The dragon and huntsgirl sat in the cell for about an hour more. Saying nothing. It was all quiet except for the sound of breathing and beating hearts. They waited for someone to say something, for an excuse to say something more. But really, they waited for the announcer to say something, to tell them to do something or to force something upon them. Then, maybe then, they could talk more or argue. The air in the room was thick. Not really, but it felt as though. They got too close. They were feeling a connection and that scared them. If something like that happened, what would happen next? Would they be friends? Continue to be enemies? What happens when your nemesis calls out to you? What happens when you can't conjure up words to continue a conversation?

Rose stopped sobbing obviously. She didn't know what to say to the dragon. She couldn't decide if it was some sick joke. It's really hard to figure out what he is feeling when it's a dragon face. Then again, he could only see her eyes.

She thought that what if a dragon can tell what you're thinking by your eyes? It was a weird thought, but what if? Weirdly enough, it would be a pretty good explanation to how he can counter her moves instantly. She threw the idea away as it really was just silly.

She looked over at the dragon. He had moved over to the opposing corner and was facing her, but was focusing on his hands. Twiddling his thumbs. The corner of her mouth curled upward. He looked different. He looked funny. She decided to study his dragon form.

His red scales were shiny. They glistened in the light. She thought for a second and remembered dragons can make their scales shiny or opaque depending on their situation, like if they were trying to be sneaky they would make it opaque. If they were showing off or were just letting their guard down, it would return to it's shiny form.

His belly looked soft and yellow. It was really one of the weak points in a dragon and was why she took every chance she got to kick or punch him there. She took a closer look, and saw that it looked really strong. Even though it was the 2nd weakest part, she could tell that the dragon does a lot of cardio. The muscles were slightly defined, which wasn't bad, he was still an adolescent dragon after all.

She focused on his tail which was gently wagging. It was also strong and covered with the scales. She thought about the amount of times he used his tail to his advantage to throw her off, and to grab things out of reach of his claws.

After awhile, she thought about the times of anger she had. How angry she had been towards the dragon. She would be to mad and distressed that she would work thrice as hard at practice and would eventually tire and work herself out. Her panting would be course and her muscles would feel burned- but she would still want to throw more punches and kicks. Anything to rid her anger and her mind of the American Dragon. She used to be so mad.

But right now, she didn't feel anything. She just felt like doing nothing. But deep down, she wanted to say something at the least.

In one swift movement, she stood and glided quietly across the uneven dusty floor. He seemed so distracted in his thoughts, that he didn't notice the huntsgirl standing next to the keypad. She examined the buttons closer. There were 12 buttons. 11 white square buttons and at the bottom right corner was a very prominent green circle button. She shook her head and remembered what had happened before, even though there weren't any glowing bars dividing them, she didn't want to know what would happen to them if she decided to press it now.

She held her finger just an inch away from a white one on the top right corner. Over the past couple of days, she didn't get the chance to mess or investigate what the buttons did. She knew she really shouldn't, but she was extremely curious.

After another moment of debating with and against the idea, she tapped the button.

Nothing happened at first, then there was black. She realized she had closed her eyes and slowly opened them dreading what she had done.

She didn't dread what happened one bit.

The dragon was upside down hanging from the ceiling by both his legs and tail. He looked as shocked as ever and looked around with wide eyes.

"What the..?" He stopped at the huntsgirl and frowned.

"Get me down from here!" He was begging and started to attempt reaching for the rope. As soon as he touched it, he was zapped and he fell to his original state, still hanging.

She took in the scene at the distressed dragon, mad and confused. She held her hand to her masked mouth to hold back the laughter that was about to erupt.

He looked over at her and looked pretty mad and embarrassed. He tried wriggling around reaching for the ground but caught off balance and started spinning.

She couldn't hold it in anymore. She burst out laughing. She was laughing at the scene, and at the dragon. He was really dumb. He was kind of funny. He was just like any other guy she met and she laughed at that. Then she thought about his human form. OBviously she never saw it, but she very distinctively remembered that dragons are technically humans. She remembered she was human. They are both humans right? She continued laughing at the thought that she was trying to murder a human. She wasn't laughing because it was funny, she felt like she had been doing wrong for so long, that it really is common sense. Her laughter turned into a cry. She sunk to the ground and sobbed for what seemed like hours. When she was finished, she slowly brought her head back up and began to wipe away her tears. Her face was blocked and she felt restrained, but then she realized that someone was rubbing her face.

She opened her eyes when it went away and in front of her sat the dragon. He was looking at his tail.

"You know, dragon tails are kind of absorbent." He brought his tail back up and she saw that her tears disappeared within the scales.

Rose felt suddenly embarrassed and confused. She had been crying in front of the dragon for fifteen minutes. She had shown weakness.

She looked at him in the eyes, which weren't looking at her.

"How'd you get down?" She asked suddenly feeling extremely weak from all the mixed emotions.

He looked up at her with his dragon eyes.

"Uhm, man. You know." He started to sound like he was coming up with an excuse with the start of this. "I just used my awesomeness and came down."

She looked up and saw the rope looked chewed. She observed the dragon and noticed his scales looked singed.

"You chewed the rope didn't you?"

He looked at her with big eyes then slowly said, "No…"

She thought for another moment and put two and two together. There was no reason he would zap himself that much. There was no reason for him to get down so quickly. Her eyes met his again and she took a breath and decided to just ask it.

"Why did you do that for me?"

I did this next chapter the next day? WOW. This will probably be the only time I'm doing this, but I was kind of intrigued with this story myself. So, I just wanted to say, you thought I forgot about the keypad thing huh? NOPE! I remembered because I'm AWESOME. Okay but really, I did take note to remember. Anyways, I decided that I'll really try my best. I'll try and submit another chapter next week. So, just keep on checking in! Love you guys. See you next time!
