"Jutsu!"

"Demon / Monsters/Summon/ Angry God or Titans"

"What were you thinking, Anna?" Thalia said angrily. "You followed Water-boy blindly on the ship that filled with monsters." Annabeth looked down in shame. When Thalia saw her face, her eyes softened. "You could have died."

Percy saw Annabeth's down face. He felt guilty for it. "Hey! It wasn't her fault."

Thalia quickly turned to him. "Yes. I know it wasn't her fault. It was your fault, Water-boy."

Percy narrowly avoided the electricity that Thalia had sent after him. "Hey!" he shouted, but he gulped when he saw eyes, which were shining with electricity.

"Now, hear me carefully," she said. "I will fry you alive with my electricity if you ever tried to do something like this again." Percy nodded. "Good!" She turned around and walked away from there.

"Well, let me show you our ship," Daichi said.

They'd just finished a ship tour they didn't want, through dark rooms overcrowded with dead sailors. They'd seen the coal bunker, the boilers and engine—all looked brand new. They'd seen the pilothouse and the powder magazine and gunnery deck with two Dahlgren smoothbore cannons on the port and starboard sides and a Brooke nine-inch rifled gun fore and aft—all specially refitted to fire celestial bronze cannon balls.

Everywhere they went, dead Confederate sailors stared at them, their ghostly bearded faces shimmering over their skulls.

"So you are from Virginia?" an undead solider asked. Annabeth nodded as he approved her.

"Your name is Percy Jackson, right?" another undead asked. Percy nodded as undead smiled at this because of Jackson—like the Southern general. "Where are you from?"

"New York."

His smile dropped. He hissed and muttered curses about Yankees before turned around walked away from Percy.

As for Tyson, he was terrified of them. All through the tour, he insisted Annabeth hold his hand, which she didn't look too thrilled about.

Finally, Daichi led them to dinner. The CSS Birmingham captain's quarters were about the size of a walk-in closet, but still much bigger than any other room on board. Naruto, Thalia and Clarisse were sitting at the dinner table. The table was set with white linen and china. Daichi took a seat next to Naruto while Annabeth sat opposite of Thalia and Percy sat next to her as skeletal crewmen brought Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, potato chips, and Dr. Peppers. Percy didn't want to eat anything served by ghosts, but his hunger overruled his fear.

"Tantalus expelled you for eternity," Clarisse told them.

"But don't worry about it," Naruto said as he took a bite of jelly sandwich. "He is not going to stay in camp too long."

"What do you mean?" Clarisse asked as she and others turned towards him.

"I've this to clear Chiron from all suspicions," Naruto said. He waved his hand as a large screen appeared in front of them, showing images of Luke with bear twins.

"You really think the old horseman is gone for good?" Agrius asked.

Luke laughed "They can't trust him. Not with the skeletons in his closet. The poisoning of the tree was the final straw."

The scene changed. Luke and bear twins were standing front of Percy, Annabeth and Tyson.

Percy said, "You poisoned Thalia's tree."

Luke sighed. "Right to the point, eh? Okay, sure, I poi-soned the tree. So what?"

Thalia clenched her fist in anger. Naruto squeezed her hands, and she quickly maneuvered them through her, her fingers clasping his tightly. Then he waved his hand again as the screen began to disintegrate into light particles.

"He is becoming a monster," Clarisse said. In the first time in his life, Percy completely agreed with her.

Annabeth looked at Naruto. "With this we can prove Chiron is innocent."

"Yes," Naruto said. "And it'll also give him his position back."

"It means no Tantalus or his punishment that he has given to you," Thalia said.

Percy looked at Clarisse and asked a question that he wanted to ask her from the start. "Where did you get this ship?"

"It's from my father."

"Ares?"

Clarisse sneered. "You think your daddy is the only one with sea power? The spirits on the losing side of every war owe a tribute to Ares. That's their curse for being defeated. I prayed to my father for a naval transport and here it is. These guys will do anything I tell them. Won't you, Captain?"

