Remember me?

"Frisk? Don't you remember me? You act as though you have never heard my voice before…you look a little pale…are you alright?" The new person was pale, had rosy pink cheeks, shoulder length brown hair, wore an emerald green sweater with a single yellow stripe, and owned two gorgeous crimson red eyes. The corner of her lips were pulled up into a warm smile. The girl held out her hand, "Frisk, it's me, Chara!" Chara looked completely different from what Frisk was expecting. Her sweater seemed a bit loose, but they were in the Hotlands after all. Frisk started at Chara for a little while, unable to understand how this happened. "The needle was filled with 'Determination' it brought our souls together then separated us into two separate people, confusing huh?" Chara grinned, revealing pearly, white teeth, "Well partner, what do you say? Shall we continue forwards?" Together they left the Lab and continued towards the place where Mettaton last fought them. They kept heading forwards until they reached the king's castle. Flowey was there to greet them.

"C-Chara, is that you?" Flowey was looking scared and excited at the same time. Chara looked puzzled, "Am I supposed to know who you are?"

"It's me, your best friend…" Flowey started to look upset

"Oh…still don't know you…sorry" Chara continued to look confused. Flowey looked more upset and disappeared underground again. They continued forward until they found the actual castle. They held hands as they entered. Frisk gasped, Chara just sighed. It was just like Toriel's house…

"He never gave up, he always did love Toriel…until collecting human souls became more important to him. Pathetic!" Chara looked disgusted as she walked through the house, but her eyes softened and became a gentle, mellow red as she saw a door. Above the door read, "Chara and Asriel's Room!" Frisk saw tears begin to brim at her eyes. A watery sigh was heard as Chara slowly turned the door knob. There were two boxes, one labelled Chara, the other labelled Asriel. "It was going to be our birthday before we died, dad must of gotten us these gifts," Chara's voice cracked as she unwrapped her gift and saw a golden necklace with a heart pendant, it was made of ruby. "Mum and dad always went big with their gifts…" Chara's hand hovered over Asriel's gift, but snatched it back. Her eyes were full of tears and threatened to spill out over her sweater. "Frisk, lets go now…"

They kept walking through the house, Chara reliving new memories with her adopted family. Finally they came to a garden. A figure stood in the middle. He wore a gold and purple cape, had two large horns and looked similar to Toriel. He turned around and stared at Chara, "I'm so sorry my child…but you two need to die for us to leave, you wouldn't understand," The battle started and Chara's eyes got a wicked gleam, she looked like a demon. Asgore threw a crimson and bloodstained trident out of his cloak and smashed the mercy option. Chara held out her knife. Frisks eyes grew wide as she saw the bloody battle unfold.

Asgore took numerous slashes and stabs at Chara, but never hit her. Chara grinned and returned the favour to Asgore, but with the same result. She started to look frustrated. Frisk yelled out to Chara, and Asgore took the chance to stab Chara's arm, her non knife wielding arm. Her scarlet blood stained her sweater, but she continued to fight. All of this was too much for Frisk who turned away to run, but saw a familiar face, "You're not going anywhere Frisk…I can't let you…" Flowey grinned as Frisk tried desperately to get past him. Chara and Asgore were starting to get tired, sweat started to build up on Asgore's brow, but Chara pushed on. All the odds were stacked against Chara, but she continued. Frisk pulled out her toy knife and looked at Flowey, "What are you going to do? Hit a flower? Wow, so mature!" Flowey chuckled as Frisk lowered the knife

Chara's knife gleamed and reflected Asgores tired features. Chara was merciless, throwing both knife and insults. Frisk was still facing Flowey. "Maybe she will remember me if I help with her…plan…" Flowey smiled wickedly, still not allowing Frisk to pass. Frisk drew in her breath and tried once more, still no success. Although Flowey didn't show it, he was feeling mildly annoyed at her determination. Frisk grinned at this thought and continued. "Frisk…stop…you're starting to annoy me now…I said…STOP!" Flowey's voice was growing shriller the more he talked. Flowey had tears in his eyes, not a very good look on him. Chara and Asgore were still fighting, Charas sweater starting to look more scarlet than emerald. Asgore showed her little mercy, taking every chance he could to stab or jab at Chara. Chara could no longer attack, all she could do was defend, and she was slowly losing her ground…

"Get up Chara, quickly!" Frisk cupped her hands around her mouth and yelled at Chara, who was sprawled across the floor. She wiped the blood from her lip and got up. Knife in hand she faced Asgore once more. Her eyes had lost her menacing gleam, and she once again looked like a frightened child. She glanced up at Asgore, fear in her eyes and he slowly lowered his weapon. She went up to him, to hug him and suddenly plunged her knife into his chest. His eyes grew wide and his mouth hung in a wide O. His hands clutched the knife in his chest. His hands shook as he tried to pull it out. Although he clearly had the strength, he dropped his hands to his sides and faced Chara. "You…you demon…you never loved us did you?" Asgore was sounding fainter by the second

"I only loved Asriel…and he is gone…" Chara started to look a bit upset at the mention of Asriels name. Her eyes lost their shine at his name. She looked upset. Asgore, looked depressed as he started to dissolve to dust, "You are a demon Chara, you are a terrible person!" His voice echoed through the air as his ashes swirled around the floor. Chara grinned as she clutched her cut up arm. Her eyes were a dull, clouded rosy colour and her knife was stained in dust. She turned around, looking victorious to Frisk. "I-I thought you had changed…I stood up for you Chara!" Frisk stammered

"You still don't understand, Frisk, do you?" Chara laughed at Frisk, "I was using you! It was so lucky to have a little pacifist girl, defending a demon like me! Pathetic, you need to learn who you can trust, you saw how much mercy I showed Toriel! Then you thought you could trust me? You need to learn Frisk, allow me to teach you…" By this stage Flowey had his vines curled up around Frisk, not allowing her to move. She struggled in place, but she was still stuck. Chara strode up to Frisk, and looked her dead in the eye, "Nice knowing you…Partner!" She grinned as she plunged her knife at Frisks throat.
