Chapter 7
The Apology
~~Tigress's POV~~
I don't know what happened to him that night. I assumed that Po had enough sense when discussing things about the orphanage, and the kids calling me a monster, the life that just destroyed me inside. I was damaged inside, however I would never show such mental pain. He has done plenty in the past that would be memorable, but this would've been unmemorable.
He has accomplished things that have changed a part of me. He's the one who came to aid me at Gongmen City when I was floating in the water. The pain was intense, but he was there. When he held my paw, it felt like someone actually cared about me.
Po is in Mantis's room, Viper is in as well. I guess it makes sense. He accidentally mentally hurt his friend, but you can't be excused from such a mistake.
As I sit back on my bed, I can hear them talking and discussing about Po. I'm surprised everyone else hasn't heard it yet.
He didn't mean to do it. Unfortunately. There's things you just gotta live with, I'm not sure who's more hurt though.
I can't help it. So I get off my bed, exit my room, and enter the hallway. No one out, good. I scramble down the hallways until I find Mantis's room.
The screen door was slightly opened, so I peek in from the crack of the screen door and notice Po on his bed. He and Po were joking about something and talking to Viper of course.
Mantis had already cheered him up. You couldn't see them from where I was. The bug was wielding a scroll that he made. Enough said. I simply barge in the room, Everyone turns and looks at me as I come in.
"Tigress?"
"Master Viper?"
The two warriors looked at each other, but Viper seemed to be surprised that the tiger wanted to talk to the panda after what he had said.
"I was just going to talk to you," said Viper.
"I'm fine, I think it's Po who needs attention..." I stated.
She smiled happily, she was always in the mood to please others by attempting to give them a good attitude.
Viper also liked having the ability to cheer others with ease. The snake didn't appreciate someone in a depressed or unhappy manner.
Viper slithered around me, exiting the room for some reason. I'm wasn't entirely sure to be exact.
No matter. Mantis and Po were staring at me, the panda was sitting on Mantis's bed eagerly.
I never knew why Mantis desired a large bed anyway. It didn't matter, as long as the master was comfortable and was suitable for the next day was gold for me.
Po looked precisely at me, his eye's contacted with mine. A unique look was given by him, by unique I mean a shit-eating grin.
I shook my head in utter, and simple amusement given from the Dragon Warrior. He was not ready for any apologies that regarded in damage.
"So...Po!" started Mantis, "What do you have to say to Tigress?" he asked in a scripted fashion.
Po smirked, "I...I...I'm sorry Tigress, I'm an idiot..." he chuckled.
I only walked towards him and touched his shoulder passionately, he spun his attention drastically to my paw and back at me.
"It's okay, Po." I replied.
Mantis chuckled, "I knew she we would be okay, Po!" The bug jumped into a mess of laughter. He was laughing his little head off on his back.
I noticed Po blushing. He wasn't comfortable with this situation. I could tell he overreacted about this whole scenario, it's almost kinda cute I have to admit. At least he apologized for his silly statement.
Po looked at Mantis and scowled, "Do you have to?" he asked.
Mantis's pattern of laughs died down. The bug turned over on his legs and returned his attention to the Dragon Warrior.
He chuckled once more, "Po, you got way too worried about this," he said, "I'm shocked Viper didn't even say anything as well."
"Because, Viper is very nice!" Po returned, "She is also doesn't laugh at her friend." he added.
Mantis shrugged, "Heck, it's not my fault. You can...you know...go back to your room. It's late."
Po raised himself from the bed and proceeded to exiting the room, he made a stomping sound when he stepped on the floor.
As he exited the room, Mantis looked at me and said something. I wasn't sure at first what he meant.
"He's always worried about the ones he cares for the most. I guess."
I looked at him, "Maybe," I said, "I probably should leave for you to rest." I included.
He nodded, "Well, night Master Tigress."
I roamed towards the hallways and shifted around, "Goodnight." I replied. Then he jumped off his bed and went to close the screen doors.
I was going to assist him, however he decided that it was his own responsibility. He used his forelegs to slam the doors shut instantaneously.
Then I directed myself back to my room, where I would get my night's rest that I needed for the next day.
This chapter has been reconstructed to be more logical to the later chapters and reduce plot-holes.
However, by not being too apologetic, I'm sorry Tigress was somewhat OOC, so I have remade Tigress's behavior to be more realistic compared to the Tigress in the movies - Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2.
I hope this has cleared a few situations out, I'm editing the other chapters as well. They need to be transparent enough to give the reader (you) a better understanding of this story.
All in all, I hope this reconstructed piece of literature was superior to the previous.
Thank you for reading Chapter 7: The Apology.