The captain stood behind her looking stiff and angry. "If it means an end to this infernal war, ma'am, peace at last, we'll do anything. Destroy anyone."

Clarisse smiled. "Destroy anyone. I like that."

Tyson gulped.

"This is a brand new ship," Annabeth said, looking around. There wasn't even a scratch or dent in the walls.

"You'll have to thank Lord Naruto for that," the captain said. "He is the one who restored this ship to its peak condition."

Clarisse spit out the water, she was drinking, and hurriedly turned to the captain. "Lord?"

"Even if they are in your father's control, Clarisse, they still are undead," Naruto told her. "They belong to my father's domain."

"Whatever," she said. "Captain, what's our position?"

Instead of Captain, Percy answered her question, "36 degrees, 44 minutes north, 76 degrees, 2 minutes west."

Everyone turned towards him.

"How did you know that?" Thalia asked.

"I don't know."

"Because of his dad," Naruto said. "When he's at sea, he has perfect bearings."

Daichi said, "He is like a human GPS unit."

Percy felt uneasy on the human GPS unit comment.

"Well, Looks like you're not useless to me, Prissy," Clarisse said, smirking as Percy bit annoyed by his wrong name. She opened Dr. Pepper before turning to Captain. "Captain, take our new three guests below. Assign them hammocks on the berth deck. If they don't mind their manners, show them how we deal with enemy spies."

Percy looked at Naruto and Thalia for help but they didn't say anything about this.

Percy was sleeping peacefully when a sudden splash of cold water woke him up. "What?" He opened his eyes.

"Percy, let's go!" Annabeth said as she was holding an empty glass. There was an undead standing beside her.

Percy stood up and began to follow her up on deck. When they reached at the deck, they froze. Clarisse was standing right front of them, talking with a very familiar man while Naruto, Thalia and Daichi were not too far away from her. It was a muscular man in black leather biker clothes, with a military haircut, red-tinted sunglasses, and a knife strapped to his side.

Percy's fists clenched. It was his least favorite Olympian: Ares, the god of war.

"I don't want excuses, little girl!" Ares growled.

"Y-yes, father," Clarisse mumbled.

"You don't want to see me mad, do you?"

"No, father."

"No, father," Ares mimicked.

Thalia tightened her fist as sparks came out of it. She was angry at Ares. But before she could do anything which would anger the war-god, Naruto held her hand to stop her.

Ares said, "You're path—"

"Jackson is here," Daichi cut it as he pointed at Percy.

Ares turned to Percy as Clarisse sighed in relief. "Well, well, well, is it Seaweed's kid?" He grinned and took off his shades, showing his fire, empty sockets glowing with miniature nuclear explosions.

"Ares." Percy gritted teeth.

"Percy don't. He is already angry at you," Annabeth whispered in his ear before she looked at the war-god. "Lord Ares, what are you doing here other than to meet your daughter of course?"

"Straight to the point, eh? You are really her daughter," he said to Annabeth. Then he turned to look at Naruto. "I am here for our re-match."

"Here, in the middle of the sea," Daichi said.

"And the middle of the quest," Thalia added.

"I accept," Naruto said without looking at others as everyone bit shocked at it.

"Good," the war-god said. He snapped his fingers and they found themselves another place. It was large empty ground filled with dead trees and grass. "This is one of my favorite places."

"Well, nice place," Naruto commented.

"So, are you ready?" Ares asked.

Naruto nodded as they disappeared and reappeared in the middle of the ground, far away from others.

XXX

They stared at each other, all was silent, until they started….

Naruto was the first to act, creating a massive blade of wind, infused with normal fire, and sent it dashing towards the war-god. Summoning a massive shield, Ares blocked the attack.

"Impressive," Ares said as he de-materialized his shield.

"Thanks."

They quickly went forward fast, and both clashed their fists, causing shockwave. They jumped back. Ares rushed to attack Naruto head on, only for his fist to collide with the Naruto's. The two exchanged barrages of attack before hitting each other simultaneously, knocking each other backward.

