pause. "Thank you." He whispered. "That you make her so perfect."

"She is. But this is not only my merit. If not your elements in her it wouldn't be possible." She replied honestly smoothing his thigh soothingly. He sighed embracing her tighter. After several moments of silence she asked casually. "Are you up for a movie? Or if you are tired we can go to bed."

"If you don't mind I would like to rest."

"Ok then." She grabbed his hand. "Let's go." She blew out the candles and leaded them upstairs.

Ellie jumped out of an elevator in the penthouse and ran to the living room. Everyone was already there. Eleanor, Cyrus. Harold, Roman, Lilly and Rufus, Eric, Rob, Aaron, Scott and Shelby. Eleanor invited even Alison with Jeff. But they couldn't make it. They were snowed in, in Hudson. This caused huge disappointment in Ellie. She thought she would meet everyone today. It ended with 40 minutes phone call with her grandmother.

She hopped in with broad beam on her face, still wearing cap with snowflakes on it. Her smile was infectious. She couldn't wait to see them all and vice versa. Everyone's attention went immediately on her. She felt amazing with it. She sat on the edge on the sofa next to Eric and sighed contently.

"Hey Ellie." Eric greeted her. "What's up?" He asked unwrapping her woolen scarf and taking her cap off.

"Great. We have great news for you." She said happily.

"Really?" Eric asked intrigued, helping her unbuttoning her coat.

"Hi everyone." Dan and Blair said.

"Where have you been? We thought you wouldn't show up?" Eleanor asked irritated by their lateness.

"Blair as always couldn't decide what to wear. True Ellie." The girl nodded.

Blair rolled her eyes unbinding coat belt. "Oh. Exaggeration as always." Dan took off her coat.

"Blair darling. You are pregnant!" Eleanor almost shouted reedy. Bunch pair of eyes looked at her abdomen waiting for the clarification. Blair chose that close-fitted dress purposely to expose her bump. She said that from now she was going to show it off.

"Mother thank you for that subtle announcement. Observant as never."

"Is that true?" Rufus asked unsurely.

"Yes." Dan said proudly looking at Blair with broad smile.

Ellie clapped her hand happily. "I told you great news." They all laughed.

"Fantastic." Cyrus said. "Finally someone is taking care of making babies in this family." He looked at other represents of young generation. "What about you guys?"

Eleanor groaned. "Cyrus leave them alone."

"Aunty Jenny." Ellie called out when Jenny went out of a kitchen and ran to her.

"Hey sweetie." She lifted her up. They had a special bond since hospital time. Every single day they talked with each other over the phone or Skype when Jenny was out of the city. She even came back to New York more often than before especially for her niece, and they spent time together. Dan even stopped answering calls from Jenny, he gave the phone straight to Ellie because he knew that she was not calling to him anyway. "Did I miss something?" She asked suspiciously.

"Mommy is pregnant." Ellie informed her.

"And why I'm not surprised." Jenny said mockingly, meeting Blair's and Dan's rolled eyes.

Congratulations and questions spread towards them. Blair was delighted being in center of their attention. She answered patiently every single one.

"Seizing the opportunity for announcement. I would want to tell you that I'm going to take retirement. Not literally of course but I going to resign from running Waldorf Design."

"Mom…" Blair was in shock.

"I'm burnt out. This is not satisfying work for me anymore. I need a break and rest. Taking care of my granddaughter. Grandchildren soon. This is deliberate decision."

"And what with company? Are you going to sell it?" Harold asked.

"No. Blair doesn't want to take charge of company for obvious reasons. This is not her pair of shoes. We agreed on it years ago and I accepted it." Blair breathed the sigh of relief. She thought her mother would try to convince her once again on it. "So I was thinking about solution, and I would want to ask Jennifer to take a helm after me in Waldorf Design." Attention turned to Jenny who was lost in conversation with Ellie. "What do you think Jennifer?" Eleanor asked her.

"Oh sorry. About?"

