Magnus's Pov

Walking up to a familiar building, I saw Jace standing outside waiting for me.
The movie theaters is where Jace choose our date to be. All Camille told me was that we were going to see some kind of action movie.
"Hey Jace" I said talking up to him.
He looked up and smiled.
"Hey Magnus, ready to see the movie?" he asked.
"Yea, what movie are we seeing?" I said back, as we walked into the theater.
"It's called heard of it?" He said.
My eyes widened, oh no, oh no, oh no. A scary movie, i can't do scary movies. What if I make myself look like an idiot and freak out.
"Um yea. It's it suppose to be like the horror movie of the month or something, right?" I asked as we made our way to theater 3.
He laughed, "Yea, it's going to be so scary ever some adults have nightmares."
"Oh cool" I said, trying to hide my fear.
"Oh don't tell me, you are scared of scary movies?" He asked me as we took our seats.
"No, are you kidding me" I said, lying of course.
Then the lights went out and the movie started.

Jace's Pov

I have never hated my sister, Isabella so much in my entire life.
Not wanting to have a romantic date with this guy, I choose to go to the movies. A scary movie of course, I love scary movies. But then I remembered that going to see a movie would mean that we would have to be out in public.
And that is why I have never hated Isabella so much in my entire life. Now everyone in this movie theater thinks I'm gay. Wonderful. If only I was able to just drop out of this competition just like Gabriel Whitewood. But I can't leave Alec alone, he would be too shy and freaked out.
The only thing I didn't remember about watching a scary movie is that some people don't like them, because they get scared easily. And I knew that right after telling Magnus that this was a scary movie, that he was one of those people.
Now my new worry was that he would freak out and hold my hand or hid his face in my shirt. Just a wonderful day, a wonder day indeed.

Never say I didn't do anything for you, mr. Alec Lightwood.

More to come hopefully soon.