Ares waved his hand in the air and summoned many weapons out of thin air. He pointed his hand at Naruto and sent them towards him. Naruto quickly summoned a shadow wall to block Ares' attacks.

Percy quickly tuned to Clarisse. "Your father can also do that?"

"Yes," Clarisse answered.

"Then, why didn't he use it in our last fight?"

"Because he was just playing with you."

"What?"

"Why would a god fight seriously against a child who didn't have any experience with the fight?" Daichi said.

Clarisse stared to laugh after hearing his comment while Percy opened and closed his mouth in a shock.

Back to Naruto and Ares fight, both fighters were trashing places. The two rushed to attack each other at similar speed before colliding their first together. The two attacks created a huge shockwave, forcing the others to take cover behind trees. It seemed that the two attacks were on par, as neither of them were pushing each other backward.

"You're strong," Area said as he quickly moved away from Naruto.

Naruto raised his left arm forward, creating an enormous wall of water, which violently surged upwards. He then gathered black- lightning onto his right hand before he forcefully smacked the wall of water with his energized palm, sending a torrent of water and lightning towards Ares. Instead of blocking or dodging, Ares summoned a white spear onto his hand. Charging its tip with red energy, he threw the spear with great force, towards the stream. When the two attacks clashed, the force generated a powerful shockwave, knocking both combatants.

"Hard to believe it, they're not even going all out in this," Daichi said.

"What do you mean?" Percy asked.

"Neither Master Naruto nor Ares is using their full power," Daichi explained. He then pointed at the fight. "Master Naruto is using his normal straight and he hasn't activated his Sharingan yet. He is also not using his more destructive attacks."

Back to the fight, Ares pulled out a long sword with a skull-shaped pommel and a ruby embedded in the mouth while Naruto summoned his black katana, and activated his Sharingan.

Their swords clashed together as the ground beneath them shook slightly. They moved away and clashed again. This time both kept in position as they spoke, the steel of their swords, creating small sparks as they exchanged words.

Ares changed the position of his hands on the sword's handle and twisted his sword into another slash. Naruto's katana was sent to the side, leaving him wide open. Ares thrust his sword straight through his chest, shocking everyone.

"He He!" Ares laughed.

To Ares surprise, Naruto front of him gave him a smirk before disappearing in a murder of crows. Naruto reappeared in a second behind him and slashed him on the back, leaving a large gash. Ares cried pain as ichor started to flow out of the gash. Naruto disappeared again and reappeared a few meters away from Ares.

"This is for trying to kill me," he told Ares.

"I like violence." Ares grinned. Then he noticed the gash on his back wasn't healing. "Why is it not healing?"

"Death-Princess isn't just a sword. She a gift from Shinigami; She is a part of my soul. She nullifies any regenerative properties her target have," Naruto said. "Even If you are immortal, it doesn't matter to her." He lifted his katana front of him. For a brief second, everyone saw a beautiful woman holding his sword hand and whispering something in his ear. "Awaken my Death-Princess!"

As Death-Princess released her deathly aura and started to shine brightly. When shine went down, they gaped seeing the beauty of the black sword. The sword looked same; there wasn't much different other than beautiful purple coloured marking over the blade.

Naruto flared his sinister black aura as Ares did the same. He released his red aura. Holding their weapons in their hand, they ran towards each other to the final strike.

"Shit!" Daichi said as he quickly made the hand seals before slamming his both hands on the ground.

Both Naruto and Ares dashed towards each other with images of the Black Dragon and Red Wild Boar following behind them respectively. They clashed their weapons together, creating a huge shockwave and large dome of light that enveloped whole place.

As the light died down, Daichi released the earth dome that he had created around to save himself and others from major injuries. After coming out of the dome, they saw place around them completely destroyed.

"There is nothing left here," Annabeth said with wide eyes. The whole place was nothing but a large crater.

Daichi knelt down on the ground and picked up some soil in his hand. He tried to feel the energy from it, but he felt nothing from it. 'That blast is not only destroyed the whole place, but also took every life energy from it,' he thought. 'That sword is truly Dead-Princess.'

