Its been a week since Ayano made the idea of sharing notebooks. It was her idea of helping her study, though Shintaro didn't see how it'd help, but just agreed to do it anyways. He always noticed on the corner of the pages, Ayano would leave little notes, and sometimes drawings. Shintaro decided to write back to her, "this isn't studying."

Getting the notebook back, Shintaro skimmed through the pages to see a new little note on the corner of the page. "Ah, Shintaro! I'm sorry I didn't think you'd actually read these.. (*´∀`*)" The boy couldn't help but imagine the girl doing the exact same face. He grabbed his pencil and began to write back to her, "well I do have eyes. and I don't see you studying much either."

Days passed as Shintaro actually started to look forward to the little notes and the drawings. They would write back to each other every day, and Ayano giving him looks to read the next page. Shintaro, hiding his hapiness as he read what the girl always write. It was always unrelated stuff they talked about. Either her favorite anime, what she did the other day, or Shintaro teasing her. Either way, they both enjoyed it.

The next day, Ayano had covered her face as she handed Shintaro the notebook. Confused, he went to the page that was recently wrote on. Not really caring what else was on there, he looked to the corner of the page. To his surprise there was nothing there. But Shintaro noticed that something was crossed off and erased. It was hard to read, though Shintaro managed to figure out was it was.

"I like you."

Ayano felt a tap on her shoulder, quickly bringing her head up. She looked over to see Shintaro facing the other way, handing her the notebook. Taking it, Ayano slowly flipped through the pages. Reaching the page with new writing, her face turned as red as her scarf when she read what was written on the paper.

"I like you too"