Eleanor huffed irritated. "About taking charge in Waldorf Design."

"Me?" She asked surprised.

"Yes I think it's perfect. You can bring only good to this company. Talent and fresh ideas. And most importantly you are the family and I trust you." Dan and Blair shared a knowing look. They both were surprised. A lot. Blair never expected that her mother would give away her well most important 'baby' so soon and easily.

"Well this is really flattering." She paused. "I will think about it."

"Think about it? There is nothing to think about." Eleanor retorted.

"I've always wanted to work under my own name. Not for someone else."

"You will be CEO of one of the most known and respected fashion house in the world. You could want whatever you want. You can name your designs like you wish, the company just state untouched as a mark."

"Eleanor thank you. But like I said I will think about it. And I will give you an answer as soon as possible." Jenny said composedly and rationally.

"Say yes." Ellie pleaded. "You will be back to New York and we could see each other more often."

"And that's the only argument which can convince me." She smoothed her back lovingly.

"I really don't understand…" Eleanor started.

"Mother leave her alone. She said she will think about it and give you an answer." Blair said and turned to Jenny. "I really think is great idea Jen. You should consider it seriously. I'm not gonna convince you, if you don't want it's ok. But I think nothing better could happen to this company than you as boss and designer." Blair said genuinely to her. Blair knew that she didn't fit for this job. She was not CEO material for the company like this and she was decidedly not a designer. She was always picturing herself as a trendsetter and chief in the fashion magazine. Her mother knew that also.

"Ok. Somebody has other news maybe." Cyrus chimed in quickly.

"Well Rob and I want to come back here to New York." Eric said sitting next to Lilly on the couch.

"Really?" Lilly asked. He nodded. "My boys with mommy finally." She leaned to kiss them both.

"Mom do you know how badly that sound?"

"I don't care." She kissed them anyway.

"So if we are saying thing…" Scott stared shyly. "Shelby and I are getting married here in New York. So if you could reserve free first weekend of May would be great."

"Wow that's fantastic." Rufus said. He couldn't be happier. All his kids were in the good path in their lives now. Finally.

"Baby on the way, maybe?" Cyrus asked.

"What is wrong with you today?" Eleanor scolded him.

They laughed. Cyrus was so sincere and kind that nobody was ever mad at him. "No. We are not planning anything in near future."

"Shame."

"And well you can cancel your plans for February wedding if anything." Aaron said.

"What! Why?"

"I said that Rebecca didn't come because she was at her parents. But it's not true. We are not together anymore. She called off the engagement. She met someone…"

"Unbelievable." Blair said. "But overall it's good." Everyone looked at her in shock. "I had feeling that's something is wrong with her. Who in right mind chooses his wedding date on Valentine's Day? Aaron I'm telling you, that's better when you got rid of her." Dan bit her arm lightly to calm her down. "What?" She huffed annoyed.

"Nothing."

"Well technically she got rid of me."

"I'm so sorry son." Cyrus said getting sad immediately.

He laughed. "I'm fine really. I'm not despairing or something. I'm just embarrassed a bit."

"You have no reason to be." Eleanor said consolably.

The collective sigh filled the room.

"So Lilly, dad was something interesting in van der Humphrey household going on lately?" Dan asked half jokingly to break a silence.

Rufus shifted awkwardly, Lilly gulped hardly. "What interesting can run in two boring grans?" He said dismissively. "When you don't give us Ellie, we are sitting in chair in slippers, really." Lilly threw him warning look while rest of them chuckled.

Only Dan rolled his eyes. "Yeah and now what really happened?"

"Well this is not so merry news. And we really didn't want to tell that to you. At least not today." Lilly said sadly, seriously.

"Serena?" Eleanor asked.

"No. Serena's situation is without changes. She texted Eric that she is going to spend Christmas and New Year in Alabama. She shows up like four times a year… and voyages again. I'm also occasionally getting medical bills to settle up. This is how I learn where she is in that moment."

