So I know it's been like forever since I post for this fic. To be perfectly honest I lost my will to write this and reading it is really painful as it was the first thing I ever wrote and it it really sucks, but that aside I still have every intention of finishing it. Sorry it took so long.
Chapter Seven
Ahsoka almost jumped out of her skin When she saw Master Kenobi and her old Master walking down the corridor toward her, The latter being a Force ghost. (which would be why she had jumped in the first place.)
"Hello Ahsoka!" Anakin greeted her cheerfully as if it was an everyday occurrence to come back after you had died.
"Hi Master." she said uncertainly. "Hello Master Kenobi."
"Greetings Padawan Tano, you must know I am not a Jedi Master, but it is a pleasure to see you again."
Ahsoka saw her old Master roll his eyes at that and couldn't help but smile inwardly to herself.
"I know that you are not in the eyes of The Jedi Council and The Senate, but in my eyes you are." She said smiling, She could tell from the look on her old Masters face that he agreed with her words, which in turn made her very happy and though she saw that Master Kenobi was going to objected she was glad when he changed his mind and only inclined his head and said: "Thank You."
"So what brings you this way?" she asked perkily.
"That would be a long story, after I done telling The Council and The Senate and dealing with the results of it, I will tell you. Of course by then you will have heard some of it, but if you want the details I would be willing to tell you." Master Kenobi told her. "As long as I am permitted to see you."
"Alright!" she said giving him a funny look. "I'll see you later then?"
"Yes." he said with a nod and a smile.
"Bye." she called back as she walked away glancing back at them.
Anakin gave her a cocky grin before he turned and followed Master Kenobi down the corridor.
It wasn't long before it was all over the HoloNet, How Chancellor Palpatine had been in league with Count Dooku and the one responsible for the war in the first place. There was more to it, but Ahsoka was to stunned to pay much mind to it.
So this was what Master Kenobi had been had been taking about two days ago.
She looked up when the seat across from her was pulled out and Master Kenobi sat down across from her.
"I have some time." he told her then nodded towards the screen. "You saw the news." It wasn't really a question.
"Yeah." she said. "So how did you find out about it?"
"He offered me the option of joining him." Obi-Wan replied. "It seems he thought I might be willing to join the Sith."
"But your not even on the dark side." She pointed out. "Why would you become a Sith?"
"I'm still not sure about that one. Ahsoka." he said shaking his head.
She scoffed. "You are so busy worrying about it and saying that your not sure that you aren't on the dark side that you are missing what's right in front of your face."
"And what would that be?" he asked before she could really feel bad about being rude.
She took a deep breath and looked him right in the eyes. "Those who have gone the dark side don't worry about being on the dark side and I doubt they divide the world into dark and light, but instead believe that they are in the right and everything they did wether right or wrong was the right choice."
Master Kenobi stared at her looking rather stunned, but then he smiled. "I suppose your right."
"Of course I'm right." she said grinning at him. "Skyguy taught me well."
"Yes he did." Obi-Wan agreed. "Well were there any questions you had?"
"Not really." she said. "I think the HoloNet covered it pretty well, though I'm going to guess you defeated Palpatine."
"I did." he said. "But for whatever reason it would seem the Jedi Council chose to leave that out."
"I'm sure they had good reasons for it." Ahsoka said, leaning on the table. "So what will you do now?"
"I must go back to Naboo, to speak with Padme." he said with a sigh. "After that I'm not really sure. I suppose I'll spend the rest of my life trying to make up for what I did."
Ahsoka smiled at him "You've already done quite a lot in that regard. I mean the war is all but over because of you." she pointed out. "But I suppose you'll never see that as enough will you."
"Not really and no matter what I do, I'll have to live with the guilt of that for the rest of my life." he stood up. "Well I really should be going, unless there was something else."
"No not really." Ahsoka said as she stood up as well and came around the table to hug him. "Take care Master Kenobi. I hope to see you again."
"Thank you Ahsoka and I hope so too."
With that she watched as he walked away, a smile came to her face.