He stood up to see Naruto and Ares was just a few meters away from each other. While Naruto was standing on his feet, looked unharmed, Ares was down on the ground, holding a large gash that ran across the stomach and chest that slowly oozed ichor.

"Impressive," Ares said.

A few minutes ago, when they had dashed towards each other to slash their sword; in last second, Naruto had slipped through Ares' attack not before slashing him across the stomach and chest.

"Your attacks were straight forward, Ares. They were easy to predict," Naruto said.

"You are good," Ares said as he stood on his feet. His godly blood was still flowing from wounds. "Let's declared it draw."

"Draw?" Percy murmured himself, "He's clearly lost the fight."

"Do you want to say something, Boy?" Ares asked. Percy shook his head. "Good." He turned back to Naruto. "This is for you." He tossed something at Naruto.

Naruto caught it quickly. It was a golden coin. It had an image of a double-edged sword one side and an image of the shield on its opposite side. "What is it?" he asked Ares.

Ares smirked. "My gift and your new weapon." He snapped his fingers again and they found themselves back on the CSS Birmingham's deck. There was no sign of Ares.

"Is it a weapon?" Percy asked, looking at the golden coin as he and others walked towards him.

"Maybe," Naruto said as he flipped the coin up from its shield side. It turned into a golden shield in midair. Naruto caught its handle before it could hit the ground.

It was a beautiful shield with an image of dragon crafted on it. Naruto sent some chakra into it as the dragon's eyes turned red.

"It's beautiful," Thalia said.

"Master, flip the coin from its opposite side," Daichi suggested.

Naruto nodded as a shield in his hand turned back to the coin. He flipped the coin again, but this time from its sword side. It changed into a long, golden double-edged sword. The sword was looked deadly and sharp. Like a shield, it also had an image of a dragon, but it was on its handle. Naruto swung sword for a few times. Then he put some chakra into swords as the blades started to shine brightly. He swung the sword again, sending a crescent-shaped blast at the sea.

"Your father really know some good quality of weapon," Daichi said to Clarisse.

Clarisse gave him a smirk.

"Anyway, we need to hurry. We are now three hours behind schedule because of this fight," Thalia said.

"Don't worry about it. We have a solution on this." Naruto turned his sword back to the coin before putting it into his pouch. Turning to Daichi, he gave a nod.

Daichi took a step forward and then he placed both his hands on the deck. "Earth Style: Super-Lightened Boulder Jutsu!" Nothing flashy happened, but everyone noticed the warship was moving faster than before.

"What you did?" Clarisse asked as she raised her eyebrow.

"I made the warship lighter than before," Daichi told her.

Clarisse didn't ask him more question because she knew it was pointless. 'Ninja and their weird magic,' she thought, shaking her head.

At evening, Naruto was on the deck, practicing with his new weapons. He was swinging his double-edged sword with great skill and speed. He was fighting with his imaginary opponent. He swung sword few more times before placing it tip on the deck.

"That was good," Thalia said as she clapped for him.

"Thank you," Naruto said, changing his sword back to the coin. "So, what are you doing here?"

"To see this," she answered as walked to the edge of the ship and looked at the sky.

The sun was ready to hide inside the sea. Its rays were slight touching the sky and fluffy clouds. The scenery took her breath away. It was so peaceful.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" she said.

"Yes," Naruto whispered in her ear, wrapping his arm around her hips from behind her.

Thalia blushed a bit, but she returned her gaze to the red sun that was sinking down the sea, throwing his pale features into sharp contrast.

XXX

Percy saw another dream, but this time Naruto was standing beside him.

Grover was sitting at his loom, desperately unraveling his wedding train, when the boulder door rolled aside and the Cyclops bellowed, "Aha!"

Grover yelped. "Dear! I didn't—you were so quiet!"

"Unraveling!" Polyphemus roared. "So that's the prob-lem!"

"Oh, no. I—I wasn't—"

"Come!" Polyphemus grabbed Grover around the waist and half carried, half dragged him through the tunnels of the cave. Grover struggled to keep his high heels on his hooves. His veil kept tilting on his head, threatening to come off.