"So?" Dan asked harshly couldn't care less about Serena's dim life.

"Dan." Blair admonished him a bit.

"I just want to hear essence of the case. What happened?"

"Lilly got call yesterday from the public attorney. About Chuck." Rufus said in one breath.

Dan lifted himself up abruptly. "Where are you going?" Blair caught his hand to stop him.

"Sorry." He kissed her palm. "I'm not gonna hear about that psychopath." He went to find Ellie and Jenny who was gone for couple minutes. She sighed not less irritated.

"What have he done this time?" Harold asked not so pleased to hear it though.

"He is accused of financial defalcation, money laundering, tax evasion, human trafficking and murder." Lilly listed, seemed to be unfazed.

"What!?" Eleanor cried in shock.

"Oh mother please. Don't act like you are surprised." Blair said annoyed about the topic of conversation and her mother reaction. "We all knew why he was hiding in Switzerland all this time."

"I know Blair but I thought it was all about money. Not about life of actual people."

"Because he has never traded people for things before?" Blair laughed bitterly. Her mother looked at her clueless. "And Bart fell from the roof on his own, of course." Eleanor's mouth opened.

"Blair is right." Lilly said. "He was head of smuggling young girls process from East Europe to bawdy houses in West. And they have proves that he killed his father. FBI was looking for him in years actually. When he came in Austrian police hand they extradited him immediately."

"If that all is true and he wouldn't find a good attorney he won't get out of prison." Cyrus concluded.

"He called for that actually. He asked for money for defense attorney. He doesn't have fund even for that. Bass Industries and all capital are national properties now."

"You are not going to help him right?" Harold wanted to assured himself. She shook her head no.

"They'll give him life imprisonment. Determinate life sentence to be exact." Cyrus elucidated them.

"He better get." Eleanor said still thunderstruck.

They all suffered because of Charles Bass not once and on too many levels. Eleanor almost lost her company. Harold and Roman found themselves in the middle of the fire in the house in Hamptons. Rufus almost died and his marriage with Lilly almost crashed. Lilly almost lost her husband and she actually lost her daughter but to that could add her maternal failure too. Not to mention Blair's and Dan's occurrences, where on the top was dramatic ending of their blissful months in Rome. Shooting. Hospital. Surgeon, who used to work for Italian mafia, and only thanks to that he didn't call a police.

Ellie and Jenny came back to entertain the group. Everybody returned to the good mood quite easily. He was not a person for whom any of them should be sorry or worried. They all sat finally at the table for dinner.

Blair came in the kitchen. Dan was starring outside the window sipping water. "Hi." She said.

"Hi." He answered.

"Come on everybody are cheerful again, you are the only one missing."

"Have you told them?" He asked quietly.

"No." He nodded gratefully. He was the one who didn't want to tell their family that he got shot from Chuck at night in their rent apartment in Italy. Who was the one who actually covered Blair. Bullet only scraped his arm. But poor fact was explicit and terrifying. "It's so perfect now that I sometimes forget how hard was at the beginning." She leaned and kissed his shoulder. She lanced their fingers and leaded them to the dining room. "I know that you don't want to hear it but he will never get out of a jail."

They came back home in great moods. Serena and Chuck flew away from their thoughts as fast as they showed there. Ellie was already asleep. Another eventful day. Dan went to put her down while Blair went to their bedroom.

This tight dress was nightmare and punishment for her all day. She freed herself quickly and stood in front of the mirror only in her underwear.

She loved how she looked like.

She rubbed her bump and smiled wide. She turned to look at her profile, yes it was visible very clearly. She turned back at front and cupped her breast. She hissed in pleasure.

