OMG, guys! It's been so long since I wrote. I started losing followers and all because I was so busy with school and extra activities.
About Kickin' It: OMFG! LEO SHIRTLESS IN "Mama Mimma" I was giggling like a lunatic, and I don't giggle easly.
Anyway, on to the story: I don't own Kickin' It. Seriously, if I did, Kim and Jack would've already been together and they would've gone to the 2nd base xD.
The nextday
Kim's POV
I was getting ready for my date with Jack, when my phone called. I looked at the ID caller and so it was Jack.
"Hey, Jack! 'Sup?"
"Ya know... The sky, the ceiling..."
"Haha (sarcastically). No really, what is it?"
"Well, I wanted to see what my beautiful girlfriend is doing. And I have some great news."
"First of all, I'm getting ready for our date, second tell me the news! Now!"
"Ok, sheesh.. calm down! My dad is coming from his business tomorrow afternoon and he bought me a car. You know what this means?"
"Ummm... that you are going to school by car from next week?"
"Well, yeah... that too... but we can finally go to Miami next weekend without our parents. (Supposely Miami is a 2 hour ride from Seaford)"
"Jack, that's great, but since when are we going to Miami?" I was confused as hell. I mean, he once mentioned about a concert in Miami but, still, he hadn't given me any details.
"Kim, sweety, that's another surprise for you, but I couldn't wait until our date to tell you." Well, now it makes sense... I think...
"Jack, I can't wait to find out more, but our date is in about one hour and I still need to do somethings."
"Ok, but promise me that you won't wear any make-up."
"I wasn't planning too. Bye, Jack!"
"See ya soon, Kimmy!"
"Brewer, you're gon..." He ended the call! That's it! He's going to pay for calling me "Kimmy". It sounds like a cute animal. I may be cute, but I'm not an animal.
I was looking for what to wear to the date, but I felt like I couldn't find anything. I started searching harder until my eyes landed on a light blue tank top and a pair of white short-shorts. "That will make Jack drool over me!" I thought. But I needed to find something to get revenge for calling me that horrid name. Time for shoes. What to take? Sandals? No way! Hmmmm... got it! My black and white Converse* shoes.
Jack's POV
Man, I am screwed. I called Kim "Kimmy" and she started to say something nasty about it, so I ended the call. She's gonna get some revenge on me, but I couldn't care less at that moment. I needed to find something to wear. And fast.
I didn't want to be over dressed, but I wanted to impress. So, I settled to a black T-shirt with a red button down over it, undone, with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow, a pair of dark blue jeans hanging low on the hips and black Supras*.
Well, time to go to the meadow and prepare my date. I was supposed to pick Kim up at 7 o'clock and it was 6:20. I had enough time.
- Time skip to 7 o'clock -
3rd Person POV
Jack arrived at exactly 7 o'clock at Kim's house to pick her up. He rang the doorbeel and in a few seconds Kim opened the door. Jack's jaw hit the ground, eyeing Kim up and down.
Jack's POV
I can't believe that the girl who stands in front of me is my girlfriend. Kim looks so beautiful in white and blue. I couldn't believe how I was so lucky to have her.
"Jack, is everything okay? You look like you've seen me for the first time." It's true. The first time we met my jaw hit the ground. I quickly composed myself and answered cockily
"No Kim, I'm just surprised that you look exactly like my standards require." That came out wrong. "Kim, I didn't mean it like that... okay, you're gorgeous! Can we go now, please?" Well, not to brag or anything, but I can really pull off the puppy dog face.
Kim's POV
Jack just came at my house to pick me up and of course he made a cocky comment which was pretty confusing. Uhhhh, not the puppy dog face. Here's a secret that isn't quite a secret. I am a sucker for puppy faces. So of course I just had to say...
"Yes, Jack. Let's go! I can't wait to see what you've prepared."
Jack told me something about going to the Seaford Meadow. I once told him that I love that place. I used to go there with my parents before they turned into workaholic parents and were all the time on business trips. The thing is, Jack and I had never gone there together and I was very excited to find out what he did pull off.
"Jack, are you going to tell me what you have planned for us?" I bet that my eyes were full of excitement and I was looking like a crazy person, but Jack can understand me and hopefully he didn't think that I looked retarded. (Joking)
"Well, Kim, That's for me to know and you to find out. But don't worry, you'll like it." After he said that I heard him mumbling something like "I hope". I knew Jack as the confident type of guy, but then he seemed to be worried. He knows for a long time I like a lot of things, but to find the exact thing that pleases me it's hard. At that time I could only think that he was worried that I would not like what he did and did something stupid. I know Jack and I was sure that he did the perfect thing for our date.
3rd Person POV
They arrived in about 5 minutes to the meadow. Though it sounds to be somewhere far away from Seaford, the truth is the meadow is quite close to the town. Seaford is a very small town and everyone knows each other. Considering the fact that Kim's house was pretty close to the towns' boundaries it makes sense the short time they arrived.
When Jack and Kim reached the meadow, Kim stopped dead in her tracks and looked mesmerized by the view. In the middle was a dark purple picnic blanket with a large picnic basket next to it and a lot of flowers around the arrangement.
