"Wait! I've got something," one of the rescuers said into his headset.

"What-cha got?"

"Blood and lots of it."

"Could be animals."

"I don't think blood is spread out like that."

"Ok get the coordinates to the FBI, and get a team out here."

"Alright, let's head out.

Derek had decided that he was ready no matter what Emily said. He was worried about her. Even thought she covered some of the bloodied snow he still knew how much she had lost. She needed a hospital, they both did and it was now up to him to get them there. How far away were they from road? It couldn't be that far. How they got lost in the first place still puzzled him.

He was able to carry her for about an hour until his arms gave out. She had agreed to lie on the sled for the remainder of the way. He knew she didn't like it one bit but she did it anyway. Derek almost knew exactly how the mind of Emily Prentiss worked. It was complicated but over the years he had figured a good portion of it out. He knew that she didn't want his to carry her or pull her because she is very independent. She the kind of person where if she needed help she would ask for it, but even that was rare.

They drove to the given location and got the forensics to take samples of blood. "We'll this wolf was defiantly killed by a human," Rossi said.

"How can you tell?" Reid asked.

"Animals don't shoot one another."

"Hotch found an old fire and some supplies in the cave. There were also bloody bandages," JJ said walking up.

"This blood is defiantly one of theirs. Whose ever it is seriously injured," Rossi concluded.

"Was it a wolf attack?" JJ wondered.

"Most likely."

"They couldn't have gotten far," Reid said looking out.

"The road isn't but a few miles out, they could have made it," one of the officers said. "They could already be there, so we should head that way.

"He's right, it's our best chance in finding them," Chief said.

"I'll get Hotch," said JJ walking away.

There, in the distance. A red pickup rolled down the road. The hours of walking down the road had paid off. They stepped off to the side and waved their hands trying to get the drivers attention. The man pulled up next them without hesitation. "Oh my, oh wow. You must be the missing Agents, am I right?" he asked quickly getting out of his truck.

"Yes!" Morgan exclaimed.

"I've seen you on the news! I was the one who found your car up the mountain."

"Thank you so much. Could you please take us to the station? My partner, she can't walk."

"Oh course, get in!"

Emily's relieved smile slowly disappeared seeing the man limp. She squeezed Derek's arm hard. "I don't think so," she whispered.

"What? Why? Em we made it, we're fine."

"I just have this feeling."

"Is there a problem?" the man asked turning to them.

"No we're alright," Derek said.

Emily stared into his sympathetic eyes trying to see past them. "What happened to your leg?"

"Em," Derek nudged.

"No, no it's quite alright. Slipped on the ice, you know how it can be," he smiled.

"Right," she halfheartedly smiled.

"Let's go," Derek said pulling her along.

The heat from the car filled their lungs and warmed their faces. They got in quickly and hugged arms. The warmth was like candy. As the mysterious man turned the car around Emily turned to Derek. "Home," she smiled.

"Home," he agreed.

"The name's Rick."

"Emily."

"Derek."

"I'm so glad you guys made it out. Lots us thought you were as good as dead."

"Yeah, so did we."

A smile of success spread across Ricks face. His plan had worked. Time to go home.

Emily looked out the window glad to see the trees going by fast. She missed cars, the heat, and other people. Passing a couple signs warning drivers of animal crossings she was surprised to the sign leading to town go bye. "Um excuse me, I think you missed the turn," she said pointing back.

"Nope we are going the right way, trust me," he said turning around. The look in his eyes sent her over the age. She gave an uneasy laugh and looked into Derek's eyes. He seemed confused of the current situation.

"Derek," she pleaded in a whisper.

"DO you by any chance have a phone on you?" he asked.

"Sorry no, left it at the house, but don't worry we're almost there."

Derek wasn't sure if he meant the satiation or his house.

Minutes later they pulled up to a brick house. "I'm sorry but this is not what we asked of you," Derek said containing his anger.

"I know but we can feed you and get you cleaned up."

"We?" Emily asked.

"Me and my wife, she's a nurse so maybe she can look at that foot of yours."

"No that won't be necessary but thank you."

"Please take us to the station," Derek insisted.

"I will do as you ask… after we go inside."

He got out of his car and opened their door. "Come on."

Emily snaked her hand into her coat and grabbed hold of her gun. As Derek helped her out she slowly pulled it out and held it to the back of his head. "Take us to the station, now," she ordered.