That was another thing. She felt amazing. No aching. No pains. No nausea. Even no cravings. She had only that 'good' sensitiveness from the very beginning that made her crazy. The same was with Ellie. She didn't have any typical syndromes. Just that ridiculous hot drive, which back then she could control quite successfully because it wasn't widely awaken by actual sex with Dan. She even started to think that all was Dan's gens 'fault' which affected on her so gloriously. She felt silly thinking like that but she started to believe in it. Her first pregnancy years ago was nothing less that wicked. And suddenly she felt bad because she started to believe in another thing that people love more their children when they have them with people whom truly love. She also knew that if losing the baby would have happened to her now she wouldn't have survived it.

"I like the view." Dan said approaching the room smirking at her. She gave him faint smile. "Hey." He walked into their bedroom and stood in front of the mirror, standing behind her. He put his head on her shoulder and wrapped his armed around her mid section. They looked at each other in the reflection.

"You know that is my third pregnancy."

"I know." He said naturally.

"And the second one I want and enjoy." She confessed shamefully.

His eyes were locked in hers. "And that is not true." She dared to lift her eyes at him. "You were young and confused that's true. But if I can recall you loved and cared about that baby. The only thing you wanted was well being and happiness of that baby." She sighed unconvinced. "Look. If everything would have went differently. I would have rolled my sleeves up and taken that bull by the horns and finally fought for you properly." He said confidently.

"Really? You would?" She asked meekly, hopefully.

"Yep." He tried to sound convincedly. The true was that he wouldn't. He would have moved across the country with zero desire to look at her and Chuck and to play an uncle to her baby. But he said that because he knew what she wanted to hear right in that moment. He didn't want to deceive her. He just knew that she needed to stop blaming herself and feeling bad about that, because she had no reason to. "And I would have pampered you and we would have loved and spoiled that kid together and now had that brilliant brood." He added. And somehow she believed him. He gave her peace in heart - again, as always. All concerns and guilt disappeared so easily. She found her center again and again. She felt magic sometimes with him. And she was glad because scenario he pictured to her was the only one she could imagine herself. She really didn't know what would have happened to her otherwise. She didn't want even to think about it. She felt relief and calmness.

They still were standing in front of the mirror looking at each other. She put her hands on his on her stomach and out of nowhere she hissed and felt that burning heat and electricity over her body, again. That frustrated her at some point.

"What?" Dan asked sympathetically, tightened his embrace she hissed again.

"I have another confession to make." She paused and took a deep breath. "I'm horny."

The smug grin appeared on Dan's face. "Then I'm going to do something about it with a will." He kissed the crook of her neck.

She smacked her lips. "It's not only now or… or when we are having sex. I'm in halfway orgasm state all the time." His eyes went wild and darkened immediately. "And I really don't need much to lose it." She paused. "And worst… I'm not able to control it anymore."

"And you have to touch yourself." She nodded embarrassed. "It's ok Blair." He smiled genuinely. She became very sensitive in a very good way especially her nipples. They were calling her attention all day long, wanting to be rubbed and massaged. She's been having a bunch of orgasms every day, some even just through nipple stimulation alone. She couldn't keep her hands off of them and this leaded to other things. Five minutes of fondling nipples, and she was soaking wet, and without much thought, her right hand would always find its way south, sliding into her panties, giving her clitoris a work out, while her left hand kept playing around with her tits. No matter home, work, her mother house.

"I orgazmed three times at my mother's." She whispered blushing.

"Without me?" He said with mock grudge. She rolled her eyes. "You know you always can ask me for help. Or not even asking. I'm at your service. I'm willing to be in your service." He roamed his hands over her breast. Her body reacted immediately. "And I can come by your office and take you for lunch." He said suggestively unclasping her bra. He slid her straps off and her breasts sprung free. He then grasped them in his hands. She was right, her hard and deep red nipples demanded his attention. She lifted her eyes to his in the mirror and could see that they now had a sparkle of passion in them.

She arched and put her head on his shoulder. "Sex break…" She kissed his jaw and moaned when he squeezed her breasts.

