I Love Luci!
Chapter 7: Lucifer
Dean and Lily were finishing up a hunt that led to a vampire's nest in Boise, Idaho when something didn't quite add up to Dean.
"Something seem a bit, I don't know, staged back there to you?" He asked her as they walked back to his car.
"Yeah, now that you mention it, almost like we were being watched too."
They heard someone appear behind them and then spun around, Dean holding up his pistol and Lily holding up her machete.
It was Lucifer.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa there. I come in peace." Lucifer held up his hands in defense and the hunters didn't lower their weapons.
"Lucifer." Dean hissed and Lily shot him a look of shock before training her gaze back on Lucifer.
"Surprised?" He asked her with a smile.
"Not even a little." She shot back.
"Well, they've certainly trained you well. You're their little dancing monkey, aren't you? Nice job on the vampires, by the way. Very elegant work." He started to slow clap.
"What do you want?" Dean growled.
"I want my son back."
"Jack." She said as she put the pieces together.
"Ding, ding, ding, someone give the girl her prize!"
"Well, he's not here." Dean told him.
"Duh. I'm gonna hitch a ride back to where you've stashed him." He smiled and encircled his fingers together in front of him, resting his arms.
"I don't think so." Dean spat back and Lucifer rolled his eyes, raising his arm and made a motion like he was going to snap his fingers.
"I know you don't care if I make you go poof Dean, but what about your girlfriend here?"
Dean looked from Lily to Lucifer in a panic and played the last card he was holding.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you." He said, lowering his gun.
"And why not?" He said, eyes trained on her with her returning the stare, not sure where Dean was going with this.
"Because that's the girl your son is in love with." Dean said with a smirk. Lily resisted the urge to shoot Dean the deadliest of daggers but kept her stare on Lucifer. She didn't want to give him any doubt.
"Oh, my dad." Lucifer proclaimed, putting his hand to his mouth and softening.
"That's right, so I'd back off unless you want your son to tear your ass apart." Dean kept his stance steady, knowing that Lily would be pissed at him.
"My son is in love? With a human?" He said this more to himself than anyone. They couldn't tell how he was feeling, they thought disbelief and then a bit angry.
"Yeah, so…" Dean was for once a loss for words as Lucifer paced back and forth contemplating this new information.
"Doesn't change much." Lucifer shrugged, trying not to give them the edge.
"So, you'd kill her? Dumb move, even for you." Dean looked at him, waiting for his next move and hoping it wasn't catastrophic. Suddenly, he sees Lily moving forward next to him and Lucifer trains his eyes back on her.
"Okay, so I'm just a human. Worth nothing, except it'll hurt Dean right here and now. Maybe he'll bring you to see Jack or maybe he'll let you kill him too. So, if you really believe that it doesn't change anything," She puts her machete on the ground and lifts her arms to her sides, "Go ahead and kill me."
Lucifer looks from her to Dean and Dean doesn't look at her, keeping his emotions in check.
"You think I won't?" He scoffs at them and folds his arms, putting one hand to his chin, considering.
"No, I think you might." She says, arms now at her sides and her eyes baring into his very soul, well if he had a soul.
Dean's eyes can't help but widen as Lucifer approaches her slightly.
"It's no fun when you're all a bunch of self-sacrificing hairless apes. I guess I'll spare you for now. Will you bring me to my son?"
"Seriously?" She scoffed at him, "I would rather die then bring him to you, thought that was clear."
He started approaching her faster, lifting his arm, getting ready to snap and she took a step back closer to Dean.
There was a sudden gush of wind and they were back at the bunker, facing a man in a trench coat.
I know this one is short, but it leads to introducing the next person! I'm sure Luci will be back though!