The Cyclops pulled him into a warehouse-size cavern decorated with sheep junk. There was a wool-covered La-Z-Boy recliner and a wool-covered television set, crude bookshelves loaded with sheep collectibles—coffee mugs shaped like sheep faces, plaster figurines of sheep, sheep board games, and picture books and action figures. The floor was littered with piles of sheep bones, and other bones that didn't look exactly like sheep—the bones of satyrs who'd come to the island looking for Pan.

Polyphemus set Grover down only long enough to move another huge boulder. Daylight streamed into the cave, and Grover whimpered with longing. Fresh air!

The Cyclops dragged him outside to a hilltop overlook-ing the most beautiful island.

It was shaped kind of like a saddle cut in half by an ax. There were lush green hills on either side and a wide valley in the middle, split by a deep chasm that was spanned by a rope bridge. Beautiful streams rolled to the edge of the canyon and dropped off in rainbow-colored waterfalls. Parrots fluttered in the trees. Pink and purple flowers bloomed on the bushes. Hundreds of sheep grazed in the meadows, their wool glinting strangely like copper and sil-ver coins.

And at the center of the island, right next to the rope bridge, was an enormous twisted oak tree with something glittering in its lowest bough.

The Golden Fleece!

"Percy, can you feel it?" Naruto asked.

Percy nodded his head.

Even in a dream, they could feel its power radiating across the island, making the grass greener, the flowers more beau-tiful. They could almost smell the nature magic at work.

Grover yelped, but Polyphemus just picked up the near-est sheep like it was a stuffed animal and shaved off its wool. He handed a fluffy mass of it to Grover.

"Put that on the spinning wheel!" he said proudly. "Magic. Cannot be unraveled."

"Oh...well..."

"Poor Honeypie!" Polyphemus grinned. "Bad weaver. Ha-ha! Not to worry. That thread will solve problem. Finish wedding train by tomorrow!"

"Isn't that ... thoughtful of you!"

"He He."

"But—but, dear," Grover gulped, "what if someone were to rescue—I mean attack this island?" Grover looked straight at me, and I knew he was asking for my benefit. "What would keep them from marching right up here to your cave?"

"Wifey scared! So cute! Not to worry. Polyphemus has state-of-the-art security system. Have to get through my pets."

"Pets?"

Grover looked across the island, but there was nothing to see except sheep grazing peacefully in the meadows.

"And then," Polyphemus growled, "they would have to get through me!"

He pounded his fist against the nearest rock, which cracked and split in half. "Now, come!" he shouted. "Back to the cave."

Grover looked about ready to cry—so close to freedom, but so hopelessly far. Tears welled in his eyes as the boulder door rolled shut, sealing him once again in the stinky torch-lit darkness of the Cyclops's cave.

Percy woke to alarm bells ringing throughout the ship.

"Get up, Percy," Daichi said. His face appeared above Percy. "We are approaching the entrance."

"The entrance to what?"

Daichi gave him a smile. "The Sea of Monsters, of course."

Percy stuffed all belongings and slung it over his shoulder. He followed Daichi and made his way upstairs to join Thalia, Annabeth and Tyson on the deck.

"What's wrong?" Annabeth asked Percy. "Another dream?"

Percy nodded, but he didn't say anything. Clarisse and Naruto came up the stairs right after them.

Grabbing a pair of binoculars from a zombie officer, Clarisse peered toward the horizon. "At last. Captain, full steam ahead!"

There was an overcast sky front of their warship. The air was hazy and humid, like steam from an iron. There were a couple of dark fuzzy splotches in the distance.

The engine groaned as they increased speed.

Tyson muttered nervously, "Too much strain on the pis-tons. Not meant for deep water."

No one heard him except Percy, who wasn't sure how he knew that, but it made him nervous.

After a few more minutes, the dark splotches ahead came into focus. To the north, a huge mass of rock rose out of the sea—an island with cliffs at least a hundred feet tall. About half a mile south of that, the other patch of darkness was a storm brewing. The sky and sea boiled together in a roaring mass.

