Chapter 7 is now a go! Sorry this came like a year later. I had a few of these left on my computer. I might write more of these over the summer but that is a maybe. Thanks to all who have read these. I hope you enjoy the few that you are getting today.

Twerdlife: Shamy going to a wedding and Amy catches the bouquet! :D

I am not really sure why this is from penny's (3rd person) pov, so just roll with it. And sorry for another really short chapter. The next one will be a lot longer though.

So incase you are new here, I don't own BBT, or Dance with me tonight by Olly Murs.

Enjoy the story!

The Flower Reaction

Nobody expected Barry Kripkey to get married. Nobody expected his wife to be a nice chemist that worked at a pharmaceutical company with Bernadette. And nobody expected her to be a pretty brunette.

For some reason Leonard, Raj, Howard, and Sheldon were invited and were allowed to bring a plus one. Essentially it was the entire gang just in a new location. They even had their own table.

The speakers blared with music.

"I just want you to dance with me tonight!" Penny sang along with the song as Leonard twirled her around the dance floor. She caught a glimpse of all of her friends dancing too. She was really surprise at Sheldon and Amy though. They were dancing like a couple straight out of the 50's, and in their fancy clothes, they really looked the part.

"Sweetie, how did Amy get Sheldon to dance," Penny asked trying to be heard over the loud music.

"Oh she told him that it was a non-optional social convention. He just agreed and let her drag him on to the dance floor." He answered.

"That's surprisingly cute for Sheldon," she said, " I didn't know that he could dance."

"He grew up in Texas. I think that it's just one of those things that everybody learns." He guessed.

The song was just ending and Sheldon was smiling brightly at Amy. As the guitar riff of the next song started the volume of the music dropped drastically. Lauren, Barry's now wife, stepped on stage with the flower bouquet. "Will all of the ladies who have still not tied the knot please come over to the dance floor at this time." She had a slightly demonic smile, because she knew what was about to happen next.

All of the women at the wedding stood up and rushed over to the dance floor. Sheldon watched in confusion as Amy and penny dashed away from their table. Penny pushed her way to the front of the mob while Amy decided to stay closer to the back, away from the crazed women. He leaned in to Leonard and asked, "What is going on?"

"Oh it's a tradition at weddings," Leonard explained, "The unmarried women go to the dance floor and the bride throws the flowers. According to tradition, the person who catches it will be the next to get married."

"Excuse me but how can flowers dictate a wedding, hmmm?"

"Oh come on Sheldon, it's just for fun now be quiet. The flowers are about to fly!"

The mob was congregated at the front of the dance hall and there was a sound of exited chatter. Lauren gave one more smile before turning around and shouting, "LET THE HUNGER GAMES BEGIN!"

She had a surprisingly good arm, so the bouquet went flying over the girls at the front of the room and landed in the slightly outstretched hands of one Amy Farah-Fowler.

She smiled at penny as she walked back to the table. As she plopped the flower arrangement on the table, Howard inquired, "So is she taking your last name or are you going to be Sheldon Farah-Fowler?"

"Shut up," he snapped back as his ears started to blush a slight pink color.

So was anybody else not expecting that ring! I can not wait to see how they deal with that!