"Exactly." His hand sliding down to her tummy and he gently held it, she sighed. His right hand fondled one of her tit, the second was already sucked and licked by his mouth. She was squirming amazingly at his touch. They knew she couldn't hold it much more. His left hand started to go lower and lower until it reached her center under her panties. "You're really wet." He said breathlessly. He ran his fingers down, inside her opening and put them inside without warning. She clung to him immediately grabbing his both hands. He pushed his fingers in and out while his thumb rubbed her clit. Her hold on him tightened and she came off almost on the spot. Several strokes and she cried his name with the groan and weak legs filling his hand with her fluids. He caught and steadied her. "Lie down Waldorf." He said with deep, harsh voice and laid her down on the bed as she pulled him down on top of her.

She started to grab and pull at his shirt, running her nails up and down his back as he hovered himself over her. "I want more." She murmured into his mouth. He ran his hand down her body and slipped it into her panties again, hearing her gasp into their kisses. "Just fuck me already." She said with almost anger. All he could do was grin. Kissing his way down her neck and lightly biting her nipples, he made his way down her body. Finally, reaching her waist band, he pulled off her panties in a swift movement. He moved his face closer and caught her delicious scent of her still wet and pulsing center. He plunged his tongue into her, causing her to gasp in relief and licked up to her clit, flicking it at the end. Grabbing onto his hair, she pushed his face deeper and deeper into her. He worked his tongue up and down her and sucked on her clit every so often, making her moan louder and louder with each movement. When he thought she was starting to near climax, he slowly pushed one finger into her, causing her to shiver, and then added another. Moving his fingers quickly as he suckedon her clit he could feel her body start to tense and her grip on his hair tighten. She clamped her thighs tight and rode his face hard. He traced his tongue around her clit and she screamed. His face and mouth were covered with her wetness, and he felt her heat as she convulsed against him. Her thighs twitch as her orgasm coursed through her body. Her body shook and almost primal moan escaped her clenched teeth.

Finally she relaxes, and he softly kissed her sensitive spot for a moment. She then pulled him up to her face so that she could taste herself. They kissed intensely for a few more moments. Between kisses they looked at each other she had a huge grin on her seemed to be enough encouragement for Dan as he began to take his shirt off. Blair began loosening his belt, removing his pants and underwear. She stroked his erect penis. He looked down at her exposed body and then positioned himself between her legs, sitting up. She wrapped her thighs around him crossing her ankles. He reached for her both hand and linked their fingers.

"Daaan." She mumbled with anticipation. "I'm ready." He smiled coyly as ready as she and pushed into her with a groan. She gasped tightening her hold bucking and raising her hips for more of him. He worked back and forth slowly. She began to moan biting her lower lip and yell with pleasure and she shoved herself further and harder onto him. Her body coiled in front of him, her face flashed prompting only more lust and arousal in him. He knew it wouldn't be long, so he took his time, slowly pushing in and slowly pulling out. He loved to go slowly, lengthening the sensation, a feeling almost like tickling, pleasurable and uncomfortable at the same time, but immensely satisfying. Her gasping increased like rapidness of his movements and he knew they both would be gone soon. Finally catching the right spot, he quickened the pace, working hard to stay with her writhing body. Her breathing became quicker and deeper. He was close too but when he heard her loud moaning, sighing and indescribable sounds this gave him the extra energy needed to be even faster. Then she outburst her orgasm loudly arching her back and wriggling her head, she started to ease off but he knew if he kept going for his own release she could go longer. Further waves of ecstasy arose again in her and they came off together hard crying loudly, trembling and breathless.

He collapsed onto her but not crushing her with his weight, panting. When he felt her hold loosened faintly and her hands not gripping his anymore, his eyes flew open. "Blair." She didn't react. "Blair." He patted her cheek lightly.

She smiled lazily with still closed eyes. "I can't move." She was exhausted.

"Are you ok?" She heard the concern in his voice.

"Yhm." She muttered positively still smiling.

"Are you sure? If we…" He searched her face.

"Dan." She managed to catch his wrist and put their hands on her chest. He felt her pounding heart and it didn't calm him. Her second hand landed on her forehead. He smoothed the side of her head. "I'm just mind-blowingly numb." She paused. "In a good way."