"Hurricane?" Annabeth asked.

"No," Clarisse said. "Charybdis."

Annabeth paled. "Are you crazy?"

"Oh, this should be fun." Daichi said as he took out his weapon. Naruto and Thalia did the same.

"Only way into the Sea of Monsters. Straight between Charybdis and her sister Scylla." Clarisse pointed to the top of the cliffs, making Percy gulp.

"What do you mean the only way?" Percy asked. "The sea is wide open! Just sail around them."

Clarisse rolled her eyes. "Don't you know anything? If I tried to sail around them, they would just appear in my path again. If you want to get into the Sea of Monsters, you have to sail through them."

"What about the Clashing Rocks?" Annabeth said. "That's another gateway. Jason used it."

"I can't blow apart rocks with my cannons," Clarisse said. "Monsters, on the other hand..."

Annabeth quickly turned to Naruto and Daichi.

"We can," Naruto said before she could ask them. "But we are too close to the rocks. It's not safe. The backslash would destroy the whole ship."

Clarisse turned to the captain. "Set course for Charybdis!"

"Aye, m'lady."

The engine groaned, the iron plating rattled, and the ship began to pick up speed.

"Clarisse," Percy said, "Charybdis sucks up the sea. Isn't that the story?"

"And spits it back out again, yeah."

"What about Scylla?" he asked nervously.

"She lives in a cave, upon those cliffs. If we get too close, her snaky heads will come down and start plucking sailors off the ship," Thalia said.

"Choose Scylla then," Percy said after he thought about it. "Everybody goes below deck and we chug right past."

"No!" Clarisse said. "If Scylla doesn't get her easy meat, she might pick up the whole ship. Besides, she's too high to make a good target. My cannons can't shoot straight up." She looked at both Naruto and Daichi. "Or do you have your magic trick that could hurt her way up there?"

"They are not magic tricks. They are jutsus," Daichi corrected her. "Anyway, we are in the sea and my most powerful jutsus required earth element."

Naruto did answer her. He looked in front of the ship with no emotions on his face.

The engine hummed. The boilers were heating up and the deck getting warm beneath their feet. The smokestacks billowed. The red Ares flag whipped in the wind.

As they got closer to the monsters, the sound of Charybdis got louder and louder. Every time Charybdis inhaled, the ship shuddered and lurched forward. Every time she exhaled, they rose in the water and were buf-feted by ten-foot waves.

"Percy, Try to control the water!" Thalia shouted. "You're Poseidon's son."

Percy closed his eyes and tried to calm the sea, but he couldn't concentrate. Charybdis was too loud and powerful. The waves wouldn't respond.

"I—I can't," he said miserably.

"We need a backup plan," Annabeth said. "This isn't going to work."

"Annabeth is right," Tyson said. "Engine's no good."

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Pressure. Pistons need fixing."

Before he could explain, Charybdis roared. The ship lurched forward and everyone was thrown to the deck. The ship was in the whirlpool. Then everything suddenly stopped. There was no noise or movement around them. There was completely silent. It felt like someone had stopped the time.

They quickly turned towards Naruto to see his both hands on the deck which were shining with contact. His eyes were pure black with no pupils in them.

"I can only control it for maximum ten minutes," he said in a strained voice.

"Full reverse!" Clarisse screamed as dead Confederates rushed back and forth. The propeller grinded into reverse.

A zombie sailor burst out of the hold and ran to Clarisse. His gray uniform was smoking. His beard was on fire. "Boiler room overheating, ma'am! She's going to blow!"

"Well, get down there and fix it!"

"Can't!" the sailor yelled. "We're vaporizing in the heat."

"I can fix it." Tyson said.

Clarisse looked at him incredulously. "You?"

"He's a Cyclops," Annabeth said. "He's immune to fire. And he knows mechanics."

"Go!" Clarisse yelled.

"Tyson, no!" Percy grabbed his arm. "It's too dangerous!"

