Ron Weasley couldn't believe his eyes. Not only had he seen his ex-fiancé/best friend for the first time in fifteen years, but she had been called mom by the American red haired triplets. His mind was racing as harry and Ginny talked about what happened and the professors tried to quiet down the room. Seeing the American leaders follow the group into the entryway he did too, ignoring Ginny and Harrys inquiries about his theories.
Peeking through the doors not quite ready to see the only woman he had loved just quite yet he stood listening. "I'll think on it Toby," she said.
Taking a breath of confidence he turned to the doorway just as she was walking back in. "oh I'm so sor…." She had started to say until she saw it was the one man who had managed to hurt her more than she thought possible.
The two former lovers stood staring at one another until a sound from behind Hermione broke their concentration. Seeing her triplets struggling and arguing with one another on whose fault it was that they had been caught put a smile on Hermione's face, which quickly became overcome with worry hoping that her ex wouldn't recognize the similarities between the kids and him.
Ignoring Ron and walking back into the great hall Hermione stopped in front of the head table, as the triplets took seats behind her at Gryffindor's table.
"Miss Granger I beg you please do not with draw the triplets from the competition, we would have to start the whole process over once more." McGonagall pleaded from her place at the table,
"I have decided to allow the triplets to compete under these three conditions." She turned back towards the triplets only to see Ron once again walk by her to get to his seat, choosing to ignore that despite the curious look she received from the encounter.
"You three most follow all of the rules and guidelines, and I expect you to put forth an example for the younger students. Number two you must each right a five thousand word essay to be owled to me by Sunday morning explaining why it is wrong to lie openly to your mothers, to leave the country without her permissions, and to the one place she has specifically told you, you must never go!" the triplets nodded guiltily waiting for her to continue. " the third and last things is that I want you three to…" the entire great hall sat anxiously waiting for what other punishment might be in stored for the three Americans, "try your best, remember that no matter what I love you three, and try and have fun okay." Swooping down before they could object she kissed each forehead before facing the head table once more.
"Madame Winklebach,"
"Yes Miss Granger?"
"I will be staying in the country for a short will to view my children's and the schools progress. If there is a problem regarding my children I demand to be notify immediately."
"Of course Ms. Granger," with a satisfied smile Hermione began to walk away but not before turning once more to face the table.
"Oh and Professor Demogalyn if I were you I would not be surprise if the school board were to suddenly check in on you, after all the parents need to be aware of the fact that you are not only willing to lie to the parents but to also endanger our children just to win a silly competition by any means necessary. Wouldn't you agree?"
Demogalyn gulped as Hermione smirked his way, and with that the young mother sashayed her way out of the great hall.
The silence broke as soon as she was out of the room and Madison could only droop her worn out shoulders as Liam banged his head on the table. "Well that wasn't so bad," Cameron said with a calm look on his face as he grabbed a piece of buttered toast and took a bite. Simultaneously Madison and Liam both hit their middle seated brother before going back to their pitying.
"At least now I can focus on my task," Madison said with a quick glanced towards were her father and aunt and uncles were in a hurried conversation, looking the other way she saw her cousins peeking at her curiously, " at least I hope I can.