He sighed. "You sure the baby is all right? That was… intense." He lowered his voice.

"When mommy is fine the baby is fine, and I'm great." She didn't stop smiling, freeing the tired chuckle.

He finally smiled and kissed her chastely. She lay on her back and he lay on his side, next to her, propping himself up with his arm. He began to rub her tummy, something she enjoyed before pregnancy, but found it even more special now that she was pregnant. He grabbed the sheet and covered them loosely.

Then she managed to shift herself to the side and face him. "You wore pregnant woman out." She laughed lightly, hooking her arm over his waist pulling him closer.

"And pregnant is the key word. No more of this." He said decidedly.

"What?! I can't agree on that." She backed her head down. "And you promise me to visit me in the office from time to time." She unashamedly remained him. "Is highly inaptly getting someone's hopes up that way."

"I mean. No more of this, like this." He stressed smiling. "Slowing down a bit." Well on that she could agree.

"Dan."

"Yeah."

"You would like a boy or a girl?" She asked curiously.

"I don't have preferences." He said. "But I assume you want a girl." He smirked.

"I don't know." She said dreamily. "Another adorable tiny girl would be great. All these couture mini clothes, I could dress her up, and do hair…"

"Oh I get it. You would do everything you can't with Ellie." He mocked and laughed, pressing her closer to him. She frowned annoyed. He squinted his eyes on her. "I'm just saying that Ellie is rotationally wearing cotton leggings and Chanel dresses, and she definitely doesn't have a hairdo."

He was right. She resisted all hair clips or ribbons, she was wearing only loosen, unruly curls. "Maybe you have slight point." She put her lips straight, painting circles on a scar on his arms. "But a boy would be great too. Ellie wants brother and it would be fairer to you." She smiled.

"Fair to me?"

"You and three girls around. It could be draining." She said playfully.

"I love my girls." He said sincerely. "And I wouldn't mind to have another."

She looked up at him and kissed his lips, then pressed her forehead back on his chest. "Have you thought about names?"

"No. Not really. Do you have something in mind?" He wanted to know.

"No. Nothing specific. I just thought that it should be something short. Like Ellie, Dan, Blair." She said yawning.

"Hym. Ok then, we are going to find something short." She yawned again into his chest, drifting slowly into sleep. He kissed the top of her head and let her asleep peacefully.

Dan opened his one eye unwillingly hearing a mild knock on the door.

"Mom? Dad?" He heard soft voice of his daughter. He rose on his feet. Blair woke up on his rapid moves. "Mommy?"

She froze when she realized that they were still naked. "Did you lock it?" She whispered standing quickly wrapping herself with a sheet.

"Daddy." She knocked again.

Dan grabbed his pajama pants from an armchair. "I don't know… No. I don't remember." He put them on along with a T-shirt, while Blair hid in the bathroom. He caught a doorknob, the door was open. He didn't know why she decided right today not to just walk in their bedroom as she always did. But he was enormously grateful.

"Merry Christmas daddy!" She approached the room with Cedric in her arms.

"Merry Christmas Ellie!" He replied joyfully.

"Your T-shirt is inside out daddy." She pointed out.

"Oh." He pulled the fabric forward to look at it.

Blair walked out the bathroom wrapping her robe clumsily. "Merry Christmas mommy!" The girl was distracted for a moment.

Blair laughed. "Merry Christmas sweetie." She kneeled to kiss her lips.

"What we are going to do today?" The girl asked.

"Well I hoped for lazy morning and afternoon in pajamas under the blanket." Dan said.

"And I hoped for making a snowman." Ellie said solemnly.

Blair laughed. "We can arrange that after lazy morning." He smiled down at her. "Come on." He extracted his hand for hers. "We need to eat something before right." She grabbed it happily.

"Mommy." She beckoned for Blair.

"I will join you in a minute." She smiled.