Jack stood awkwardly by Kim intenselt watching her expresion. At first, he thought she didn't like it but after a couple of minutes of silence she finally said something.
"Jack, it's beautiful. I have no idea how you managed to pull it off." Kim is not the kind of girl to get to emotional, but that was a very thoughful thing of Jack to do. She had glassy eyes, full of tears of joy. She couldn't believe that something so simple could be so beautiful.
"Isn't it too simple? I mean... you deserve a lot more but I had no idea what else to do and I thought that it would be nice if I made something simple... since you don't like big things and you are hard to..."
"Jack, stop rambling! It's perfect! It may be small, but it doesn't matter the size, it matters the gesture. And I highly doubt that I ever hated something you did. If I'm wrong, please give me an example."
Jack stood in shock, looking into Kim's eyes and realised that not once since they know each had she hated something he did.
"Kim, you're right. Come on, let's enjoy this meal."
They sat down on the blanket facing each other. Jack opened the basket and pulled out two plastic plates and two glasses. Yes, he took glasses, not plastic cups. Kim was excited to find out what was in the basket. She took a sneak peek, but couldn't see anything. Jack pulled out pastas with cheese and tomato souce and a plastic box which consisted of strawberry covered in dark chocolate. Kim's eyes winded and she jumped right into Jack's arms.
"Jack, this is my favourite food. How did you knew?"
"Well, I might have noticed that a long time ago, don't ya think?" Jack chuckled.
"Okay, you got this one right. Hold up! You made the pastas? They're warm."
"Yeah, and you are lucky. This is my speciality." He winked.
"Let's eat! I'm starving." Jack poured some orange juice into the glasses after they finished their pastas.
He lay down and pulled Kim with him. She put her head on his chest and was looking up at the white puffy clouds.
"Look, Jack! That one looks like a rabbit! Come on, let's play the cloud game."
"Okay, Kim. There! That one looks like two lions fighting for a piece of meat (Lion King: Simba's Pride reference)."
"Wow, a little violent there, don't you think?" Kim laughed. "Hmmm... look at that, it looks like a penguin riding a bike."
"That one looks like a strawberry. By the way, want some?" Jack held out one strawberry for Kim. He fed it to her, Kim smiling like an idiot.
They took turns feeding each other until there was just one left.
"Come on, Kim! Take it. You deserve it."
"Neah, you take it, hun (I don't like this "hun" thingy but Kim says it a lot on the show)."
"Ok, I got an idea. Let's share it. You take half and I take half. Deal?" Kim didn't respond but bit half of the straberry living the other half for Jack. "All done." She smiled.
They lay down again and gazed at the sky that started to slightly darken. Jack was debating whether to tell Kim about Miami now or to wait for another time. Though he didn't have a choice.
"Hey, Jack?! What about that weekend to Miami?"
"Well, I know how much you like Bon Jovi and since I like his music, too I bought us tickets to his concert in Miami. And it's next weekend."
Kim jolted upright and looked into Jack's eyes. She just couldn't believe that Jack would do such a sweet thing for her. Jack was scared because of the look Kim was giving him: a blank look but at the same excited. In a flash, he couldn't think anything because Kim grabed him and kissed him passionately. She demanded entrance to his warm mouth and he let her tongue in, gently applying some presure with his tongue on it. Kim scooted to his lap, straddling his hips. She fisted her palms in Jack's hair making him moan quite loudly. She smiled into the kiss.
They continued kissing until the need of air was to unberable.
"Wow, if this is the reaction I got from you from buying tickets to a concert, I think I might do something everyday to get this." Jack panted smiling his 1.000.000. $ smile.
"You know you could get this if you ask nicely, but I'm so happy right now. I can't believe that you would do that for me. " They got lost in each others eyes and Jack knew it was the moment he was waiting for.
"Kim, I've got something to tell you. I think that you already know it, but I want you to hear me say it. Kim Crawford, I love you with all my heart!"
Kim was shocked beyond words. She always knew that he loved her and she loved him too, but hearing him say it sparked something deep inside her. She couldn't imagine her life without Jack in it. She was empty without him. She shyly smiled and gave him a peck on the lips.
"You're right, I already knew it, but hearing you say it made it real. I love you, too, more than I ever loved anyone and more than I will ever love anyone."
They were smiling like idiots, especially Jack who felt like the happiest person on Earth, hell, the happiest person from all the Universe. It was getting dark and they both knew that they had to go home, but none of them wanted to.
"Kim, we should go. You must train tomorrow for the Competition."
"Hmmm, okay. But this weekend we're standing at my house and do nothing. I want to just be with you."
"Okay. Come on, let's gather the things." She got off his lap and started gathering the trash. They left the meadow hand in hand, walking towards Seaford with their backs to the setting sun.
Ok, cliche ending but it felt right to put it there. Again, I'm so sorry guys for letting you wait so long for another update. The next chapter would be EddiexGrace's date.
Well, you know the story: RXR! Kisses, A! p.s. Pretty Little Liars reference...
*- I don't own Converse and/or Supras.
