Diana's cradles her head in the hand that is propped up against the large table, of which is surrounded by the founding members of the Justice League - Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash, Cyborg and of course herself. However, Batman was absent and they are joined by Mera and Zatanna.
They have been discussing the strong warrior who is currently in the Watch Tower cells and has been there for about two hours.
Quite frankly Diana stopped listening about ten minutes in as they are just going in circles.
Kal states "He seems to know alot about Diana, the amazons, her heritage but he wouldn't explain it any further."
"He is dangerous." explains a worried Superman, making Diana snap out of her Asgardian themed daydream.
"Aren't we all, Kal?" Making Superman glance over to her and sigh. Diana stands up and walks towards the doors.
Kal explains "Diana all founding members are expected to attend the meetings in full."
A fidgety Green Lantern nudges is pal Flash and whispers "Where's the caped crusader then?"
In further response Diana spits "If we just sat in here, talking about saving peoples lives, no one would be saved. There's no point in sitting here talking about doing something, when we could just do it?" without looking back to her team mates.
She immediately makes her way to the cell containing the Norse God, now determined to find out what the hell is going on.
As she stomps her way down the corridor she is passed by an extremely angry Batman who barks "He speaks in riddles, maybe you can get some sense out of it... gods."
Diana can't help but giggle at the state Batman was in.
She bursts through the doors and crosses her arms, set on being stern and aggressive in her approach.
She states "You wanted to talk, so talk warrior."
In response Thor sighs and says all he can in order to try to explain a seemingly inexplainable situation "Did you see it? it was horrible."
Surprised at such a strong man showing emotion so quickly, Diana leans against the clear cell wall and slides down to speak more casually.
Diana turns to question the man and says "Do you speak of the dream?" in a hushed tone, as if she is embarrassed, perhaps worried that only she saw the nightmare. The broad man nods, confirming that he must had the vison but seems to contain a similar amount of confusion on the subject. He moves closer to the see-through separation between them.
Both sit in silence for a few minutes, their backs would be touching if it weren't for the cell.
The two godly beings sit in silence for a few moments backs against the containment cell. Without turning to face each other the conversation soon continues.
"How do you know so much about me and my people?" asks a now slightly annoyed Diana, as she realises she it yet to find a connection between her and a god that she has never even heard of before.
"Aphrodite? She was the one who came to me and showed us both the dream. I believe it is the future of your homeland and she sent me here to stop that future from happening."
Diana smiles and informs him "The Godess of Love and Beauty."
Thor lifts his head and asks "Have you ever met her?"
Diana sighs "Yes, she and her husband have always seemed to favor me. Turns out it was because I am Hephaestus' sister."
He lets out a quite chuckle "I am sure there are many reasons to favor you Princess."
Diana's brow furrows as he begs "Please, call me Diana."
Thor breaths in and exhales her name "Diana..." as it lingers on his lips, as if he is trying it on for fit.
He shakes any playfulness away with a wave of his hand and an assertive tone in his voice "We must travel to Themysrica and prepare. They could come any day from now." Making them both leap to their feet. Diana notices the matted blood on his face and goes to inspect his wounds but is intercepted by the clear wall, she forgot was there.
"Oh, Apologies Prince Odinson I will open the cell, is your shoulder okay?" Noticing that it is the most noticeable gash around.
Mimicking her moan from earlier he too begs "Please, call me Thor." Then he grins again before claiming "Oh this little thing, it should heal soon enough but then again I have never been burnt by a man's eyes before."
Diana uses her details to over ride the cell doors, making them open before she responds.
And casually adds "If it hasn't healed once get reach Themysrica, I will have the amazons look after it."
Before leaving, she points to the Hammer that Thor gracefully dropped into the evidence tray before willingly walking into the boring white cell.
As they reach the lift, they are interrupted by an angry looking group of superheros.
Bruce barks in his usual attitude "Where are you taking the prisoner Diana? He attacked Superman, he can not go un-interrogated."
Thor sounds almost wounded by this claims "He actually tackled me first... hooded man."
Diana crosses her arms. "He is not your prisoner Batman, he is my guest and comrade as we leave for my homeland."
Zatanna uncontrollably pipes up and gushes as she notices Thor mouth Batman? with a crinkle on his nose "He really is a hunk, taking him to meet the parents huh Di?"
Clark now extremely confused pleas with his friend "Diana, explain what's going on, help us understand. How can you even trust this guy enough to take him to Themyscria?"
Diana huffs as she is growing impatient. Every minute she takes to explain is a minute wasted.
And begins to ramble, trying to explain, something she fears none of them will ever understand Th0or notices her problem and steps forward, places his hands on his hips and explains "Members of the Justice League, I came here to help Diana, now I will try to explain, sorry if you still can't comprehend what i speak of."
Diana shuts up and looks grateful for the save.
Thor continues to explain to the Midgardians as best he can. "I am a god, a Norse god? ...As you probably know, Diana is a demi-godess, a greek demi-godess."
Hal laughs "Duh."
Which Thor and everyone else ignores despite feeling slightly patronised, he goes on with several crazy hand gestures " Aphrodite traveled from Mount Olympus to where I live, Asgard and gave us both a vision of the future, of the amazon's dismay due to Zeus' jealous wife and their children. I am here to stop that from happening."
Hal interjects again "I lost you at vision of the future." Making Thor sigh.
"Why can't the League just go to Themyscria and help? Diana you know we would." Says a concerned Clark.
Diana pants "This is bigger than the Justice League, these are gods we are talking about here Clark. Also no matter how bad it gets, I cannot just turn up with a group of super powered men without warning my sisters."
"But you can with him?" Grunts Batman.
Diana sternly says "Yes because, Aphrodite would not have sent him to Themyscria if it wasn't for a reason. I believe he is meant to come with me."
Thor pompously adds "Diana's world is much like mine, it makes much more sense than metal space stations and tight green costumes."
Diana nudges him forward. "We will travel alone, the need for back up will surely be inevitable."
Bruce goes to follow them but Clark gently grabs his arm "Let her go."
Hal crosses his arms with a stomp of his foot. "Did he just diss my costume? Batman was standing right in front of him but he picks on me?"
The other three harmonise their "Shut up Hal" perfectly.
Before Clark reassures them "I am not sure about this guy either Bruce but I guess she has to try."
"Have any of you actually seen any of these gods before?" Asks a puzzled Zatanna.
To which the others all cynically shake their heads.