When they arrived to the kitchen Dan looked at Ellie with amazement. She put Cedric on the table and sat on the chair swaying her legs perkily stretching her arms flatly on the table. When he was a child the first thing he'd done in the Christmas morning was running out from a bed to living room and check the Christmas tree hoping for presents. He remembered that when he'd got soccer ball and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer he felt the happiest kid on New York. He had demanded Rufus to read the book to him in one afternoon and he'd repeated that reading until New Year's Eve.

"Are you not curious what The Santa's brought to you?" He asked inquisitively.

She looked at him like at an insane person. "You know that I didn't ask for presents." She said pointedly. "So there are no presents." She said unaffected. She wasn't sad.

"I think goodhearted people can hope for something anyway." He said, peeking at the tree, imply her to look too.

She jumped off the chair and turned around. "Oh." She reacted on the pile of gifts wrapped in colorful paper. She threw him glazed look.

"Go and check them out." He suggested, taking out the bowl from the cupboard. She shook her head no. "Why?" She didn't say anything. "You want me to go with you." She nodded.

They kneeled down in front of the tree.

"Oh. How many presents." Blair said exaggerating her fake surprise. She sat on the couch not far from them.

"How is that possible?" The girl asked baffled.

"You are thoughtful and selfless Ellie." Dan said seriously. "And that is always appreciated." She looked at him listening carefully. He grabbed first bag. "That's for Cedric." The girl smiled widely, finally convinced to open them on her own.

"What was that?" Blair asked Dan who sat next to her.

"She was just little confused that she actually got something."

"That's for you, mommy." She handed her small box. Blair looked at Dan darkly.

"We agreed on no presents, Dan." She whispered.

"And for you." Ellie gave him an envelope.

"Oh really Blair." He said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes. "What is this?" He waved an envelope in front of her.

"My first." She opened it and saw diamond bracelet pendant.

"As you know on your bracelet is only one. Now you obviously need the second for the sake of my metaphor." He smirked pointing at her belly. "You can hang that to it later." She stroked his jaw fondly. "So it is not real present. It's symbolic complement of previous one." He defended himself.

"You are sweet Humphrey." That was all she managed to say.

"And…" He lifted up an envelope.

"Before you open it remember that you love me unconditionally." He frowned his eyebrows. "And that I'm mother of your children." He squinted. "And that you gave me something as a possession saying that I can do whatever I want with it." She recalled bravely.

"Are you sure this is a present? After that introduction…" He concluded.

She ignored him. "You can open it now." She ordered and bit her lip.

"Contract." He looked closely. "My… your book will be published." He pouted his lips.

"Are you mad?"

"No." He sighed. "It's yours. I meant it. But are you ok with that? It's quite intimate… We will be exposed again…"

She looked away for a second. "I know. I know how hard we've fought for privacy. But you have time for editing it or something. To change names for example."

"On Clair and Dylan." He said in a jokey sort of way.

She rolled her eyes. "I know everybody will know anyway what it is about. But it will be a hit Dan. They agree immediately when I've proposed it to publisher. Your name means success they said."

"No they didn't." He contradicted quickly.

"Yes they did." She smirked. "Publisher will contact you after New Year's Day." She hugged him. "I want everybody to know what I have here with you. Making rest of the world jealous…" She said playfully.

"Oh so this is about that."

"No. This is too good to dust on my shelf." She tangled his hair a bit. "I have all of it in my heart and memories.' She paused locking her eyes on his. "It could be a novel unto souls reassurance." He looked at her like he would have seen her for the first time in his life.

"So you want to do it." She nodded decidedly. "Are you sure?" She nodded again. "Then ok."

"Thank you." She kissed him fully, getting lost slowly.

They pulled away when they felt someone standing before them. Ellie was holding her new book, showing them the cover - Anne of Green Gables - with clear target. "You are going to read that to me." She ordered him.

"Yes miss." He obliged laughing lightly, pulling her up on his lap.

