She'd gone home in a huff. I wasn't sure what I'd done to upset her, but it was obviously something terrible. I just didn't know what to say or do as she left me standing in the library, and in seconds she was gone. I'd walked the long way home, hands in my pockets and drawstrings to my hoodie pulled tight so the least amount of my face could be seen. I was ready to cry, but I held myself together. I had a team of idiots to lead.

"Aw, come on Jinx do we really have to go?"

"Mammoth, just grab the mattresses and tv and let's go. I'm not saying it again, we've been here way too long."

My stuff was already neatly packed at our new hide-out; a small warehouse by the riverfront. I'd been moving stuff there for about a day before I told the guys we were leaving. Gizmo was fairly easy to pack up, everything he owned either folded up neatly or walked or flew on its own. Billy didn't have anything but his bed and suit. Mammoth on the other hand had to carry all of the communal stuff. What else could he be good for other than the heavy lifting?

We were at the hide-out by noon. Apparently that British ginger guy had some fight with the Titans a few miles away so everything went off without a hitch. I locked myself in my room again to sulk. I can't believe I'd been so stupid. Everything must've been trying to further some plot... maybe she wanted to single-handedly take in my whole team for style points? I don't know. I just hated that I'd nearly put my team in danger for her.

"We gonna do another heist soon," Billy asked me after a few days. I'd spent a bit of time watching them play video games and they were talking to me like I was a person again and not some evil bitch who made them leave their home.

"... Yeah, I think so," I said after a while. "Looks like you boys need a new video game anyway."

"We don't fudging need another cred-munching game until I can can Mammoth's bolt-licking self at this one! DAMMIT!"

I giggled as Mammoth won for must have been the 16th time in the past half hour. It felt good to be back.

We were running from the lab with apparently $78 million worth of information on a small disc. Billy heard someone talking about robbing the lab and collecting the reward, but they didn't have a boy genius to disable the electronic defenses. We'd made it about three blocks before the Titans were on our trail. Robin's motorcycle was revving up over the rooftops directly behind us and the sound of Cyborg's arm cannon charging was loud and clear. We fought for as hard as we could... well, I at least heard they had. I didn't participate in much fighting. The look of disappointment and sadness on Raven's face was enough to drain my will to fight. But apparently she was just upset enough to hit me with one good sucker punch and as I hit the ground I could tell that Gizmo definitely needed to stay away from the Bird Wonder's bow-staff.
