"Come on Dipper! Why can't you just take a shot for love?" Mabel asked her brother as she fruitlessly tried to make him confess his feelings for Pacifica.

"Because I don't want to be humiliated when she turns me down. Also, I don't want to get a restraining order put on me by her parents. I'm walking a fine line as is after the party." Dipper said.

"But isn't love worth a restraining order?"

"No. Look, Mabel, if I do tell her, it's gonna happen naturally. You can't just force things like this."

"Fine. But promise me you'll talk to Pacifica next time you see her, ok?"

"Ughh, ok."

Ever since Dipper had told Mabel how he felt about Pacifica, she'd been trying to convince him to tell her. She'd suggested some of the strangest ways to tell her too, such as spraypainting his feelings about her on the road leading to the Northwest mansion. Not the greatest plan. Dipper, DID want to tell Pacifica, he just didn't know how. Then, he heard Stan calling to him. "Hey Dipper! Run down to the hardware store and get me some more superglue will ya? I need it for a new attraction!"

Dipper sighed. "Alright." He said grudgingly.

*ten minutes later*

Dipper was walking to the hardware store. But when he turned the corner *BAM* he walked into someone else. "Whoops, sorry 'bout that!" He said.

Dipper stood up and offered his hand out to the person he had run into. Then he realized who it was. "P-Pacifica!? Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" He said, nervously.

In his head, he thought, "Wow, isn't this cliched..."

"Oh, it's no problem Dipper. Are you ok?" Pacifica said.

What she was referring to was the fact that Dipper was blushing, his face now red at seeing his new crush again. "Wha- oh, yeah. I'm fine. What about you?" Dipper said helping her up."

"I'm good. What are you up to today?" She said.

"Oh, uhh, just going to the hardware store. What about you?"

"Ugh, getting away from my stupid parents. They only talk about how I 'disgraced the family name' and all that."

"That's dumb of them. You were brave and did the right thing. You're not a disgrace, you're perfect." Dipper said.

As Pacifica started blushing too, Dipper realized what he said. He started turning even redder. "Uh, so... Yeah..." Was all he could manage now.

"Hey, we should hang out sometime, instead of just bumping into each other. Here's my phone number." Pacifica said as she wrote some digits out on a piece of paper.

"Call me sometime, ok?" As Pacifica walked past him and around the corner, she celebrated in her head. She had no idea why giving Dipper her phone number was such a big deal to her.

As for Dipper, he stood dumbfounded that the girl of his dreams had just told him she wanted to hang out with him.