"I have a feeling you will like it." Blair said light-heartedly to Ellie playing with her daughter's locks.

After the breakfast, the lazy morning stared with full mode. The Blair and Dan of them were stretched out on the couch under the fluffy blanket with Ellie between them.

She looked at the mistletoe and still chewing her pancake, asked them. "Why do people kiss under the mistletoe?"

"It's tradition. Associated with the legend." Blair said. "But dad knows it better, so maybe he will tell that." Ellie turned her head to him.

"Wanna long with details or short conclusion?" He didn't know why he was asking.

"Long!" Ellie said with excitement adjusting comfy between them.

"Well the story goes that Mistletoe was the sacred plant of Frigga, goddess of love and the mother of Balder, the god of the summer sun. Balder had a dream of death which greatly alarmed his mother, for should he die, all life on earth would end. In an attempt to keep this from happening, Frigga went at once to air, fire, water, earth, and every animal and plant seeking a promise that no harm would come to her son. Balder now could not be hurt by anything on earth or under the earth. But Balder had one enemy, Loki, god of evil and he knew of one plant that Frigga had overlooked in her quest to keep her son safe. It grew neither on the earth nor under the earth, but on apple and oak trees. It was lowly mistletoe. So Loki made an arrow tip of the mistletoe, gave to the blind god of winter, Hoder, who shot it, striking Balder dead. The sky paled and all things in earth and heaven wept for the sun god. For three days each element tried to bring Balder back to life. He was finally restored by Frigga, the goddess and his mother. It is said the tears she shed for her son turned into the pearly white berries on the mistletoe plant and in her joy Frigga kissed everyone who passed beneath the tree on which it grew. The story ends with a decree that who should ever stand under the humble mistletoe, no harm should befall them, only a kiss, a token of love. That's how the mistletoe became the emblem of Love which conquers Death." [1] He ended.

"That's nice." She said pondering. "I bet people don't know this story and kiss under it anyway just out of habit."

Dan and Blair looked at each other knowingly. Observant conclusion. People really did things mechanically, not exploring the topic.

"You think when I kiss you next to the mistletoe, I will break the tradition?" He asked Ellie playfully.

"No." She smiled. "Ben thinks that too." She said.

Dan furrowed his eyebrows. "What does Ben have to do with it?" He asked without clue.

"We kissed next to mistletoe." She said openly, didn't seem to be abashed. Blair swore she saw pure anger in Dan's eyes. The boy was done. There lasted zero sympathy for him in Dan's.

"On the lips?" Dan asked with a tone raised voice. Blair kicked him under the blanket.

"Noooo." The girl emphasized with a giggle. "On the cheek. I don't kiss everybody on the lips. It's special." She said naturally. Dan softened.

The girl rose on her feet and leaned to kiss him – on the lips – next to mistletoe. Then turned around quickly and did the same to Blair. She jumped quickly from the sofa and ran upstairs for the painting set. She decided to paint, suddenly.

"Have you heard that? The boy took advantage of her." He said with full seriousness. "I have to keep my eye of him."

"Are you joking right? Are we playing reverse role? You lectured me last time that we can't live her life for her and choose her friends."

"That was different. I didn't have full picture…"

"And now you have? Dan I know she is daddy's girl and you are all overprotective…" He was ready to protest. "They are innocent like newborns. This is sweet Humphrey, just for tradition. And the best thing is that she told us about it. That she trusts us." The tension left him somehow. She was right. "We kiss around her and she knows that's good thing. And she knows that's special because we kiss only each other… on the lips." She smirked.

"I know I'm a bit irrational. But she is so tiny. And I don't want her to grow. She is perfect like she is." He confessed.

"She is perfect and she still will be when she gets older." He nodded. "I don't even wanna think what you will gonna do when that little lady becomes a teenager." She teased him with pure delight.

"I'm brushing this thought away." He declared playfully. "Wanna do the special?" He winked at her and leaned for the kiss – on the lips.

She answered by welcoming him fervently.