He patted the shorter boy's hand. "Only way, brother." His expression was determined—confident, even. Percy had never seen him look like this before. "I will fix it. Be right back."

As Percy watched him follow the smoldering sailor down the hatch.

"Are you ok, Naruto?" Thalia said as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Tell them to hurry up," Naruto said. There was strain in his face and sweat dripping from his forehead.

"Clarisse, hurry up!" Daichi shouted. "Master can't hold much longer."

Clarisse nodded. But before she could give orders to undead, another smoldering sailor burst out of the hold. He stumbled into her, almost knocking them both over-board. "The engine is about to blow!"

"Where's Tyson?" Percy demanded.

"Still down there," the sailor said. "Holding it together somehow, though I don't know for how much longer."

The captain said, "We have to abandon ship."

"No!" Clarisse yelled.

"We have no choice, m'lady. The hull is already crack-ing apart! "

"All of you, take lifeboats and go!" Naruto shouted. "I can only hold it for another three or five minutes."

"No, I can't leave Tyson!" Percy shouted.

"Sorry, Percy," Daichi said from behind him. He pressed a pressure point on his neck as Percy fell on the ground unconscious. He looked at Annabeth. "Take him with you."

Annabeth nodded.

Clarisse and a few of her undead sailors uncovered one of the two emergency rowboats.

"Get on the boat, Thalia," Annabeth shouted.

"No. I am staying here with Naruto," Thalia told her.

"We are staying here," Daichi corrected.

"Then take care of yourself," Annabeth said, and they sailed away from the ship.

"So, what now?" Thalia asked, looking at Naruto.

"Just gave me a few minutes," Naruto said, but suddenly he sensed something. "Grab me! We are going now!"

"What about Tyson?" Thalia asked.

"He is a Cyclops. He will be fine," Daichi said.

"Grab me!" Naruto shouted again.

As soon as they grabbed his shoulder, Naruto shouted, activating his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, "Kamui!" They disappeared before the CSS Birmingham exploded.

KAROOM!

The engine room blew, sending chunks of ironclad flying in either direction like a fiery set of wings. The lifeboats had managed to get away from the ship, but not very far. Flaming wreckage was raining down.

Then there was a different kind of explosion—the sound of Hermes's magic thermos being opened a little too far. White sheets of wind blasted in every direction, scattering the lifeboats. It split up the group, sending Percy and Annabeth flying away into the sea nearby while Clarisse was violently buffeted by the wave of air and wave to another direction.

No one knew what happened to Naruto's group and Tyson.

XXX

Naruto woke up. He saw both Thalia and Daichi were laying both sides to him. He sat up and noticed that he wasn't near the sea. It was a green forest with lots of trees around. He quickly made two small water balls using water manipulation, and splashed it on both Thalia and Daichi's faces to wake them up.

"What?" Daichi said as he opened his eyes.

Thalia did the same.

They sat up to see they were in the forest.

Thalia asked, "Where are we?"

"No clue," Naruto said as he stood up. He showed her hand.

Thalia took his hand in her and stood up on feet. "Thanks," she said. "Anyway, what happened to others?"

"I don't know. I can't sense them."

"Master," Daichi called. "Does this place look familiar to you?"

Naruto looked around. The trees were looked healthier and they were large. He could also sense some chakra signature, which was impossible.

He bit his thumb, then quickly made the hand seal and slammed a hand on the ground. "Summoning Jutsu!" With a puff of smoke, a large white wolf appeared in front of him.

"What can I do for you, Master?" the wolf asked.

"I need your help."

XXX

Naruto and Daichi sped through the forest, hopping tree branch to tree branch. Thalia was following them from the back of the wolf.

"Where are we going?" she asked. She was sitting on the wolf's back.

"Just follow me," Naruto said as he increased his speed.

After a few minutes later, hopping tree branch to tree branch, they stopped.

"So, I was right," Naruto said.

"Ok, where are we?" Thalia asked.

"We are outside of the hidden village of leaf, Konohagakure," Daichi said, pointing at a large wooden gate front of them.