"What do you think you can do to me Agent?"

"I can shoot you right here, right now. I have a much higher authority over you right now so I would suggest you get in the car and take us."

"Very good Emily, you're strong, but sadly not strong enough," she said and whipped around. She grabbed her gun and stabbed her leg with a needle. Before Derek could make his move a needle was in him as well. As both their unconscious bodies fell he hoisted them back into the truck.

The door to the house opened and a very pregnant woman came through the doorway. "Rick is everything alright?"

"I got'em."

"Who?"

"Those missing Agents, I found them and I am taking them to the back."

"Ok well be careful, they could beat you easily."

"What you trying to say?" he snapped.

"No honey I'm not saying your not strong enough it's just you verses two FBI Agents. I'm just worried."

"Sorry I didn't mean to snap at you like that. Thank you for your concern but the woman, she can't walk and the man he's pretty weak right know." He gave her a quick hug and kiss before returning to the driver's seat. He had only injected them with enough to knock them out for a few minutes, so he had to hurry.

They followed the officer all the way to the road and came up empty handed. They had found the sled about a mile back but that was it. They were loosing faith in finding their friends. It had been almost a week and nothing. "We'll go up and down the road but that's all we can do. We've looked as much as we can," Hotch said.

"What we can't give up," Reid said getting upset. "What's next we give up and go home?"

Hotch and JJ looked at each other nervously.

"Are you serious?!" he asked as his voice got higher.

"Reid we've looked for a week. I need to get home to Jack, I can't leave him with his aunt forever," Hotch said.

"I need to get back to Henry. Will called and said Henry was sick and he needed to get back to work," JJ also said.

"We can't leave… not yet." the look on his face, his thought of never seeing two of his best fiends, them gone forever.

"What if me and the kid stay?" Rossi asked. "You two go home to your kids and we'll handle it. Come back when you can."

Hotch nodded, "We'll leave in the morning."

Emily opened her eyes and looked around. She was in the back of the truck next to Morgan who was still out of it. She reached for her gun but it wasn't there. Remembering how it got knocked out of her hand she looked for Morgan's but it was gone too. She slid her hand into her pocket and found her phone. Emily pushed it into her bra so he wouldn't find it and take it. Seeing Derek wake up too she pressed a finger to her lips and nodded towards the driver.

They lie there silently waited for the car to stop. Seconds later the truck came to a halt and Rick got out. He opened the door and pulled them out, already knowing they were awake. He left Emily on the ground as he forcefully walked Derek over to a cellar door; forcing him down he shut it.

He pushed Emily down causing her to slip on the middle stair. She flew down as her feet came from underneath. Emily's upper back slammed on the corner of the bottom step. Gasping she rolled over on her side, and hugged her stomach. She couldn't breath, for her lungs wouldn't expand. Having the wind knocked out of her was scary, and painful. The air would go in but not out. Sounds she had never made before escaped her lips.

Derek ran over immediately. "Emily!" He rubbed her back. "Shhh it's ok."

She couldn't move. Emily tried to roll back but her shoulder wasn't moving. After two minutes of shock she was breathing again. "D-Derek. It...It hurts."

"I know baby, I know, just hold on."

"My shoulder."

"What about it?"

"I think it's out... Out of place."

"Can you sit up?"

Her breaths were shaky and unsure of themselves. She gripped his coat and pulled. She sat up and looked him in the eyes.

"I'm going to put it back. Ok? I'm going to hit it into place."

She nodded as the tears pricked her eyes. He turned her around and found the raised area. "One, two, three," he said calmly. He pushed hard and the joint back into its place.

"AH!" She bit her lip and cried. Screams escaped her lips as the bone scraping against bone sent excruciating pain through out her whole body. She fell into his chest and held on.

He pulled her close and held her tight. He leaned up against the adjacent wall and tried to keep calm. Derek wrapped her up as she sobbed into him. "We're going to be ok, we'll be ok. I promise you we will get out of this together, and we'll go home and get on with life... I promise," he said planting a kiss on her forehead.

"Don't let me go."

His eyes widened. The memories of Emily getting kidnapped a year and half go flooded his mind. Him finding her dying on the floor with a wooden stake sticking out of her abdomen, she had asked him to let her go that night, but he couldn't. Now hearing her say the complete opposite was music to his ears. "Never."
