(Cameron & Jey)

Cameron was on her back on her bed, she was lucky that she had escaped alive. The events had been tense, but in the end things had worked out fortunately. Her mind wandered to last night.

She chuckled at the look of surprise on Naomi's face when the woman saw what the inside of that "rickety farm" looked like. The farm was a cover, a very good one since it appeared not in use and the next-door neighbor was a good 5 or 6 miles away. She made her way to her room, taking inventory of the bag she had given Naomi. She took to cleaning her weapons dismantling each piece carefully. Once she was done she indulged in one of her favorite luxuries, bathing. She waited for the water to heat up before clogging it. As she carefully sat down she rested her back against the tub feeling the hot water work her sore muscles before grabbing her soap and sponge.

She knew Jimmy was happy to have Naomi back, but she wondered what would happen with them. Would he tell her the truth? If so, how would she take it? She thought about how adamant he had been about saving his fiancé, so she knew he loved her, but how could you love someone and not be honest with them? She wondered, than shook her head concluding that the whole situation would make a great Lifetime supernatural movie, before finishing her bath and entering her room with her towel wrapped around her.

She paused when she saw Jey sitting on her bed, waiting for her. Whatever he had to say she wasn't in the mood for as she walked to her closet and began pulling out clothes and necessities.

"Cameron," he began when she ignored him, he looked her over smelling the slight scent of blood. She disappeared into the bathroom before exiting fully clothed, he saw her roll her eyes when she noticed that he hadn't left. He firmly grabbed her arm walking her back into the bathroom and having her sit on the toilet seat cover. He could smell the soap and lotion she used, chocolate raspberry, her favorite.

"I'm fine Jey, it's just a small cut," she protested trying to shrug out of his hand, but he held fast as he found the cut and cleaned it. Cameron shivered at the feel of his hands carefully roaming her skin. Once he was done he leaned back against the bathroom sink watching her, his eyes taking her in.

"I didn't think the job would be like that, sorry."

"What fun would it be if it didn't come with its share of danger," she responded getting up to walk away.

Jey blocked her by turning her around and pressing her against the sink his arms on either side of her as he hovered over her. His eyes which were normally a dark brown color appeared midnight as he looked into her eyes.

Cameron felt the goose bumps on her skin as she watched his eyes, she knew he felt it, that undercurrent of unfinished business between them, but she wasn't here for it or him. They had made their decision a long time ago, what Naomi and Jimmy had weren't for them, it never had been. She pushed him back moving around him before sitting on her bed. His back was to her and she could see him clenching and unclenching his fist.

She came back to the present when she felt what sounded like a weight press against her door, she sighed when she realized it was Jey, she wasn't in the best place to receive another stare down of tension with him. She focused her eyes on the ceiling asking him what he wanted, she didn't expect the thud she got in return; Jey was faced down on the floor out cold. She rushed to him immediately calling out for his brother, while searching him over.

I want to give a special shout out to CharliceArchAngel, Enchanted15, thirdfunkadactyl, and those who have favorite and followed the story. After reading a few Naomi and Jimmy fanfiction and not seeing a lot I wanted to create one. You guys let me know I was right to do so. Thank you so much and Happy Hoidays!
